Decent, clean and varied facilities

Probably the cleanest service station I've been in

Bit of a warren to get to as there are no signage pointing you to the food hall. If you are going past the Costa drive through, you've missed it, but fear not, you can go back and thread back to the same road. Once there, it is a quite decent services station, with various food options available. Currently there is light construction at the far end of the parking lot, but otherwise fine. Exit road is a bit wonky, take care of pot holes.

Sam at Greggs provided a wonderful service

Full off people speaking lots of languages! Who understands you! But you don't them. Would not go as a single woman. Did not feel safe.

Not a great services... toilets are dingy and dirty. Could be a lot better.

Sam the man who works at greggs is sooo positive and upbeat and it always makes my journey so much more enjoyable and fun ❤️❤️

Nice place to stop for food and drinks when in need & great for a quick stop for a wee or a poo ,but was very disappointing when trying to get a hot meal as all the restaurants were closed I think they need to get more staff to run the night shift as hot food is a must when on the move.

Unlike return journey , this Moto on the way to holiday was one of the better ,friendlier places to stop ,they all have higher prices for fuel and drinks etc ,but you don't mind if the Experience is worth it ,sadly few are but this one has exception to the rule .clean and tidy and toilet facilities were good .

Usual services direct access off the M4. Plenty of parking. Burger King etc. Toilets clean when I visited.

Another motorway service station, main reason to stop is to stretch the legs and use the toilets which were fresh and clean. There's a Greggs here too which is good but they never seem to be as good valued as on the high street 😕 🤔

Toilets were disgusting! Over half the cubicles were out of order so the queues were huge. When I finally got to a cubicle the toilet didn't flush, so I went to another one and there was poo on the floor!! Utterly disgusting state.

I don't like motorway service stations generally, but this is one that I am prepared to visit occasionally. It's always very busy but seems to be able to cope with the hugenumbersof visitors. There is plenty of parking, but it always seems to take a while to get in and out of the services.

This is my favorite service stop on the London - Bristol route. Always leave feeling recharged. The place is always buzzing, clean and well maintained. A special shout-out to Sam at Greggs, whom I have met thrice, and he is always full of energy and warmth. Keep up the great work team!

Sam from Greggs gave us a warm welcome and complimented us, as we've just come from a Hindu wedding. Wish all retailers had someone like him. He made our day even better! Amazing lattes and pastries too!

Pretty average service station. Smelly toilets (urine), although they looked reasonably clean.

Very large rest stop with multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket.

There should be a cap on the limit that service stations can charge for everything! Especially fuel!!! All prices should be the same as everywhere else.

I didn't see a single cleaner there. The toilet was disgusting and not cleaned regularly. In my opinion this is the worst moto service I ever went to

A necessary stop on a very busy road. Nothing paticular to write home about. It's a Motorway Service Area and serves the purpose.

The most filthy, run down motorway services toilets I've ever experienced. About a third of the toilets were blocked and out of order. The ones left were absolutely filthy. Also in really bad condition, cracked toilet roll holders, many locks that don't work and clearly lots of flushes that don't work hence the number of blocked toilets. There was a cleaner there but she was ignoring the toilets and was just mopping the middle of the floor - not the edges - with huge swathes left out. I wouldn't stop here unless you're so desperate you can't make it to the next services. These are an absolute disgrace and whoever runs the services should be ashamed/sacked!!

There’s a lot there. Plenty fast food outlets, Cornish pasties, shops, very expensive fuel! Even more reason to carry a fuel card of some sort! Seems a very large place , easy to loose your car!!!!

Large truck parking lot, free shower. Many shops open 24 hours a day.

Considering the cost of the facilities from the fuel to the food to the drinks, absolutely everything, you would think they could afford some decent stuff. The tables inside, the tables outside, shockingly everything. Filled up with cigarettes, rubbish blowing all around the entire area. Quite frankly, needed jet washing inside and out. Don't even get me started on the toilets, they were just something else.

The most important thing is a clean toilet and a free shower. And there will be something to eat, too. Bad opinions of people? Weird....

Standard motorway services on the M4. Parking was extremely hard to find but I did find a spot. Food and service at burger king was actually really good and there were loads of seats. Coffee at Costa was a bit slow though. It's really just another small and busy motorway services, but it is one of the better ones out there.

I love stopping at Reading moto service station. Toilets clean all the time. Good choice of food courts plenty of space to sit and eat relax and move on with your journey.

Pretty tired looking now - serves it's purpose for toilets + coffee but that's about it. Parking spaces stupidly small + road layout quite bizarre. Toilets & catering sinply can't cope if more than 2 or3 coaches arrive at same time.

