Amigos Kebab & Pizza House in Dover

Very nice, and big, chicken kebab with loads of salad. Staff were very pleasant too. Definitely better than your average kebab shop

Reasonably friendly staff. Kebab meat is greasy, bland and absolutely vile. Lots of salad. Two hours after eating, I had severe stomach cramps and vomiting. Pretty sure it wasn’t anything else I ate much earlier in the day.

Having recently moved to Ash we have used Amigos three or four times now and every time they have been consistently good. We order the Amigos special kebab with sides and it’s outstanding. I ask for this that and the other and every time the order is spot on. Really don’t get the negative reviews or maybe it’s changed hands in the last couple of years? Anyway don’t let the reviews put you off. This is a great takeaway!

Our favourite kebab! We usually order pizza, burgers or kebab and it’s always lovely! They also deliver to deal which is a bonus!

Quite honestly have no idea why you haven't been shut down, every time I give you a chance the food is vile and undercooked!!! Absolutely disgusting, rushing around to get orders out when quite frankly I'd rather wait longer for cooked food than be served this rubbish

My family ordered a takeaway which took 45 mins to come where we live only 10 mins away it was cold and the worse food they have ever tasted my son in law has been unwell in the night I would avoid they are rude and expensive

Recently moved to the area thought we would check it out and I can safely say I can’t fault it amazing kebab and burger and we will definitely be coming back Even managed to find us for delivery !!

I am shocked to read other people’s reviews about this place as we have had nothing but great food and service from here. Yes, sometimes the quality may slip a bit like most places but generally really good food, great selection and good value for money.

Not even worth a single star. Disgusting food, services is horrible. Had to ring on different occasions with the staff screaming down the phone, to speak to the manager, him also screaming down the phone. Can never get a single order right. The people on the phones obviously aren’t good at the job if they can never get the orders right!!!. Honestly should be ashamed to be a kebab shop. If the 2.5 rating doesn’t tell you much as it is then good luck getting ill to whoever eats this vile rubbish

The worst chicken kebab I’ve ever experienced. Dry chicken and very little of it. Tasteless in every way and to top it off.. £8.50. Avoid this place it’s crap

We have ordered from amigos a few times in the past never had any problem with the service and the food we ordered from there a week ago the person on the phone got are food all wrong we ordered again today we ordered something that never came and the food was really cold and couldn't be eaten we don't no what has changed there in the last few weeks?

Just arrived as it opened and considering they had no other orders you would of thought that mine and my families meals were in a long queue. My chicken doner meat was gross, grisly with lots of chicken skin on, I asked for no onions but the chef put them on anyway and then took them off when he realised (didn’t even ask if I was allergic or intolerant in some way or even apologise ) salad was rubbish- no red cabbage (what kebab shop doesn’t serve red cabbage?) the kebab did not look appetising and it didn’t taste it either. Mu husbands burger was ‘okay’ and my daughters diner meat was greasy and under cooked. Customer service is not great either- kept forgetting that we’d asked for cutlery and drinks and we were the only customers? Cash only too which I think is appalling in a time of a pandemic and cross contamination, and when we handed him the cash he asked if we had anything smaller (£22 order and handed £30 cash). Overall don’t go here it really isn’t worth the money or time and o wouldn’t be surprised if their hygiene behind the scenes isn’t up to scratch!

I am more than concerned that these people will poison someone. This place should be closed down food is unedable the staff are rude.

Would give this no stars if I could. I am still yet to receive a refund and i don't think I ever will given the rudeness of the staff over the phone and in the shop. I ordered two pizzas (because their website doesn't work properly) so I rang and said I would only like one. I waited well over an hour and heard nothing so I rang the shop just to be told that I had to go to the shop to collect it and they would refund the rest. I collected one pizza from the shop, feeling uncomfortable in the process due to the hostility of the staff, and never received money back for the other one. I have spoken to others who have had the same experience, please do not order from here - use just eat or another local kebab shop.

Waiting for my kebab to be served the garlic sauce had ran out. The chef handed someone from the back a clearly dirty stainless steel bowl. A few moments later the same bowl was handed to the chef topped up with the garlic sauce. The bowl was not washed but the chef said nothing.. This is unacceptable as this bowl was clearly cross contaminated. This place needs a proper clean and a visit from the local council telling them practices like this are dangerous

What a waste of space this place is!! Avoid like the plague, which is what my food looked like it had caught. Save yourself the money!! 💩💩💩

Had to wait almost 2 hours for the delivery of a pizza for 4 children and myself. Never again. Ended up refusing to accept and drove to Dominoes at Ramsgate and back with pizza in 30 minutes.

Weve been eating Amigos food for almost 15 years and it never ever fails to disappoint. The pizzas are amazing and the shish kebabs are huge

Absolutely appalling service, don't dare complain, you'll be told to get your food elsewhere, food is cold, burnt, takes over...

