Dropped in on a Tuesday evening - Acoustic Night. Initially disappointed as the music not Blues, but atmosphere and some of the live music acts were ace! Nice beers, decent service. Central location. Great evening venue!

We enjoyed a candlelight tapas evening in The Green room upstairs, cosy high back booths mean you can really kick back and relax whilst still enjoying the ambiance and live music from downstairs! The cocktails were great I enjoyed a few ‘Yorkshire sunrises’ and the hubby said his pints of Estrella were the best he’d had in quite a while too! Will definitely be back when we visit Harrogate again - Thanks guys!!

Booked a table for 8 o’clock and arrived at 8 o’clock to be told we couldn’t be seated as no tables were available... not sure what the point is in having a booking system if they don’t have time slots for diners!! We were told we could wait outside but could be an hour .... sort it out Blues Bar!!!!!

Booked a table on their Website got a confirmation email 10 minutes later got a call to say we couldn't be accommodated you need to sort your website out.

Great atmosphere, service, beer and music. It has it all if you like the blues. Easy to find near Harrogate centre.

Great place for live bands, if you like blues. Good selection of real ales, and served quickly in spite of the large amount of customers

This is the place myself and my partner go to when we have a night off from the babies! Not very often but as soon as a date night is suggested first thing said is “blues?” Amazing cocktails, amazing attentive bartender and he knows absolutely everything about what he sells, can do off menu cocktails if you like so there’s always something to try. Lots of gins with perfectly matched tonics and fruits (my partner is partial to a gin!) and will tell you the best way to enjoy them. Can’t wait to return! (I’m an ex-cocktail/gin bartender and he really puts me to shame🤦🏼‍♀️)

Introduced to this place whilst on the Harrogate Food Tour. The taster food was so good we went back for a meal that evening. Huge portions but, more importantly, fabulous quality of meats and dishes. Truly scrumptious. Would 100% recommend.

Evening out visited the bar there was a rock band on it was very full to the point where you couldn't move couldn't get to the bar so we left

This place is a gem! We always come to the blues bar downstairs for free live music when visiting Harrogate to then find the tapas upstairs this time - got a romantic booth in the window and the food was awesome !! Well done wish we had something like this in Newcastle 🤗

The Green Room above the Blues Bar serves very tasty & reasonably priced tapas - some great flavours - friendly efficient service - what’s not to like???

Been before downstairs and didn’t know there was a Gin bar upstairs - wow good skeleton different guns and knowledgeable staff made it very interesting. The tapas we had were delicious and a nice variety.

Came here on a Friday evening and enjoyed a terrific live band playing some excellent music. Good beer too. The place was absolutely rammed and catered for all ages. We had a great time and cant wait to come back the next time we are in Harrogate.

called in on a Thursday night for a great rock music night. Good a see a live band instead of computer backing tracks.Enjoyed the music and the drink prices reasonable about £3.50 for a premium pint. Although busy service was still quick. Looking forward to going back on our next visit

Booking got a bit mixed up but Dave opened especially for us, we had a lovely variety of tapas and excellent service at a good price, plus music in the downstairs bar, yes downstairs gets busy but it adds to the atmosphere, thanks Dave for a good night

I've been before and chose this place for my birthday on the experience that I had previously. Two other people in the party had also been before and we all said that in comparison to our last visit it was pretty disappointing as we didn't receive much meat at all. We relied on the chefs choice as last time we received a huge selection of BBQd food which was delicious. This time we seemed to mainly get side orders, macaroni cheese and sweet potato with just a chicken leg/wing each, sausage each, meatball each and a rib each. Also what we noticed was that we received 3 platters for 10 of us each with 1-2 selection of the above, so not enough to go round for some of the choices. The quality of what we got was fine but where was the selection we'd had previously? It just didn't seem good value for money for £21 per head.

Great food great service, however the location was not the best.

Me and my partner visited harrogate from Australia and was recommended about this restaurant that could give an ozzy meat BBQ a run for its money, so we just had to try it!

