Well our first visit here and they didn't disappoint! The food was excellent, plenty of choice, large portions, the customer service was excellent. Lovely courtyard outside. Atmosphere was relaxing, staff had time to chat to their customers, was accommodating and it was lovely to have a chat with the owner Danielle. Cannot fault anything, Thank you to the staff for making our visit an enjoyable one.

We’re regulars at Antlers. This time I had scrambled egg on toast. I say ‘egg’ as I’m sure there was only 1 on 2 pieces of bread. Tiny portion. Coffee’s great tho’.

A business which I’d love to share this morning The Antlers Coffee House At Abbots Bromley A gorgeous country drive out between the two villages this place is special to us as i have such a romantic take to tale about it 😂 We first came across it after visiting one lunchtime on a gorgeous sunny day when we first met. It has a really beautiful garden out the back where we enjoyed coffee and a cake and noticed they did a B and B above the coffee shop. Being the spontaneous dudes we are we decided to book a nights stay the next day (and lazy as we live 15 mins away) and take advantage of the surrounding pubs and enjoy the Antlers full English the next day The next evening it chucked it down and we enjoyed a really romantic pub crawl as drowned rats but a fantastic nights stay and breakfast curtesy of Danielle and team with amazing local produce So this morning we decided to go for another date before work. And we had their homemade Yorkshire wraps smothered with gravy for breakfast because we can and because that’s how we roll It’s a must visit

Antlers started off so well a couple of years ago. Alas, since the owner's maternity leave in the summer it has plummeted to the depths. We waited 45 minutes or more for 2 veggie breakfasts and on enquiring how much longer they would be were told by the very disengaged young man waiting on, that it took much longer for vegetarian food to be cooked. I had been offered a choice of egg style and opted for poached. What came out was an egg clearly fried in water. Obviously the cook had no idea how to poach an egg. It was watery and unpleasant. Burned to a crisp veggie bacon, disintegrating hash brown ... I could go on and on. We are local and there were other customers so I tried to say quietly to the waiter that it was not great to be met, as with another reviewer, with a very bland and slightly sardonic reply: "sorry about that". We have tried to support the business, which has mostly been okay, but we won't be going again, or recommending it, until things change. It even looks sad now, out of hours, with blinds carelessly dropped at night. What a shame.

We are regular visitors to Antlers and have previously enjoyed our breakfasts. Today we were served cold food. I mentioned it at the counter and received a bland ‘Sorry about that” from the male staff member. I asked if my comments would be passed on, “Yes” was the reply. £17.90 for 2 small, cold breakfasts!!! Just not good enough.

Im sorry - this the 4th and last time I will eat here - waited 10 minutes for a table and a further 15 minutes for our order to be taken - we were then informed food would take a further 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our drinks arrived and after another 15 minutes - so did the food - shocking quality - terrible service.

Visited just to get a coffee, I also had a look at the cake display and there was a variety to pick from. The cakes are to die for and the coffee is lovely. The coffee shop itself is beautifully decorated, plenty of indoor and outdoor seats to sit at. I visited on a warm day so sat outside, really peaceful! I’d definitely recommend visiting here if you’re a local or visiting the area. The staff are lovely, friendly and polite 😊

Today was my first visit and I was very disappointed with the Ploughmans Platter. The ham was a very small end piece with 90% fat which I would not give to my dog. The tiny pieces of bread were hard and appeared to be stale. The cheese was hard and tasteless. However the pork pie was edible. I would have complained in the cafe, but we were taken there by a family member. Needless to say, will not be going there again

Great to see a business try a different offer in this rural village which has 4 pubs as it’s main hospitality. Thursday-Saturday it turns into a cute ‘wine bar’ with wines and bottled beers. Plus lite bites ‘tapas’ style. Plus it has speciality cocktails. Kir Royal and Espresso Martini when we paid a visit.

We will definitely go back as we live locally . I note the person’s that only gave three stars in April because of the ie long wait , if you want a quick service without friendly staff, go to McDonalds who will give you you that but in sure you know that

We’d like to thank Danielle and her team for such a wonderful time today. We hosted our daughters christening at Antlers and it was amazing from start to finish. Danielle was extremely accommodating closing for the afternoon so we could have the private function. The food and service were excellent and the cake she made was just brilliant and delicious. I cannot recommend them enough, it was absolutely fabulous. Thanks so much.

There is a good atmosphere, and the food is really lovely. Nothing is too much trouble, and we look forward to returning again shortly.

Very poor meal, Ham salad looked like someone put a bag of lettuce from the supermarket and a bit of very cheap ham. Bread roll inedible. When I mentioned to server, got a blank look and “do you want another roll” No I wanted a decent ham salad. Clearly no qualified chef or staff with any responsibility. Don’t bother eating here. Waste of money.

We visited Willows (previously Tutbury Tearooms) for lunch. There was a good selection of meals, snacks and drinks on the menu, although there didn’t seem to be a children’s menu. The cafe was comfortable and nicely decorated. The food was nice, but very expensive. £9.75 for a jacket potato with cheese (plus £1.50 for each additional topping) is far too much!!! My son had two potato waffles with grated cheese and baked beans, which cost £9.99!!! We left feeling negative due to this and are unlikely to return.

Being back in Burton for another pub crawl we thought we would look this place up again for probably the last time as it is due to close at the end of October in an act of complete vandalism by Molson Coors, showing a total lack of respect for brewing history by planning to redevelop the site for offices. Have these people no morals or respect? Clearly not. As for the tap room and restaurant itself, it’s a fairly sterile corporate affair but at least the hanging pub signs in the restaurant section does try and give it a bit of character. And in my experience the bar staff serving behind the bar have always given the impression that they are suffering for their profession and would rather be somewhere else. Although cannot comment on the food as we have never eaten here and again were only here for the tap bar bit, but can certainly pass judgement on the ale and in that respect the beer was very good, but then you would expect it to be as it is the official tap bar for the Heritage Brewery, embedded in the National Brewery Centre next door, and they don’t have to travel very far. The Tap bar has six hand pumps and for our visit these were dispensing the Heritage Brewery Masterpiece IPA, Heritage Gold, Charrington IPA and Oatmeal Stout as well as Draught Bass and Elgood black dog on as a guest. I went for the Oatmeal Stout. It is not one of the best tap rooms I have ever visited, but it is probably one of the most famous, so I will be very sad to see it go, if this act of vandalism is allowed to proceed by the local council and the local MP. If it is then the very soul of Burton on Trent will go with it.
