Lovely brunch at Aqua Shard. Wonderful service and creative menu.

Our waiter was awesome! Provided great service, & was very knowledgeable about not only the Shard but London overall. Very friendly & it was good to talk to someone who is well traveled. Also, the Shard is my fiancé favorite restaurant on Earth now. It best out the Ocean in Singapore! Anyways, we enjoyed it very much!

We arrived early for a drink but when the greeter told us we could get a window seat if we ate early, we jumped at the offer! It was a cozy corner window table that was made for us! The view, service and food were amazing and memorable. It was a highlight of our LONDON Holiday!

We came for a special birthday and this was certainly made a very special occasion. The food was amazing, excellent service. Our waitress was superb and extremely knowledgeable. We didn't feel rushed and the birthday surprise was a wonderful touch that really made it a memorable visit. Thank you.

Amazing setting but very disappointing slow service. Waited 90 minutes after several prompts we were presented with lukewarm mediocre food. Massively massively overpriced and wouldn’t recommend. In fairness they did acknowledge it was poor and try to recify but we were fed up by then

It was everything I want to expect from such a place. On arrival, building security were very polite, respectful and helpful, the restaurant reception was first class professional, the restaurant personnel were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and professional about it. One note I would make about the attentiveness is, don't over do it, I don't need to be asked a thousand times (3 or 4 times actually, each course) whilst eating if everything is ok, ask me when you serve me a plate and again when you take it away. If a table looks like they could do with a tidy up or more drinks then, of course, it is correct to step in. Otherwise, whilst I am eating just let me eat. I would gladly eat there again, and recommend it for quality and the view.

Disappointing experience, food mediocre, management not concerned with customer satisfaction, moving parties mid dining experience. A new low. Staff requested our party change tables, before desert was served. Management attempted to apologize, however the evening was ruined for wrecking the flow of an otherwise satisfactory experience. Never again a visit or meal at Aqua, an unprofessional way to treat customers.

We were having the bar experience. The stunning view is what really made it special. Out of the 4 different cocktails we ordered, only the “Miniskirt” was proper, the rest were average. I really recommend separating a table specifically for photos!

We celebrated my birthday at Aqua Shard and Fabz made it unforgettable. He welcomed us with charm, gave amazing food tips, and had us laughing throughout the night. He even helped with photos—and made sure we got the best angle. A fabulous night.

Service wasn’t great, especially for the price and quality of the restaurant. The waiter was terrible at recommending options, didn’t like when changed the opinion about a drink and brought the wrong one. Had to wait 20 mins to get a beer.

It’s a fun experience but absolutely far too overpriced! Within 2 hours the waitresses started to rush us to clear table! For nearly £200 I didn’t feel service was upto scratch

The service was impeccable and the atmosphere perfect for our brunch-time meal. The pork chop was gristly and had a third fat. The sauce was wonderful, the starter very nice as was the dessert. Also, a second cup of coffee was not complimentary- disappointing.

Did the Peter Pan Afternoon Tea to treat the wife for our wedding anniversary. Every single member of staff were friendly and helpful, food was amazing. Couldn't fault a thing.

Hi Dear, First of all thank you for the email. I really do not understand why you are saying that I did not show up when I was there yesterday. Secondly, the chefs seemed like they didn’t know that I supposed to have a trial shift and they just give me some jobs to do that to be honest that for me was west of time as I didn’t even had the chance to use my knifes. After finish the trial, the head chef and I, we supported to have an interview which never happened as he left me waiting for him like 15 minutes. Then I went to ask the Senior Sous Chef about the Head Chef, the guy just took me out of the building. Honestly I was very confused and disappointed of this situation as I never expected from this prestigious company. I really felt discriminated from Aqua Shard and staff and I can believe you are coming to me with this email. I never expected that Aqua Shard is going to treat me like this and the employees to be that disrespectful, unreasonable and unprofessional.

Justo gave great service - very attentive. Food was perfect!

I must say that generally these super cool places lack in the quality of the food, however I must say that the courses were really good, all from the appetizer (a little skimpy), to the sorbet. Fabulous evening! Food amazing, views great , and Justo is a perfect waiter - intelligent, knowledgeable, and very attentive!

