My friends & I had a fabulous time yesterday for the Peter Pan afternoon tea at The Aqua The Shard. Food was excellent & so were all staff especially Danielle on the Aqua reception, she couldn't of been more friendly, helpful & so so welcoming, we will definately be going again. Thank you.

Have been here before and still like the vibe. We were attended to immediately and everyone enjoyed their time. Quiet enough to have a conversation.

We visited London several times now. We always go to a high end restaurant while we are visiting. Yesterday we decided to go to Aquashard. For the views and culinairy experience, so we booked a window table. But it was disappointing. First of all, people with training gear, shorts and sportshoes where everywhere. While eating people where standing between our table and the next one to take pictures. The food was okay but not really spectacular. We ordered bread and olives. The olives were basic and nothing special. Bread was warm and delicious. But the appetizer came right at the same time. Come on, let us enjoy our bread and olives first. The appetizers tasted nice. On making the reservation I said that we don’t eat pork, the waitress was not aware of this. She should know these things! When the waitress came to get our empty plates from the appetizer, which were sitting there empty for at least 20 min, I told her not to rush with the main course. We like to take our time. She panicked, left the empty plates, said nothing, and ran off, probably to the kitchen, because maybe the main course was already on the way. The main course was tasteful, especially the beef. We were not impressed with the lamb. The desert was a joke. I am sorry, but it was. If you don’t like chocolate, there is nothing for you. Just the custard, which was tasteless. All and all the food was okay at most, but we expected so much more from this! Especially with these prices. Then we got the bill, which had a discretionary service charge Of 15% on it. Which came down to almost 75£. The service was not worth that at all. But nobody will discuss that while getting the bill that would be just rude. We had to call the waitress so many times just to get a drink, or get our empty glasses removed. At one point we had 7! empty glasses on the table and nobody bothered to come and get them. We had to ask somebody to do this. This is not what you expect from an establishment like this. For me Aqua felt like a tourist scam. Nice for a picture but not for the food or the service. I cant imagine that without the location this restaurant would maintain. Overall this is not a high end restaurant like advertised. Learned my lesson. Wish you all the best.

Booked dinner here and first impressions were good . Welcome was great and our waiter was very friendly,professional and knowledgeable about the food . The view over London is fantastic and we were lucky to get a sunset and then the lights of London. In terms of food ,both of us ordered the steak . Now this is where I find the price level an issue - the steak was good , well cooked (although we did both order medium rare and they were not the same ) . Was the steak worth £65 - no it wasn’t ! Sides were extra - £8 I think for broccoli! It just felt that you were really paying for the name and the view and whilst we could not fault the way the food was presented it was just overpriced. Pure and simple ! We did enjoy our night here but the £320 bill was a bit much . However, we have now eaten at the Shard so a tick off the bucket list I suppose . As a last add my husband commented his pre theatre 3 course for £25 the night before was his best meal of the weekend. Oh well ! You live and learn .

An anniversary, we were allocated a decent table with a view. It was their new live jazz night. Decent cocktails. Seated on time. Ordered olives n bread and wine. Wine arrived promptly but waited almost an hour for the bread and olives? Similar wait for our starters. The food was good, as others have said small portions but they were cooked well. Service however was chaotic, not particularly friendly, and the venue noisy which truly spoiled the ambience of live jazz. Wines are ludicrously priced. A bottle of water appeared on our table that we later discovered we’d paid £7 for. We did mention our disappointment at the extreme delay in delivery of food and taking orders and they deducted the cost of the wine, which went a little way to making it feel less of a touristy rip off. Our final total was in excess of £250 - it really needs to be better.

Food was amazing, service was very good and ambience/views were brilliant.

I think for paying the price you pay you expect the food to be better, even more to my surprise that we had to pay extra for my mum, being a coeliac, to have a gluten free pudding which apparently isn’t part of the deal. Lovely views obviously and waiting staff are friendly.

We felt the food was very overpriced for what you were served. Also that you had to pay extra for sides when you've already paid £120pp. We were also advised to buy sides per person when there was actenough for 2.

We knew before going it is one of those restaurants you go hungry and leave hungry and poorer, but there was no excuse for the quality of food there. The menu didn’t offer many options and 3 out of the 5 dishes we ordered didn’t taste nice. Also, we were excited to get the shard desert but that was also very disappointing. The service was okay and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would advise to just go for drinks and the view.

