On my way back home after returning a hire car, two long days away in Glasgow; walking past Allotment was just what I needed! I thought this looks like we can have a nice coffee in here, and I wasn’t wrong. Excellent choice of hot and cold drinks available, very nicely prepared coffee, a lovely blend too! Excellent for brunch and lunch and treats, come on down and give it a try guys, what a fabulous coffee shop!

Great coffee and great service, met a friend for coffee and ended up having lunch. My friend has allergies and the lady behind the counter wasn't sure but immediately phoned her boss who answered the queries. The food we had was wonderful, we got chatting to another customer who was obviously enjoying the chocolate cake, and she confirmed she would recommend it.

The coffee at ALLOTMeNT is a pleasant break from the burnt bitter water available at most establishments these days, and is certainly a tremendous step up over the large chain branches nearby. Their breads and in turn sandwiches are excellent and all come with a pleasant and personal service in a nice atmosphere.

Enjoyed a goats cheese and beetroot salad at allotment in Worksop. Staff, service, and food were all faultless. Would definitely return. It’s about time Worksop had something like this

A great find in Worksop. We had a lovely homemade sandwich, the bread was amazing. Very family friendly with a children’s area at the back!

New cafe in the town, very friendly staff, decor minimal industrial, nice touch chargers 🔌 for computers, to attract customers who are working on their Lunch hours. The menu is simple, however everything is home made, especially the soup of the day, today’s was carrot & coriander which was gorgeous. ( served with bread 🥖 & butter ) I would definitely think about bringing in The Chicken Soup option as We talked about. ( Sounded lovely ! ) The baguette are pre made & warmed up if requested, my coronation chicken & bacon was very tasty. For what I could see the cakes 🍰 looked yummy to, must try them next time. Thank You Guys for a great experience !

Retford is so lucky to have a place to eat as good as Taste. The staff are just lovely, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel at home. The food is amazing, always perfectly cooked, presented beautifully and dietary requirements are catered for. Its our go to place to eat. Love it.

Having an evening out, beer here of course as they brew some great ales of their own. Intention of having a light dinner, well it was fantastic! Beautifully cooked, well presented and served professionally! Great experience and did I mention the beer? We will be back.
