We visited a couple of times during our stay in Kettlewell and were impressed with the quality of the food and drink, and we found the service very friendly from the owner and all the staff. Prices were reasonable given how good everything was, and we enjoyed our visits sat in by the cosy log burner. Our takeout Wensleydale sandwiches were top notch too!

Overpriced and poor quality coffee and toasties. Maximising on the prime location and hungry passers by. Far better quality and value in nearby Skipton.

Called here while on a trip to kettlewell 2 mugs (cups) of tea plus 1 cheese and pickle sandwich to eat in. £12:50. When I queried the price of sandwich. Was only told it's because I ate in. That was not what I asked. Please avoid if you don't want to pay extortionate prices.

We visited this lovely village and nearly left without visiting this place. But then it started raining, so we nipped in for shelter. And I’m glad we did! The coffee was good but the cake was amazing. Really friendly staff and dog friendly too. Well worth a visit.

Popped in for a coffee and a sandwich and commented on the fact that we had been to Kettwell many times but never managed to find the deli open. My comment wasn't meant as a criticism but was clearly taken as one as the lady, I assumed was the owner, started ranting about needing 2 days off a week. Despite this we placed our order for coffee and went outside to look at the menu. The food and coffee were both delicious and the other lady working there was lovely. With this in mind we went back for another coffee thinking it might be closed as the opening times on the gate stated that they closed at 3pm, however they were infact open. I asked what time they closed (for future reference) and was told 4pm in the summer months and the owner did say she needed to change the sign. Then a guy came in and asked if they were still open which prompted another tirade about people not being able to read the big open sign outside. At this point I felt like walking out because of her attitude but stayed. She really does need to change her approach to customers and behave more professionally or she is going to loose custom. It won't stop me going back there because the food and coffee were of a very high standard but should there be another incident like that I certainly won't hesitate in walking out next time.

Popped in on Saturday afternoon after a walk around Kettlewell with the family - one in wheel chair. Arrived at 4:15 - 15 mins after usual closing but the friendly staff welcomed us in for coffee and cakes. Great coffee - husband and I shared a delish frangipane tart and Yorkshire MIL was very happy with her fruit loaf and Wensleydale. Small, cosy amount of seating inside with outside tables for favourable sunny days.

After a 25 mile drive to Kettlewell with the intention of visiting this cafe before the stated closing time of 4.00pm, and then doing some short walks, we arrived at just after 3.30pm. Outside signs clearly stated the place was open. Walked in to be told that the coffee machine had just been turned off. So we asked for tea. "That might be possible, the water should still be hot enough. For takeout?". No we wanted to sit here. "Sorry, we usually close about now ". The offhand manner of the person behind the counter was more than enough to make sure we never visit this place when we come to Kettlewell.

This deli is tiny but mighty. I dropped in for coffee while waiting for friends and it was filled with coffee scents. The friends joined me and we were all surprised by how much the place offered - a huge range of coffee based drinks, home-made cakes and alternatives to dairy milk. I expected plain simple coffee and found somewhere magical.

Whenever I go to Kettlewell now I make a point of trying to visit this little gem. Always welcoming and I like trying the different craft beers to go with my brunch or lunch. Apart from the great pies, pasties and cakes the best thing in my book are the homemade toasts and melts. All so original and hand made to order . Deffo 5* food and the great atmosphere and "craic" between the staff always makes me smile.

Not family friendly and very hostile. Cafe close by was charming like all the other establishments we frequently in our recent trip to the dales.

This is such a welcoming small coffee shop in the centre of Kettlewell. It has indoor and outdoor seating under a gazebo, by the stream that runs down into the river Wharfe. It has excellent coffee and local produce, and the menu looked interesting and tempting. The friendly woman who served us had walked the same route we were walking. Unfortunately, the next day it didn't open in time for us to buy lunch for a day's walking.

Exceptional food! Five cask ales. Enthusiastic and attentive (young) staff. The type of pub that makes you want to move near to it. Oh, and the BEST chips you will ever taste, wonderfully complemented by the gravy and the outstanding steak and ale pie,