Everything needed but burger King tried to charge me more for a meal then what was on menu I nearly ended up with just a burger instead meal as was told.meal.was more than what I had but when looked up again it clearly said meal for less then what I had . Lady was little annoyed I said why can't I have drink and chips with my meal if on bord it says less . She then roll her eyes and then said my bad and not worry and went off and went and chatted to another staff about eye brows which I found not to be very nice was not given or shown where codements was . Felt like everything was to much trouble .

Motorway service station. As expensive as all the other motorway service stations. Petrol the price of gold.

Service station is good apart from that young girl in whsmith. Every time I go to pay for parking as I stay there in a commercial vehicle when I'm working in that area she has something smart to say or an attitude. I've tried to explain to her and she has been told by people in a higher position to take the payment. One of them time's was only yesterday and she had something smart to say again this evening. No other services in the whole of the UK has any problems apart from her.

Very dirty. Toilets not properly clean, eating areas we had to clean ourselves, baby changing room isn't big enough to fit a buggy in.

Had to queue for men’s toilet at a relatively quiet time as half were out of order. Water flow from tap to wash hand was like being urinated on by a mouse. Plenty of overpriced coffee but fails on the basics. Avoid if on the M4 westbound

Was stuck here after M4 was closed. It was initially chaotic but they sorted it out and we were able to leave via the back roads. The facilities were clean and there’s a good choice of food and snacks. Just wish there’s enough shaded areas.

It's a Motorway Services. You get what you expect... over priced petrol and goods, but handy for a loo break. Nothing more to add!

Kamran, I don’t know what country he came from, but in England he must behave in a civilized manner, communicate with people culturally if he chose the profession of a salesman. I understand that this is a profession of the lowest level, but still he serves people, and does not stand in a barn with pets. I am very surprised that services in the UK can be operated by people who are unable to communicate with people! NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS STORE. We invited the manager, she couldn’t do anything, no one even apologized for her rudeness and tactlessness. Be careful in the car prices do not correspond to real prices! I wanted to buy a toy, the price on the price tag was £2.5, but they sold it to me for £5, there is a difference, I asked to return it because the price was not correct, it was such a problem! 😲 Yeah! Service in the UK has fallen through the cracks due to the fact that they let people from uncivilized countries behind the counter. Sad! 🥲 There was also a woman standing behind the counter; she refused to give her name, although she was obliged to do so. So she is also a rude person! Be careful, avoid this store!

The nicest and cleanest MOTO in the UK I've ever visited! Spotlessly clean bathrooms and toilets, plenty of fast food and shopping outlets, washers and dryers. The most important thing - safe and calm parking! When paying with a SNAP account on the machine - then for £3 you get a voucher for £10 in a VHS store :)

I was really looking forward to having a drink with my family and dog, but was disappointed to find that the place is not pet-friendly. Additionally, the furniture was in poor condition, torn and broken, which was quite disheartening.

Its fine, exactly what you expect from a service station

I used to love stopping at motorway service stations as a kid. Some of that notion lingered on, via romantic nostalgia in me as an adult too. Well this place has cured me of that notion entirely! It is the result of my experience at this station that I will actively avoid ALL Moto services from now on. The vision of Motorway Services providing service to motorway users is long lost - drivers unfortunate enough to need to stop here are simply punters, marks, prey. Frankly, I would rather risk falling asleep at the wheel than let these shysters gouge another penny out of me. - Added in response to the reply below: I'm not upset by the prices your concessions operators charge: it's perfectly obvious that they have to charge more because of the rent you charge them. No, I'm really bloody annoyed that, driving late at night, I felt tired and did the sensible thing of pulling into your services for a rest. I dozed in the car for a while, a little over an hour, then went in to the loo and bought a coffee (there's never any hot food available after 9PM!). By the time I left, I was past your allotted 2hrs wait time and was hit with a Parking Penalty Charge. I travel extensively across Europe regularly - there is not another country in Europe that has the audacity to gouge motorists for such ridiculous fees for doing the sensible, responsible thing in having rest when driving late at night - what, after all, are rest stations for? You hardly need to manage demand since it was after midnight and the carpark was virtually empty. You are simply taking advantage exploitatively. I suggest these exploitative policies you engage in will contribute to road accidents but hey, who's going to prove anything and what do you care? So I'll say it again: I will actively avoid ALL Moto services from now on and take pleasure in knowing that you will lose more revenue each year, that I would otherwise have spent, than you gained by ripping me off by penalizing me for sensibly taking a rest and having a coffee. That said, my money has been going to franchises such as Costa, M&S and WHSmith’s and they'll be the ones to lose out as a result of your greed but again, what do you care huh? Your policies are sickening but hey, between the likes of you and the debacle of 'smart' motorways, I dread coming home and having to drive in the UK now and when I do, can't wait to get back to the continent, where it's all a bit more humane.