Not 100% positive experience. Excellent quality dishes, both in terms of taste and presentation! Fabulous environment to say the least! The only sore point is the service. Very helpful waiters, but we had arrived early for an aperitif and had to wait 20 minutes to receive our drink, only to be instantly moved to the table where we were supposed to have dinner. Later one of the diners received the fillet with the wrong cooking and in practice we had to eat at different times. I understand that these are circumstances that can happen, but certain situations, if you go to a place like aquashard, which has very high standards and costs, these shortcomings are not tolerated, especially in important events. I want to think that it was just luck and that normally things work much better

As soon as we arrived we were hustled. This is essentially a fast food restaurant with white linen cloth. Three times we were asked to immediately place our order by the waiter his boss and his boss's boss.. No matter how many times we told them that we would like to have our drink before we order they would not relent. Go to McDonald's instead this is not a romantic dinner.

The food was exception, but the best part of my experience at Aqua was Michael that I attended to us. He made sure we were comfortable, satisfied. My friend was running late, Michael worked with me on when to place order for food to be ready same time my friend arrived. He gave good recommendation on the menu. I would recommend anyone going to Aqua to request for Michael to serve them.

We had quite a rude waiter when we sat down . It took a long time for us to be asked what we would like to eat or drink. I had to ask for a wine menu. The food was very hot and being English we waited until the end to complain, only to be told we should have said something earlier , which might have been easier if there was someone who was being attentive to us! All in all not a very good experience for a meal which was very expensive and meant to be an anniversary treat .

We came for the Peter Pan afternoon tea for my friends 30th birthday, the staff were amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious and one of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had, such a good experience and definitely worth it!

Arrived early, seated straight away. Bit squashed as a table literally right in front of ours. Had to notify staff I was veggie even though I’d done it when booking. Daughters brought on the Peter Pan clock mine was just 4 sandwiches and a croquette on a plate. Was told an aubergine item would come, never did. Pudding brought on the ship, for some reason ours continually leaked water and staff had to keep mopping it up, not exactly the high standard you expect for the price. No tinkerbell cookies with ours unlike all of those around us and by the end there was no room on our little table. It wasn’t worth the £70 each and certainly not worth the 15% service charge on top.

Very nice views over the City but very expensive set menu for what it was and certainly nothing ‘to write home about’. I also strongly objected to the 15% service charge being added automatically. Who does it go to? Admittedly this is optional but to add it to your bill at those prices 15% is a rip off. I had it taken off and tipped our waiter personally which to me is how it should be done if you consider you have had good service.

Treated my wife for her birthday, the service was amazing from start to finish ,food & presentation was also amazing along with the atmosphere, most importantly the waiter service from Ricardo was 10/10 .... THANK YOU Ricardo !!!

Advertising suggested a view of London Bridge and you paid extra for the window table- we were placed in a corner on the other side - our table was in the sun the whole time. Very disappointed

Party of 5, we truly enjoyed our time at Aqua Shard. We were served by Riccardo, who did a great job, ensuring we were comfortable.

View was awesome and our server was awesome. Food was ok in general. We only have one favorite per course.

Sergio is very helpful and good waiter.

We had an incredible work luncheon in the private dining room in the Shard. The space was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the service by Sergio was exceptional; he looked after us very well. We'll be back.

Afternoon tea was nice but a bit expensive as was the drinks I don’t expect to pay £7.50 for bottle of water that we thought was included in the price or wasn’t told it was extra before having it .

We had a lovely experience however the music playing was very loud and we had to ask for it to be turned down as we could hear each other talk.

Yesterday, we attended a couples' dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I made the reservation, and we were surprised by the selection of food offered. For example, the starter was a beef tartare (we don't eat raw meat and no alternative was offered). In the main menu, the pumpkin ravioli was cold and dry. Considering the price of 350 GBP, it really wasn't worth it.

The views and service were amazing. The food was great (a little over cooked) but delicious. The 3 course meal cost £300 for 2 people when I would have put it around £120 for 2 people.

The atmosphere and view were wonderful. The main course was a beautiful presentation, but mediocre at best, as the fish was overcooked. They did amazing to accommodate my dairy allergy with dessert though. This is definitely a one time visit for us.