360-degree view of London, which can be stunning even if the sun isn't shining. Otherwise you are sitting blinded, if not directly by the hot star then by its reflection in the mirror columns. For people sensitive to light, this can be unbearable, especially in the afternoon when the sun comes down from its zenith and shines straight in your face. Then you pray for clouds because there are no curtains or blinds. The service was rather rude, except for our waiter, and the food was worse than average. I warn you from the bottom of my heart against the duck. I think even the waiter himself tried to warn me, but I ignored his signals. Barren dry breast of a duck that died of old age. Addition; carrot. It was supposed to be grilled but it was made from a pot. Just as nature created it, i.e. in a uniform and with a tail, the size of a little finger, in quantities of 3, for an additional 20 pounds. The prices are outrageous and completely disproportionate to the quality. We paid £540 for dinner for three people. The price included 3 dishes, 1 water, 1 cocktail and 1 tea. I suspect they also included views of London.

I took my family who came to visit me in London for dinner in aqua shard, and we all loved the whole experience Andrea and the other member of the staff assisted us in the best possible way and we all left happy. Great dinner!

Very nice place, friendly staff and good atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious, unfortunately it does not comes with any sides, wish we knew that so we could order some. The meat portions are extremely small considering the super high prices, two dishes for adults (not including sides) and 2 drinks was around 250£ with (an abusive 40£ tip) Restaurant was good, staff was very nice, prices were understandable for this view, food is absolutely delicious but disrespectful when it comes to portion size. We ended up doing what every other comment says, and that was to look for another restaurant to eat normal portions, as we we're obviously hungry. Would not return or recommend.

The food was a mixed bag. The starter would have been a nice asparagus soup but had odd pickled bits in it that didn't go. It was a dish that was trying too hard to be different/unique but just didn't taste right - the most important thing. I enjoyed the beef fillet, although the veg that accompanied it was a barely there puree - it needed a real side of vegetables. The Baked Alaska was the worst I've had. Maybe because they didn't flame the outside at the table so the middle remained hard and cold. Flavours didn't work. All a bit disappointing. Additionally, my friend was unwell, and had a medical condition that meant he required a lot of water and some salt. They were really particular about not having a jug of water on the table.... Eventually, they agreed - we were lucky my friend didn't faint. They were all very nice but they do need training in how to adapt when there is a serious issue.

Best thing about our experience was the fantastic service from Aldrich! Good drinks. Unfortunately the rest doesn’t live up to the hype. $200 for 2 people, 1 glass of champagne each, 1 drink each, not memorable chefs selection appetizer platter.

We had received a Gift voucher from our sons for our Wedding Anniversary. It was the most perfect and beautiful evening out in London. the table was immaculately set, the service was discreet, perfectly timed and immaculate. Fabio was looking after us and we couldn't have asked for a better person. The food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Had a lovely evening at Aqua Shard celebrating our 32nd Anniversary and our twin boys' 25th birthday. The food and wine was divine but the wine was ridiculously overpriced and sadly our table had a column that interrupted the view, which was also impacted by lowering the blinds during sunset. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly and we had a nice surprise celebratory dessert dish at the end.

I really enjoyed the Aquashard experience, 6 of us had lunch on sunny London afternoon and it didn't disappoint! The service was professional (yet as friendly as you'd like ), the food choices were great (some dishes could have been a little hotter) but all in all it didn't spoil our enjoyment of our special lunch. It just feels like a special experience with impressive views all around. I would highly recommend it, and I would go again. 🥰👍🥂Even the toilet has a view!

Dissapointing. It's all for the view. Service quality was poor boardering on arrogant and nonchalant. Slow, unprofessional and false. Only drinking non-alcoholic drinks and sparking water was niether offered with ice or lemon. Both asked for and then asked for again before finally arriving. Quality of food is good but not worth it. Additionally, extremely dark at the table meaning torches from phones are needed to read menus.

Loved it! Highly recommend to anyone. Although, please do replace some of your equipment on the Peter Pan afternoon tea. The ship was broken, and the treasure box with sweets in had sharp staples coming out of it.

A bit overcrowded, very low light, spectacular views, choice of sittings, DELICIOUS food on the menu. The waiter suddenly started whispering to my ear saucy compliments- I complained immediately, the chap was removed, hopefully for good. Zero tolerance to abusing customers! I am glad that the manager responded.

The window seat was spectacular and the service from Justo was fantastic! This was a definite highlight moment of my first trip to London. I am so glad I splurged to enjoy the amazing sunset view! Worth every penny!

I had family visiting London but had a slight delay so we made the reservation very last minute . The Aqua team went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a small "Happy Birthday" dessert during our Peter Pan afternoon tea experience. When we arrived the reception staff asked who's the birthday boy/girl and immediately said happy birthday which gave us a warm surprise. I was actually prepared that they might have overlooked the remark I made during the online reservation (just a few hours ahead) so I was really chuffed. Service was attentive, staff were cheerful, food were really tasty and portions very generous. The only tiny issue we had is that the presentation of the food, despite looking decent and attractive, was a bit unfriendly for a group of four. The food were placed beside our table, and they didn't provide a pair of small tongs or something for us to take the food so it was a bit messy when we tried to distribute the food across the table. The overall experience was very pleasant and I'd definitely recommend.