This restaurant is what it is and it does. It well. It's a social occasion more than fine dining. Probably not the place for a candlelit romantic meal for two but if you're after great quality meat (and a lot of it) together with all the sides coming out on a cake type stand and joining other people on a larger table when room is tight then this is the place. When the music kicks off downstairs it creates atmosphere rather than distracts and it makes it the restaurant what it is. If I had one comment to make then the portions are massive, face down massive, and if like my partner you don't enjoy meat sweats then it would be good to be able to order one portion between two, which on a recent visit wasn't allowed. But even that's not really an issue, just take it away at the end of the night and have it when you get in from the inevitable few hours you've spent watching live music downstairs. Service is excellent, very personable and do their best to find a table even when busy. Be prepared to get other people to budge up. Great fun experience.

Well, where to start. This gem of a place is quite hidden in Harrogate town. Just head to a famous bar called the Blues Bar and BBQ Crackerjack is right up the stairs. It's a very cool relaxed hangout with a great cocktail bar.

Second visit to this highly unusual eatery, on the first floor above The Blues Bar, behind Betty's on Montpellier.

Great family buisness at its best, serving high quality meat, cooked to perfection and wonderful service, in a lively warm feeling setting.

11 of us visited The Green Room (located upstairs at the iconic Blues Bar) early on a Friday evening. Excited to see what Andy and his team could serve up, we booked just a couple of days in advance knowing that for such a large group and an increasingly popular spot we didn't want to miss out while a few of us were visiting from out of town. We took a couple of booths (7 or 8 would perhaps be the max per booth) and were promptly offered drinks once seated. The waitress explained the menu and also confirmed what gluten free options they had available. A few of us had starters (the onion bhajis and black pudding/sweet potato fritters were amazing and quite filling) ... then onto the mains. We all chose to share the platters which come in Meat, Meat & Seafood or Vegetable options. Wow, what a feast! Tiered deliciousness! Everything was prepared well, from the seared tuna to the pork chop to the chicken legs and ribs. Each platter included sides such as coleslaw and potato wedges - again, perfect for sharing. If you're prepared to try something different (away from the boring monotony of chain restaurants and pretentious wine bars) and expand your palate at the same time, then this place is for you. Book early! I hear the Sunday roast is also equally as good - will certainly be returning to try that out! Thanks to Andy and his team and congrats on creating a pretty unique food experience for Harrogate.

We are certainly not short of restaurants in Harrogate but it does take a lot to stand out from the crowd and Andy Annat at the blues bar does just that!

Recently visited Andy Annat at the Blue's bar,got my birthday meal with my fiancee and friends. The service was first class, genuine friendliness, and quick service. We shared a fish and meat platter, washed down with cocktails. All the meat was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. Looking forward to visiting again. No excuse needed. Well done to a great team and complements to the chef outstanding....

Sunday lunch was amazing food cooked perfect and we were full. Service was spot on and all staff were well mannered. Andy was the perfect host

Ask for the window seat if your a couple, if with friends the booths are comfortable and private, the food is amazing ,well seasoned and fresh The service is good too

I have now visited Andy and his great team of staff on several occasions for a pop in meal, sunday lunch and even my birthday with 20 other guests and every time the food has been outstanding. Not ony that but the staff are very professional, welcoming and friendly. If your lucky you may meet Andy the brains and master behind all the amazing food thats on offer, a great guy and a fantastic host. Please do not heitate to visit this quirkie place as you will not be disappointed with the tasty treats on offer. One thing that impresses me every time is there is always something different on offer. Last but not least you must try the deserts i recommend the platter if there is a few then you dont miss out on trying any of them.

And there certainly is a crowd of restaurants in Harrogate! But Andy's restaurant is a real dining experience, a great setting and innovative concept to share with friends in a group as i have done many times.

Andy is a true innovator when dealing with food, his concepts and dedication to his craft mean that you always be presented with stunning food!! The environment has been created to compliment the amazing fare on offer, I cant imagine anybody being dissapointed!!! Enjoy!!!!

