Angies riverside cafe in Harrogate

Propper friendly little sports bar with John Smiths, clean, well-kept toilets, lovely staff. No food but the usual crisps and nuts. Later on, they had karaoke. Easy to walk to from car park. All on one level, no steps and there is a beer garden.

Good for sport but very expensive drinks!

Never had any issues ordering a double shot decaf Cortado from any costa Café until today (Saturday 15 Feb 2025). I was met with an awkward attitude by staff named Emma who said no I can't have that ordered in a rather rude and improfessional way. Also the toilet wasn't clean, cistern not flushing and hairdryer not working. This way below usual costa standards.

Mediocre service - the two baristas were too busy with their own conversation to pay much attention to the customers. Coffee machine was set too high, scalding the coffee. No toast available.

Disappointing couple of visits recently, poor ambiance, no one seems to be in charge or responsible. High prices should be supported by top service. Very quiet, beautiful place, shame
