The kids eat for £1 is great value, the portions are quite small, but getting some fruit and a drink is good. We had an adult steak pie and a curry. The pie meal was nice but the curry came with chips instead of a naan without explanation. The sausage with one of the children’s- meals was very dry and overcooked. It is a good deal but not all the food is the best quality.

I visited asda cafe today with friends. Both my daughter and I have cows milk and soya milk allergies. I am aware that it is a supermarket cafe however was disappointed with the very limited choices available (no oat milk for hot drinks, no sunflower spread alternative for toast, only yoghurt/chocolate/cheese choices for the kids packed lunch meals) compared to other similar cafes menus. However, my biggest issue was that when I politely asked if these options were available the staff member described me as 'fussy' which I just felt was really rude and unnecessary. Perhaps I am fussy because I won't be visiting again.

Poor quality food, bacon extremely hard and inedible. Cooked items all cold staff didn't seem bothered not worth the money spent on the food items clearly all items had been left under a hot light for far too long.

Terrible breakfast for the money £8.70 for a large breakfast and a coffee looked like a kids breakfast when it was handed to me. Hard cold bacon and cheap sausages with no taste, no toast and half a tomato two tiny eggs and a small scoop of cheap beans, one soggy hash brown, joke.

2 cook breakfast, 2 coffees £18, I thought these must be good at that price, no, cold bacon, back pudding you could not get a knife through and coffee you had to get yourself, one word joke.

No allergen information for main meals. When asked about lactose intolerances, the answer from the server was "I dont know..I have it but I'm fine just drinking red milk". Which is not the brightest answer.

We arrived around 9:30 which was probably a bad time because the pre cooked bacon and sausages had dried up. Eggs were freshly cooked and the coffee was good. But overall a disappointing breakfast served by an unsmiling staff member. We won't be back.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience here today. Went with patter and my two young children to have breakfast and the staff were very rude, most unfriendly people I’ve met not one hello or smile just what do you want, and you can’t have that, giving us disgusting looks. Food was also very cold. Will not be returning

I was disappointed he was not in the store the day I visited. Reading his twitter feed I expected to see him. But I didn't. Otherwise excellent.

We like coming here for breakfast. Food is always nice and staff are always friendly. My favourite is the American breakfast. Kept reasonably clean even when busy. Very good for an Asda cafe.

We were in the area and decided to pop to Asda to do a food shop. Whilst there decided to have some lunch. We both decided to have a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Probably waited over 10 minutes for it to arrive and had to ask for cutlery as none had been available at the till. When we ate the sandwich we found it luke warm with the cheese in the middle not even melted. Should have complained but just could not be bothered. The sandwich was just edible but would not eat here again.

Was browsing around Asda and felt peckish! Plumped for the Fried breakfast! Great choice! Simple fare - good choice! Did the job! Nothing special, but solid enough! Served in 10 seconds, so it was already on the plate when I ordered it! Can't get quicker than that, but possibly an impact on how freshly prepared it was

Went here Sunday lunchtime expecting it to be busy but there was only 2 other customers eating so plenty of seating available. We ordered our food & a short while later it was brought over to our table, the food is cooked to order & was very nice. The chips were fantastic value, a big bowl for only £1 & were perfect. Pleasant staff & clean tables & cutlery, will visit again.

I know this is just a little café inside a large store but the food should be presentable hot and tasty. Our visit was none of these things. My partners mash potato was warm packet mash with no butter or flavour. The only way into the pies were through the bottom crust. The peas were a mess and inedible. The chips were cold and hard, they had obviously been reheated more than once. I would not recommend this café for anything.

Better than some other supermarket cafes in the area, convenient, do a fairly good English breakfast, great to start the day before a trip down the seasonal aisle.

The food here is good value. We needed somewhere to ear breakfast whilst visiting the area. It is a good size with the usual choice. Kids food was good value too. It is a cafe that serves a variety of food. Not all singing and dancing, but everything you need. The food could have been fresher, but you get what you pay for.