We've been to Andy Annat @ the Blues Bar several times and have never been disappointed. The last 2 occasions were for Sunday lunch, which were awesome. Sumptuously cooked beef, pork and chicken, with everything from polenta chips to sweet potatoes. Very reasonably priced too. The service is friendly and just right. Nothing is too much trouble. Andy really knows his food. His imaginative BBQ meat and fish dishes are legendary. Can't wait to go back.

Our second visit to Andy Annat at the Blues Bar. This time we brought friends who were visiting from down South.

Called in for a drink and was amazed at the atmosphere. There was a live band playing and everyone was dancing! Really gave us a boost because,it was so friendly and lively. I walk with a stick and someone gave me her seat, even though it was packed. Really enjoyed our afternoon.

Andy Annat's at The Blues Bar is a totally unique eating experience in Harrogate. Yes the venue might be a bit quirky, however the food is simply amazing. Andy takes BBQ to another level, whether you're a meat, fish or veggie lover. My personal favourite is his Sunday lunch, again it's not your usual offering, but you'll struggle to find a better one!

I cannot rate Andy's restaurant high enough, there is a great choice of restaurants in Harrogate but if you want something different which is superb value, in a great setting, with service which manages the perfect balance of efficiency and friendly banter, then this is the restaurant.

On a recent visit we went to the Blues Bar...absolutely loved it. The band were excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic...and as it was my birthday, we sampled the beers...probably too many ...but its really is a must see when you are out and about in Harrogate

We attended the outdoor burger stall after listening to bands at The Blues Bar.They were holding a fund raiser for Cancer research.We arrived initially as the bands were setting up at 12 noon and returned later about 10 pm.Andy and the team worked constantly throughout the day and even took all the tables thro a packed pub and back upstairs afterwards.

So we went to the Xmas markets but it was absolutley tipping it down with rain. We cut our trip short and went into the Blues bar on the off chance that tgey were still serving bar food. The lady behind the bar said they were but there was a quieter restaurant upstairs if we fancied more of a treat.

My partner and I have been regular visitors to Harrogate and the fabulous blues cafe for a couple of years now, but for some reason we never realised that there was food available upstairs.

We were given the table looking out the window which was lovely , we had our own firework show! The service was very attentive and friendly from all staff, we shared a meat platter which was very yummy accompanied by a nice Bottle of wine and a cocktail! I would highly recommend going

Visited for the first time having read the reviews, unfortunately we all came away feeling deflated and somewhat underwhelmed by the experience.

Cannot fault the food!!! Some of the best in town. We came here for my partners birthday and unfortunately, the service was so bad I don't think I will return.

Been several times as it came highly recommended by locals. Large portions served in the sharing platter, good real ale from the bar downstairs. Some of the best bbq meats you are likely to taste.

Bit of a random place was initial thought. Menu only had 5 mains or platters on offer. Opted for the meat platter to share. So, it's huge, plenty for two. All cooked to perfection, super tasty. So good no dessert could be had. Definitely want to return! Staff friendly, welcoming and patient answering lots of questions!

Third time I've visited (1st review) and the food, as always, was delicious. We had meat and mixed platters and the whole family were raving about it afterwards, despite feeling slightly dubious on the way in!

Some superb and innovative food being served here. Best thing to do is go for one of the sharing style Platters which contain a selection of top quality meats cooked in a very interesting bbq manner along with various bbq vegetables, all extremely tasty and good value

After hundreds of BBQs all around the world, this is possibly the best I have found. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Bring you appetite!!

All I can start with is that I was really looking forward to this visit after seeing the reviews but I was left completely disappointed.

Having been previously late at night I found I really enjoyed the buzz and atmosphere. However, on my second trip we went slightly earlier and, without the overspill of music from downstairs, I felt the atmosphere lacking and the interior less engaging when it is still light outside. This is definitely a later night establishment. As to the food, we ordered a platter again but it didn't seem so enjoyable second time around. The BBQ meats were well cooked but I found it all too stodgy. I think the BBQ concept is best enjoyed much later in the evening where the quantity and stodginess is more welcome, with its ability to socially soak up the alcohol from numerous cocktails.