Had a takeaway and yet again the chips were double fried and cold. Burger was good! Yes it was a delivery but if you are going to offer a delivery service then get the basics right

So we ordered off their website for delivery and paid by card, after a hour and a half we phoned up and they said it had just left, then half hour later we phoned again and they insisted it had left 5 minutes ago, so another half hour passes and we call them and all of a sudden they didn't receive our order, went down there and they refused to give us our food or a refund even though we had proof of purchase on an email sent from their own website, absolutely shocking that 3 hours after we ordered we had no food and £40 down

Habíamos estado comiendo aquí por seis años, al menos una vez al mes. Primero fuimos cuesta abajo, las pizzas ahora nuestro kebabs son horribles. Llegamos cerca de cierre hoy y nos dijeron que el pollo doner no está disponible y que no le cook (patatas fritas, pero esperar de pollo pincho para cocinar! ). Llegué a casa con la comida que ni siquiera elegir por menú limitado y falto de ensalada, bueno, podría decir que había algunos, pero es difícil de encontrar ya que debe haber sido la heces. Me doy cuenta de que cerca de la hora de cierre no se molestó, pero ¿por qué no cerrar antes! ! ! ! ! No hay motivo para comprometer gravemente la calidad de la comida, no comeré aquí de nuevo.

Llegamos, ordenados. Estaba lleno, bien podría ser una espera entonces que muchas personas iban y venían con su comida mientras esperábamos, 20 minutos más tarde de nuestra orden fue tomado de nuevo. Luego, hombre que llegó algún tiempo después de que habíamos pedido, hizo un pedido, luego a la izquierda, él volvió y era inmediatamente sirve su comida.

We love this place because of the choices available, From pizza to kebabs they offer a free local delivery service or you can collect. Reasonably priced good food!!! And a friendly bunch too 😊👍🏽

Kebabs are Kebabs wherever you go but Attitude varies and this place has to have the worst one going ? Only went here as the really nice fish and chip shop opposite closed 5 minutes before we got there at 9.30

Visitamos dos veces en el último par de meses. La primera vez que tuve un kebab muy normal. Mi compañero tenía un queso/pizza de tomate grande y muy bueno! Segunda visita ambos tuvimos pizzas y estaban muy bien. El personal puede ser un poco brusco. Volvería pero para pizzas!

Have had a lot of recent take always that have been cold and not very nice but had one from here tonight and it's the best by far fast delivery hot and very good quality would recommend to any one

Regularmente utilizar el servicio de entrega a domicilio y la mayoría del tiempo todo está bien. Si se cometen errores son corregido sin problemas.

I used to have a kebab from Amigos about twice a month but was put off six months ago when I ordered in the shop. The food was poor in standard and the staff seem to operates as a series of individuals.I went back last night to give them a second chance but it was chaos as usual. 1 member of staff on the counter who asked me for my order but then started to chat to his colleagues in the back. He "forgot" that I was about to order. There was someone else also waiting to order and he was also ignored. So after 5 minutes I spoke out and asked him to put some food onto cook for me, which he then seemed confused about. He didn't put my food onto cook. I then gave my order to another guy who walked in from the back of the shop who had an argument in Turkish with the first guy about my order,but it still wasn't put onto cook. I eventually asked them again to start my order where both said that had started but couldn't point to the shush and kofte cooking when I asked them to show where it was being started.The staff then for some unknown reason took the chicken kebab off the rotisserie and took it into the back of the shop. The other customer had ordered a chicken kebab which then then told him they had run out off. Bizarely we had both witnessed them take the almost new chicken kebab down. Other customers came into the shop and ordered various things which the staff got completely wrong. I eventually got my food and went home. It was average at best if I'm completely honest. Sadly I. Won't be returning to Amigos in Sandwich. I recommend you also follow my lead and avoid.

Had a chicken shish kebab from this place on thursday 30th july 2015.It was terrible,very bland taste,no flavour to it.Avoid if you like tasty food.

Amigos is one of the few pizza take aways which deliver to us, and it always is very nice. The delivery time is always accurate, they have never been late or come with a wrong order. The food is good, and the menu offers a range of kebab shop food - chicken, donner, pizza etc. Reasonably priced, would say one of the best local kebab shops.

I've been going to Amigo's for around 8 years, and it's definitely one of the best kebab shops in the area. Prices are reasonable, although the pizzas seem quite expensive, and the kebabs are usually very nice.The staff are mostly pleasant and will happily let you have extra sauce or pickles etc, although one newer man decided to shout at me for supposedly not asking for a part of my order, when in fact he'd just not written it down. Yelling at customers probably isn't the best way to get good reviews, but I haven't seen that member of staff there since, thankfully. Still, for the most part Amigo's is a friendly place where you'll get a really good kebab at a reasonable price.

I think Amigos has changed hands because it has changed a lot lately, and friends have said the same thing. The chicken burger here used to be one of he best- the meat was a single chicken breast with amazing seasoning and one of the best garlic sauces of any kebab shop. However I recently had a chicken burger with chips - salad and garlic sauce. The portion size is still great and at a very reasonable price. However the chicken burger is rubbish now!The meat was hugely over cooked... like eating half inch thick cardboard! It was made up of 3 breaded goujons with almost no taste to them - certainly not season in-house! The garlic sauce was also barely any tastier than just plain mayonnaise.I have always been a big fan of this place - great pizzas, burgers and kebabs but this last experience really was incredibly tasteless and I have no intention of coming back any time soon.

Very good choices especially the pizzas and 3 different sizes; vegetarians definitely catered for. The staff are most helpful and polite. Itis also spotlessly clean