If you want a snack, coffee, brunch, lunch or dinner, simple fare, no fuss, no frills and reasonably priced then this is for you. It’s not fancy but the service is great, the food ok and will not break the bank. There’s not a huge amount of room but pick your time and you can enjoy a sit down with your coffee

Had a Panini and chips. Both were only warm the panini had not really been toasted so was soft bread with half melted cheese. The chips looked refried but not sure when as they were soft and very disappointing. Salad was wilting and looking tired. Overall very disappointing and will not bother here again.

Fancied a coffee and a cheap bit to eat. It was typical of a supermarket except for the prices. The cakes were nice. The cooked food looked okay but did not try it.

Mejor evitar.

Great stop off for a cuppa and slice of cake when shopping with a friend, or to grab a quick bite to eat (sausage and chips etc) if in need. What you would expect from a supermarket cafe.

This venue is just a cut above a greasy spoon. Service quite good for a supermarket, but food, though hot, was rather greasy. OK if you want a snack while shopping.

Whilst visiting family in Bedhampton, my wife and I, along with my brother and his partner (who we hadn't seen each other for 30yrs) had decided to go to Asda for some bits and pieces. Whilst there we decided to have a coffee and spend time catching up on some of our 30yr gap.On entering the cafe area, it wasn't quite obvious where we got the drinks from. This was due to the lay out of the serving areas and the big pallet of boxes of crisps, hiding the hot drinks dispensers. When we queried how we obtain our drinks, the little woman behind the counter was quite 'off' and abrupt and spoke as if it was obvious.Half of the machines were off and the coffee wasn't up to much from the working machine.Over the years of visiting mother in Bedhampton my wife and I have visited the store several times. We have always found it a nice place to shop, the staff pleasant and helpful, it's a shame this hasn't transferred to the cafe.

I was suprised at how good the service was here, okay it's just an ASDA cafe but the lady serving was cheery and helpful which made a positive difference to the experience. Even the guy clearing away was pleasant, polite and helpful. So well done you ASDA Cafe people. Great value breakfast and plenty of other choices available.

The Ferryboat Inn is beautifully-situated beside the sea at the westernmost extremity of Hayling Island, where a narrow tidal channel separates it from nearby Portsea Island, upon which the "Great Waterfront City of Portsmouth" stands. Most people who visit the Ferryboat Inn will come by motor car as there is a large, paid car park adjacent to the pub. It's also possible to get there by cycling, or walking, along the disused Hayling Billy line from Havant. There is a frequent road 'bus service from Havant to Hayling seafront but the nearest stop is a fifteen-minute walk from the pub. Alternatively, the No. 25 'bus service from the Hard Interchange in Portsmouth sets down at Eastney Lifeboat Station, from where it's possible to catch the hourly ferry sailing (Adult Single ticket GBP 3:50) to Hayling Island. The Ferryboat Inn, part of the Stonegate pub chain, gets very busy during Summer weekends as it's convenient for those who wish to walk or swim at Hayling beach, It's also very popular with watersports enthusiasts, and those who patronise the nearby Golf Course. The wait for food, if you wanted to eat at a table inside, was about an hour when I arrived on Saturday lunchtime so I bought a large, fried Cod and Chips from the pub's takeaway chippy and ate it at an outside table overlooking the entrance to Langstone Harbour. If it's a windy day and you wish to eat inside, a plate of hearty Sausage and Mash will set you back GBP 14:50 whilst a Lamb Shank costs GBP 17:50. There is a good range of food and drink on offer with a 175ml glass of red or white house wine coming in at well under a fiver. Food is served from 12:00-21:00 on Saturdays and from 12:00-19:00 on Sundays.

This is my local Wetherspoons whichwas visited by my wife and I yesterday at 4.30pm. It was noisier than usual which was due to the England New Zealand rugby match. We also used the App in here and the service was super fast which was good given the queue at the bar. Overall a great Wetherspoons experience and good value for money.