We made a reservation for 2 a few days earlier as we'd heard it gets busy (we visited on a Saturday) and had an amazing meal. There's not many booths and most of them seat 4/6+ people so I'd recommend booking if you need a small booth.

Rave reviews received but sadly didn't live up to expectations at all. We were recommended the special sharing plate thing between 4 of us and eagerly looked around at other tables expecting great things.

We booked here a month ago as something to look forward to and it was worth the wait!!

We visited on Saturday night for my wife's birthday with two other couples. We'd heard good reports about the place so we were really looking forward to it and wasn't disappointed. We went for the chefs selection, which was a selection of starters and mains from the menu, which came on a large pyramid platter for the whole group, which was a bit of a free for all between us. The staff were extremely friendly and explained everything. The food was good, which is mainly bar b cued style meats etc.

Well if you haven't been to the green room yet you MUST!!!! I had my hen meal there - the place catered amazingly well for the large group of us, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, super duper bar menu and the food is just incredible! We all shared meat/fish sharing platters with every yummy side dish you could possibly imagine - the steak was especially yummy. Absolutely exceptional food - Thanks for a great evening Green Room!

Gave this place a try last night and i was not disappointed. We had a sharing platter and it was huge! Quantity isn't everything but I can honestly say that the meat was perhaps the best I have ever eaten. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the side did not disappoint either. The staff rounded off a perfect meal, they suited the chilled out feel of the restaurant and were approachable, friendly and efficient. I will certainly be heading back!

Went there last Saturday night and had a fantastic evening with live music great company and a very enthusiastic audience. The band were a tribute band to Cledance Clearwater Revival. and they were very good and had all the audience standing and cheering.

We brought our Belgian friends to this restaurant last night. They had been told that British food wasn't nice at all - the can now go back to Belgium and tell those friends that they had the best meal they have ever had in Andy Annats, Harrogate, UK ! The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful, the ribs were tender and fell off the bone, the sauce was delicious, the chicken and bacon were superb, the salmon was beautifully cooked. The staff were attentive, helpful, polite, lovely. Will definitely be back !

The location, above the Blues Bar, is not my favourite BUT the first class service (usually fabulous Penny but on this particular Sunday it was Lovely Lizzie) and superb food really make the location irrelevant.

Got a booth for three and instantly the service was beaut,all the veg was cooked lovely ,cauliflower cheese ,broccoli ,carrots and red cabbage ,there were new potatoes and roasted new potatoes, I prefer normal roasted potatoes or sweet potatoes ,(just my preference ) the meat was cooked to perfection ,chicken ,lamb,beef and belly pork was a nice chilled atmosphere as got there on opening.

What an amazing place to eat. Welcoming atmosphere but this place is all about the food and tge food is amazing. Tge cuts of meat are great and superbly cooked. Recommend the platter as you get the chance to eat many different meats. This is a must restaurant on everybody's list.

We had the sharing platter for 6. It was stacked high with plenty of variety. Salads, potato salads, mushroom salads, Mac n cheese, corn on the cob, sweet potato, chips, onion rings, stuffed peppers, etc. Then came the real treat - the bottom tier chocka with perfectly BBQed meat. Beef rib, chicken wings, homemade sausage, pork belly, salmon... The favourite was the pork ribeye - the rub is amazing and simply falls apart ! Not sure how we managed dessert but that too was equally delightful. Andys the kind of chef who you can tell really cares, and comes out to talk to the diners quite often. Super hidden gem you have - thanks for a great (and different) evening !

Our son took us out for a meal but when we walked into the Blues Bar my son said 'my face dropped'. I could not have been more wrong.

You need to be hungry to eat at this restaurant. We were a group of 8 big eaters and we couldn't finish what was presented to us on the Chef's Special Platter. Food was excellent; well presented and tasty & service was top notch. £20 per head was excellent value for the quality and amount of food served to us.