The restaurant is lucky enough to be at the top of a skyscraper with views across the city of London, but otherwise it's nothing special. The dishes are good and elaborate, but coming from Italy the quality and flavors are of an average restaurant..... The worst thing, however, is booking and having to wait 30 minutes at the bar for a table, terrible service to say the least, with little customer care (if I was English you would hear me complain after 10 minutes, I can guarantee it 🤣) Let me start by saying that I was there during the Christmas period so it's different during the year.

What was good - Excellent views across London. Great location. Generally, good atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Efficient service. Quality and taste of food was very good. What I didn't like - Had to ask for the correct menu, even though the hostess had confirmed our menu choice on arrival. A main course should come with all components, not just the protein choice. Sides should be additional extras for those choosing more, not to complete a main. Otherwise, a main course is not a complete course. One doesn't choose a side order of ice cream, for example, on a desert dish where ice cream is a part of the dish. Service charge automatically added to the bill. Choosing to reward a server for the service provided is a personal choice and one I like to do. However, I like to decide myself on the percentage, based on the service. I dislike the decision made for me. I don't like the awkwardness of asking for a charge to be removed or reduced. Which, I believe is the restaurant's intention. Conversely, if the service has been exceptional, I may choose a higher percentage. Either way, I think the choice should be made by the customer in a way that doesn't create an awkward moment that somewhat mars a lovely evening and impacts on the atmosphere.

Service was poor. Had issues with getting the correct tea 3 times, food was poorly presented and also the taste was below average. Would of rather of made my own sandwhiches and cakes. Presentation was poor, nothing like they advertise on social media! Wouldn’t recommended and won’t be visiting, also put me off trying a restraunt at the shard if the afternoon tea is that poor!!!

We went there for my husband birthday. Absolutely everything was as I was hoping and expecting to be. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for making our day special.

We had a wonderful visit. Thank you. The view, the decor, the ambience, the view, the food, the service.....did I say the view? :) Everything was outstanding. The thoughtful touch of a little chocolate delight as it was our 40th Anniversary was so lovely. And may we commend Michael, our server. His friendly manner and extremely professional approach - as well as his photo skills, make him an asset to your team and we would like to thank him especially for being the icing on the cake of our whole visit.

Celebrated my 60th with friends, had the afternoon tea for 4, experience was fantastic, but was shocked with the service charge !!

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Shard Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance and panoramic views of London were absolutely mesmerizing. Went with friends for the Peter Pan afternoon tea. The view is amazing the staff very attentive. Though the food was tasty but what equates to 2 mini tarts 2 finger sandwiches 2 mini scones a shot glass trifle and a couple of mini cakes and a coffee each doesn't warrant over £300. I could of gone to a restaurant for a full meal for that.

Bit disappointed that the supplement on some dishes was pointed out to us, we can read it felt a little like we might not be able to afford it… make it clearer if it’s missed for some people. Unfortunately we were seated where the water bottles are kept this then is a hub for the staff to catch up… the cheese option on desert was really disappointing. One type of cheese meh…. 2 grapes… meh

We went for the sunset menu on the evening of England’s world cup final. The red mullet however tasted very weird. We did not think anything of it at that moment, as it is known to be an acquired taste. But nevertheless, it did not agree with us later on. Expected higher standards from such a highly rated venue.

We had vegan afternoon tea with a beautiful view. Dylan, our waiter, made this afternoon tea a true experience.

My wife took me for my birthday. The table we sat at was very nice. The service was good. The view was magnificent. The afternoon tea menu is very successful.

Wasn't a great day to pick for the Shard, being a rainy day views weren't great. Food was average i would say had the 3 course meal with starter and dessert platter and entree of choice, could do with few more options for starters. Portions are small. I was a little disappointed as my favourite scarf was misplaced in the cloak room and i did not get it back:(. Would appreciate a discount coupon for my next visit.

It was absolutely Devine! The food, the atmosphere everything!

Absolutely awful experience. Set dinner for two @£120.00 each yet had to pay supplements for vegetables. Potato mash £9, Carrots £9. Waiter was getting far too close pointing out the dish. I don't want a waiters hands so close to my food. Asked to order drinks and he said he would get someone over. 10 minutes later no show so had to complain. Whilst the food itself was nice, the service and atmosphere was awful. Got the bill, 2 rolls @ £6.50 each and still water £7.50 - wasn't even a bottle so for all I know, 2 glasses of tap water which weren't even topped up. Ordered a fillet steak and the waiter poured all of the gravy over the dish without asking me first. In hindsight, should have called over the manager and got the water, rolls and £15 service charged taken off the bill. Was mine and my wife's birthday treat - extremely disappointing. Certainly wouldn't recommend Aqua Shard - a complete rip-off.