We went to AquaShard for afternoon tea to celebrate our 50th birthdays. It was a great afternoon. We did not feel rushed and the views were amazing! The Peter Pan tea was delicious and we particularly liked the boat that the cakes were served on.

Utterly disappointed!!! Where do I start… firstly the windows in the restaurant are so dirty it’s hard to appreciate the view as we booked a window table for our 10year anniversary. Our anniversary was not acknowledged at all,we felt rushed despite it stated the table is for 2hours and we stayed just over an hour as the waiter kept hurrying us up. All other customers who booked normal seating kept surrounding us to take photos of the sunset and this felt intrusive as we wanted a little privacy during our meal. The food was pretty good but experience was awful!!!! Your not looked after, they just want your money and you out of the door as fast as possible Never again!! This was a very special evening and you have ruined it for us, thanks, Glenn.

Having booked for lunch we were given the a la carte menu (website states this is for evening dining) and not provided with the more reasonably priced set menu which includes several options. We were given the £35 menu also, but there was no vegetarian option. I queried if there was a set menu for vegetarians - there wasn’t despite veggie options on the lunchtime set menu that we weren’t offered. This is still advertised on their website. Just not available on arrival. My children ordered from the £35 menu and I ordered from the Al a carte as no other option! The waiter then had to check if it was possible for us to order from 2 different menus which was a little uncomfortable. Food was delicious. When the bill came the children’s meals were £50 (advertised as £35 on the menu, but menu no longer on the table). As a single parent I didn’t feel confident to challenge the bill. We’d aleeway ordered tap water which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. We didn’t have our glasses refilled for the duration of our lunch despite having empty glasses. I paid the bill £240. Includes 15% tip. Card reader then asks if you want to leave a tip (despite me already paying a £34 tip!! On the way out there were menus and I could see the price was £35. I said to the lady on the desk I’d been over charged. She then got a manager over. I felt very uncomfortable. It took 10-15 minutes of me standing there for them to confirm it was there error I’d been over billed by £30 and for them to sort out a refund. I explained we were now cutting it fine to get to the theatre on time. But it still took ages. He did apologise, but no cocktail removed from my bill as a gesture of good will. There is no set menu for £50 and I was given no explanation as to how the mistake happened. SO CHECK YOUR BILL. I emailed to let them know my experience. There is only the reservations email address. She said she’d forwarded it to management. I have since chased twice and no reply. I gave trash this in other reviews too. All in all the view was fantastic. The food delicious, but the service was poor. The after service is attrotious. I spent over £200 on lunch and left feeling very disappointed and uncomfortable. We won’t be going back.

We were a party of 4 adults plus an infant under one year old. The staff could not have been more accommodating and very friendly. The seating arrangement was perfect for our party. The food was terrific and the overall experience was unforgettable. Thank you all at Team AquaShard.

We went for a Peter Pan theme it was my husband’s birthday upon arrival we were greeted and seated we had the view of Tower of London and the Thames and all the famous landmarks. Peter Pan theme was fun we had an option of vegetarian and pescatarian which was ok the mocktails were a bit sharp the Darjeeling tea was nice we also had a fruity one which was ok. For such a famous and busy restaurant shocked to see only 2 ladies toilets we had to queue to use them there were families with young children who we had to let go first to use the toilets and mens toilets were the same only 3 urinals and 2 toilets and the corridors to get to the toilets was very dark I had to use my phone torch to see which door to go in to. The location of the restaurant is amazing and that’s what makes it special. The staff were friendly.

Very interesting good view delicious drinks and tasty food

Esperienza indimenticabile. Ho fatto il brunch insieme a mia figlia e l’esperienza è stata fantastica. Intanto la location è pazzesca, con questa vista panoramica sulla città, arredi di design, bagno super curato e grandissimo sempre con vista super panoramica. Le portate squisite, dall’ antipasto al dolce, sapientemente suggerite da Jacopo che ha mostrato costantemente attenzione al nostro benessere. Ultimo giorno a Londra allo Shard è stato il modo migliore di salutare la città.

Il panorama da lassù è qualcosa di atipico. Non capita tutti i giorni di cenare su un grattacielo con la vista su tower bridge al tramonto. Il personale è molto cordiale soprattutto il nostro cameriere Joese dalla Spagna con simpatia. Il cibo è buono certo non è economico ma è un’esperienza da fare