As someone from the U.S. who is particular about their BBQ, this place is fantastic! Lots of meat options as well as several side dishes that are delicious! Perfect place for a "man tea". Tons of food! Is gaining popularity, so pre-booking is a must!

We had spotted this eatery on Tripadvisor whilst planning our weekend break in Harrogate and decided it was right up our street. We wanted to dine early so we were able to catch the England match and so booked a table for 6:00pm. Upon arrival we advised the waiting staff of the booking only to be told that as a booking for two we were booked in to a 6 seater booth with two other couples, unfortunately this wasn't acceptable to us so just beware if you are booking in as a couple. As it turned out a lovely space was found for us which overlooked Montpellier Parade and the lovely park.

Be warned - come when you are hungry because you get a lot! Even my boyfriend was defeated and we had to take some of the leftovers home. The food was brilliant, it comes out as a sharing platter with four kinds of meat (chicken, beef, lamb and pork), all the trimmings and a selection of sauces. We were in good heaven! Wonderful start to our holiday in Harrogate.

Andy Annat's BBQ are the best in town. I met him when he had his shop on Cold Bath Rd, and the burgers I tried were amazing!

My wife had managed to book this for my birthday - what a treat. We ordered the chef's platter and left it to Andy to determine the selection. Without exception the meats were deliciously seasoned and brilliantly cooked, complemented with some superb salads and macaroni cheese. There was no way we were going to be able to finish it all, so we took the remainder home and that satisfied a starving son when he finished work. Our wine choice from the specially selected list accompanied the meal really well.

Visited twice on 2 weeks alone whilst on business - staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the food. Had beef rib first visit- best I have ever had, and I've had this dish in quite a few places. Even put visits to the States in the shade. So tasty, cooked perfectly and accompaniments fresh homemade and delicious. Next time went for buffalo wings starter- again perfect! Then came my steak burger- how can a burger taste that good? Pulled pork on top just did it for me. Absolutely amazing. Met Andy who wanted to know if I'd enjoyed his good- think he realised I had!!! Will be back here on business next month and I'll be back for more. If you are in Harrogate give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

This place is insane! I visited two weeks ago with my mum and her friends, we ordered the chefs platters, everything was cooked to perfection, there was so much choice of different types of food, we also had a gluten free platter which was also amazing! The staff are incredibly friendly and can't do enough for you!! I loved the food that much I took my boyfriend a week later, the food was just as good, if not better, we are huge meat lovers and the platter suited us to a T! I have been talking about the green room to everyone and would highly recommend visiting and ordering the platter! I will certainly be visiting again! Thank you

Firstly, the service was superb which I find to be a rare thing these days. The cocktails we had were fantastic. We had a sharing platter and it was delicious. It came with a little bit of everything. Next time I'll order the beef short ribs all to myself along with the maple sweet potatoes - these were my two favourites. The atmosphere was buzzing, with the music overspill from downstairs. It is fantastic value for money and the portions are generous, for those with Yorkshire wallets and appetites! But it still hits the mark for the quality of the food as ultimately taste, not quantity, is the most important thing for me. I will definitely be back.

This is my second visit to this hidden gem. Above the Blues Bar overlooking part of the stray is a rustic restaurant which serves the most amazing food. I came here with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and we indulged in the platter for two. What a delight it was, a mixture of starters and meats so succulent it just fell apart. My husband couldn't get enough of the Mac 'n' cheese, and with other sides such as double cooked chips, salad and coleslaw it's safe to say we didn't manage to finish the whole thing, but at £23 per person it is crazy value for money. I can't wait to go back again......and again......and again!

The food was amazing. So tasty, you do need a big appetite but great value for money.. I do know that the owner has a long and good reputation in the BBQ world and it shines through in his food.