The cuisine is elevated British in a stylish and romantic setting. Try the window table menu, you won’t be disappointed. Michael was an excellent server!

I am writing to bring to your attention a few concerns regarding my experience during last night's mixed dinner at your restaurant. First and foremost, I would like to commend Jorge, our waiter, for his excellent service throughout the evening. However, I must address a significant issue that unfortunately overshadowed our dining experience. Upon receiving my chicken dish, I discovered a hair in the food. Although the restaurant attempted to make amends by offering us desserts, I believe that such a serious hygienic incident warrants a different form of compensation. The dinner was a special occasion, as it was my mother’s birthday. To be completely honest, the presence of hair in my dish significantly impacted the atmosphere of our night. When the waiter brought a replacement (hair-free) chicken plate, I was further disappointed when he suggested that I was mistaken and that there had been no hair in the original dish. Both my family and I clearly saw the hair, and I have photographic evidence to support this. I would prefer not to post a review with photographic evidence of this incident, as I believe that a direct resolution with your team is the more appropriate approach. Instead, I urge you to find a compromise and see how you can compensate me for the dissatisfaction and disruption caused. It was a really special occasion that was marked by this incident, and we want to be able to speak highly of your restaurant. I look forward to hearing the outcome of this situation.

It was amazing; we got the table with the best view. Taking orders and delivering food to the table took longer, and I had to look for the waiters. But none the less,, it was a great evening, will come again

Great service, Momo our waiter was super nice and made sure everything was ok. The view was breath-taking, the food was great but the cocktail sizes were just too small given the price and description in the menu. Other than that everything was great.

We booked this table as a special birthday treat. I had called earlier in the day to arrange a birthday plate after dinner for our friend. When we arrived at the restaurant our table was not ready so we were sat in the bar area which was fine, we were then asked if we wanted to have our meal in the bar area which I thought was strange and we declined and waited for our table. We were sat down shortly after and I felt quite rushed to be honest. When our food came for the majority of us it was good but the 2 people that ordered the fish said it was very overcooked, also the jus was missing from my lamb and was brought as I finished my meal. The birthday plate never turned up and we felt like they wanted us to leave. Its a real shame as we have visited a couple of times before and have enjoyed it very much.

Very disappointed in our visit. Waiters had too many tables to serve and couldn’t keep up with orders. Food was nice but no exceptional - drinks and service charge were far too high ££££. Certainly won’t be returning

Unfortunately, despite prior reservations, we were assigned a seat where one person was either looking into a mirror or frontally into the face of an individual sitting opposite. The place was hot and loud, there was no pleasant atmosphere to speak of and certainly no 360 degree view. The chicken was apparently cooked, dry and the skin was flaky. The fish is salted and bathed in a sauce. Although we therefore skipped dessert, everything was charged to us and no doggy bag was offered despite three requests. Recommendation: Don't go.

We did afternoon tea! This was an awesome experience and I would fully recommend this to anyone visiting London. My 4 stars it is mainly due to the fact that the tea pots were full of water marks in the outside and not shiny at all as if they have not been properly cleaned.

My step mum and I loved our Peter Pan Afternoon Tea! The service was wonderful, the food was superb and the view was stunning! Thank you so much for making our day out to London so special.

What an experience in a Peter Pan Afternoon tea! 🫖 🧚‍♀️ If you want to do tea properly in the UK - this a great place to go with wonderful tea, cocktails, 🍹 food and treats to enjoy along an excellent view! 🏙️ Even the bathrooms give you a great view of the skyline! They were also able to accommodate a vegetarian and meat eater at the same table. 🌱 🍖 I would recommend booking early and recommend the special tea that goes with the experience. You can easily pair this with an activity as the Shard is so close to major hotspots in London! Also, feel free to bring a pan hat if this makes the experience cooler. 😎🧚‍♀️

It was a wonderful experience. The views of London are beautiful espeacially at night. The service was excellent. I was unimpressed by the food as I found the starter and main course too salty, and also underwhelming for the type of restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went to Aquashard last week to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing experience! We had window seats and the view of London was incredible! Kevin, our server, was very informative and was very attentive, which we greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend coming here for a special occasion.