We booked this place on the internet before going to Harrogate for the weekend. What a fabulous choice! Live music, booth looking onto the green, excellent food choice and great staff. We booked quite early (6:30pm) but it was lively when we arrived with a band playing downstairs. The waiting staff were lovely, drinks ordered and delivered pronto then a bit of a wait for food but as it's cooked to order what do you expect? We chose the Aberdeen Angus Burger and it was sublime! Can't fault this place

Not one for a vegetarian's bucket list! On the first floor above the Blues Bar the entrance is slightly unprepossessing but the actual dining room is fine with a number of booths which seat 6/7 people each along with a bar.

Sunday roast was best I've ever had and that's saying something. Take home doggy means I really can't see the benefits of cooking it myself now, if we even get the left overs for tomorrow. You're doing an amazing job Andy. Just hope we can still get in as I think there is going to a 3 month waiting list once word gets out.

My friend organised my work birthday night out here on the 29th April for 35 people.....!!! She had been told we would have the whole of upstairs but at the beginning of the evening we were told we only had 3 booths, so a few of us had nowhere to sit... Anyway we didn't have to worry because waitress 'LIZZIE' soon sorted us out and got us another booth, that girl saved the night, she gave the most wonderful service throughout the evening and really made me feel special for my birthday, so BIG Thank You to Lizzie. The food was absolutely stunning, we had sharing platters for everyone, which catered for vegetarians as well as it did meat lovers.

I booked a table for 4 through table booking and all was fine. Arrived on time to be told we had 3 other joining us in 15mins. As we were there for a birthday meal we were not happy. Manager said she could not do anything about it. I told her they had my phone number so why haven't they called to inform me of this, she told me yes they should have bit if I had called the restaurant to book I would have been told.

Fantastic venue, sharing plate was very filling but tasted lovely, lots of choice and a good mix of meat, fish and veg. Cocktail choice was good and service was excellent.

Had dinner with 2 friends at the weekend. Upon arrival at The Green Room, the waitress asked us whether we had been made aware that we may have to share a booth when we booked. I explained that we had not and she apologised and said there was an error on the internet booking side of things as we should have been told. This did not really bother us but I cannot say the same for the lovely young couple who were expecting a romantic evening and instead were seated with 3 middle aged women, but we made the best of it! All the booths were occupied and the restaurant did appear quite busy. When ordering, we took the waitress Lizzie's advice and ordered a sharing platter. We had seen the young couples arrive and it did look rather good. Unfortunately, by the time our food arrived at the table (1 hour 40 minutes later) we were slightly inebriated having had 2 bottles of Prosecco to bide the time. The food was absolutely fantastic and we could not fault it but it just arrived too late although we had to ask someone to explain what was what as it was not clear. We felt rather sorry for the waitress Lizzie, who spent her entire evening apologising for things out of her control, and who had negotiated us 20% off our food bill and free desserts (although we could no longer eat these). The chef, who had introduced himself earlier in the evening on a couple of occasions, was nowhere to be seen at this point. I would go back and give them a second chance as the food was delicious, however, they need to sort out the seating and not take more bookings than they can cope with. I am not sure whether I could say the same for my friends though.

Came here for my birthday, we had the sharing platter for five of us. There was so much food and so much choice, the meat was superb. We had a sharing platter of deserts too which were divine. Followed up with some lovely cocktails. Perfect. There was a band on downstairs and the staff were very friendly and attentive which all made a fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy and we did have to share our large both which was not a problem, we chatted a little with our neighbours and this added to the lovely evening. Such a fab place to go for my birthday!

What can I say! We had such a good night, we had the chefs sharing platter! Omg the meat was cooked to perfection, and such generous portions, Lizzie our waitress was friendly and attentive as were the other staff, would definitely recommend, but always book as I think it gets very busy!

We had a table booked for 6 people at 8pm - we were told to come back in 15 mins as table not ready - went back at 830 - still no table ready. Tried to get a drink at the bar but so busy didn't succeed. We were just about to leave but were told by the Waitress that we wouldn't be paying for any of the food and the food was on them. We ordered a bottle of red and received a bottle of white, which she said to keep. We ordered 3 diet cokes and received normal. When it came to paying the bill we were told that only the dessert would be complimentary and we had received a complimentary bottle of white wine (no they sent us the wrong one). The waitress tried to wriggle out of the fact she had offered us "food on them". In the end the chef came out and he wasn't prepared to look after the customers and stand by what his waitress had said. We did in the end pay for the main at a slightly lower price but won't be returning or recommending .