It's too noisy and feel like I'm in a marketplace.

The food was not great, we found it to be bland and not worth the price paid. there are so much better places to eat around London where you can get the the full dining experience, that's worth every penny. We found the music quite irritating. The service was great but the waiters could be more presentable.

Spent a fantastic day in the Shard which culminated in a meal at Aqua-Shard. Great meal with an amazingly beautiful view of the city at sunset. Everyone there was lovely and really wanted us to have a great time, especially our waiter, Riccardo, who couldn't have done more to make the experience very special.

We were welcomed from the moment we got out of our taxi until we left. Perfect. Food amazing and our waiter Fabio was so attentive. We had the very best time. We were made to feel individually special. Thank you ❤️

Food hugely over priced and bang average, cocktails weak and spenny, if it wasn’t for service being great it would be a 2 - view stunning though

The steak tartare is a must. Our waiter, Michael was helpful. The cheese board is average, however, hands down it's a must do when in London!!

Hi, I have no words for atmosphere and service is too good and one of the staff member name is Riccardo is good with costumer and I am very happy for services and food as well.

Have an opportunity to dine at Aqua while a short stay in London. The service is excellent. the food is fine too but not what they claimed 'fine dinning' experience. The atmosphere is good. but with the reflection of the window glass it is hard to take good photos. In the toilet, all windows are covered to blocked the view. May be for privacy on the 31st floor. It is a pity.

WAITER THREW THE MENU AT ME!!!! The initial waiter our table had received seemed to have been irritated from the get go. Being invited as a guest to a rather large party of people we had the ala carte menu. When it was my turn to order I only wanted a starter because I was not that hungry. The waiter tried to explain that there was a policy to order a main and a side or we would be physically moved to the bar (even though it’s not written anywhere explicitly on the menu). After trying to explain it to the others at the table the policy, he became frustrated and completely disregarded our friend when they were in the middle of talking to him. He then came back to my side of the table and THREW THE MENU at me on my plate, ROLLED HIS EYES, and walked away angrily. Although the manager and the trainee waiter, Michael, were very polite and accommodating afterwards, it really ruined the experience as it was a celebratory dinner. It was disappointing that I received a better service experience at a fast food joint than an upscale restaurant at the Shard. Anyways, if you want an actual pleasant and respectful waiter during your meal ask for Michael and not the other man that looks like he hates being alive.

Our experience at Aqua shard is one of my fondest memories as it was made pleasant by Ricardo who went above and beyond to ensure he catered to our every need. It was our first time so he kindly explained everything and remained positive and super approachable during each interaction. Thank you Ricardo for an amazing experience.

Excellent service and atmosphere, incredible food and location, amazing experiance the Peter Pan Aftenoon tea, very afordable for the quantity of product provided and well accommodated.

One of our party was dairy intolerant, the booking and menu states that they have alternative options on the menu however unfortunately their was none. It only catered for vegetarian guests. If you was Dairy intolerant, gluten free or vegan items were removed from the main meals and they were unable to offer any alternatives. Service is good upstairs once you get past the miserable bouncers!! They ask you to arrive 15 minutes early but then they don’t allow you to enter!!

Micheal was our server for tonight and he was excellent. He walked us through the entire course with professionalism and ease. Overall, excellent experience. 🙏🔥

Aqua Shard was absolutely amazing! I took my daughter there for the Peter Pan-themed high tea, and it exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was delightful, with stunning views, perfect for a memorable experience. The food was the highlight—there were so many delicious options to choose from, each beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From savory bites to sweet treats, everything was meticulously prepared and tasted divine. The Peter Pan theme added a whimsical touch that my daughter especially loved, making it not just a meal but a magical adventure. The service was excellent too, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, Aqua Shard delivered an unforgettable high tea experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special culinary treat in London. Only change I would request is a better tequila selection.

We had Peter Pan themed afternoon tea to celebrate my sister's special birthday. They presented her with a little cake as well as a little bit of chocolate with Happy Birthday piped on it. Little bit of thoughtfulness that meant such a lot. Food presented beautifully and our waitress very friendly and attentive. All in all a fantastice experience. Thank you all x