We booked a table for 4 online for a Sunday night. Upon arrival we were shown to a large booth and offered apologies that later on we would have to share our booth with 2 other diners. I have no problem with that but it was made into a real issue. They never showed up actually. Food was very good but did take a long time to arrive and the staff had to chase it up. When it arrived, no explanation of what it was, just dumped on the table. We went for the sharing platter. Meat was a bit dry and not sure what we were eating. Then can the real low point of the night for me. The restaurant was now very busy with people standing around waiting for tables. We overheard the staff talking to a newly arrived party that our table would be going soon so to hang on. We were then offered desert, at the bar, so our table could be made ready for more people. We stood at the bar eating desert. Hardly a great experience. I then asked the staff that I was confused and unclear about what this place is. It seemed to me that the owners are a little disorganised and perhaps greedy to think they can cater for so many people. It was a bit like a rugby scrum. I shall not be going back.

Went for lazy Sunday lunch and it blew us away. We knew it had a good reputation but it far exceeded our expectations. I imagine it won't be long before you can't get a table, it really was fantastic. Girl who looked after us couldn't have been better, even made my fussy daughter a desert off the menu. We will be back LOTS!!

I had heard that the Green Room above the Blues bar was amazing and they had only started to serve Sunday lunch quite recently. We were not disappointed! We were asked which meats we would like ...lamb, pork, beef and chicken... The platter arrived and what a spectacle!! The huge portions of all four meats offered arrived on the lower platter, the roast pots and other tasty veggies adorned the middle platter and the six inch round Yorkshire puddings on the top... Lashings of gravy and every sort of accompaniment arrived too! The whole experience was out of this world! The meat was truly amazing...already booked to go back soon!

We booked in for a Sunday lunch following reading rave reviews on social media and we were not disappointed.

Excellent Sunday lunch, beef, pork, lamb and chicken all served on a platter to share with fresh vegetables and fab roast potatoes. The tender beef was superb as was the roast lamb and the giant homemade yorkshire puddings were delicious. The desserts were amazing too not that there was much room left after the huge main course. Absolutely faultless Sunday lunch and the service was the icing on the cake, Lizzy was brilliant, helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Went for a meal to celebrate a family birthday. Met by very welcoming staff and felt immediately very welcome. The food was amazing and it was a very present surprise for the chef to come out to speak to us to see what we wanted to eat. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. We had such a great evening that we will definitely be going again very soon.

I often spend my time when reviewing on here thinking of new and exciting ways to be hyperbolic about place we have been and eaten. This is one time where this isn't appropriate... I can say just one thing; this week place Is legit. Excellent. Wonderful. And if it weren't for the fact home was near-by I would have gladly paid rent.

have been to many bbq but the food here is just magic very pleasent they will go out of there way but be ready big portions you will not find better value in harrogate i know i live there you will have to book as he gets busy so get ready hope this is of great help to everyone

Food was good service was terrible. Pretty much bullied into our food choice. Shame, let down by terrible staff attitude.

Man size portions and fantastic flavours. Lovely buzzy atmosphere too. I'm a fussy eater with a few allergies and once explained, nothing was too much trouble for the team to slightly modify the dishes to accommodate me. Excellent and patient waotressing by Lizzie too with everything explained enthusiastically. Great evening for us and thanks to everyone for making it so... To echo others, the chefs recommendation did look fantastic but that takes nothing away from the castela rib I had on the night.

Called in for a girlie catchup ,the two of us ordered a platter of what ever Andy thinks ! He asks you likes and dislikes and just brings loads of meat or fish or a mix some greens and fries all was delicious love the tender chicken and the salmon , also love the takeaway box provided which is way too good for the dog !! Also have to leave it to the choice of the bar for a taste of gin .
