We used Deliveroo and Uber Eats over Christmas. The food from Ali Baba’s on both occasions was absolutely delicious. No-one could find a fault with either of the meals.

If you’re looking for a great food spot in Alton, I would definitely recommend AliBaba Eats! Great food selection and amazing customer service!

Disappointing to be honest to start with the chips obviously had been sat around a while and we’re warm and very chewy! The burger bland and the roll sweet in taste. Obviously we won’t be using them again. This was a collection which I waited 20 minutes for in the seating area why they prepared phone orders! The reviews were the only reason I tried the food but it did not represent what I was served.

We enjoyed a delicious meal, with excellent service for our first Valentine’s together. The upstairs restaurant was decorated with heart shaped balloons and was calmly lit. We were greeted with a cheery welcome. (Plus a red rose 🌹) There was plenty of delicious sounding dishes to choose from… my partner opted for the minestrone soup, having never seen this on an Indian menu before. Then we had Handi chicken, lamb pasanda, special rice, tarka dall and paratha. Everything tasted delicious!! (We are both serious foodies) We couldn’t eat it all but we took a goody bag home with us. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and tidy. We are very much looking forward to returning for their banquette evening on a Monday or Tuesday 😁😁 The only one small but if advice I would give… maybe some gentle background music would be nice. Maybe they do normally but on this occasion, there was none. Thank you so much for making our evening special 👍

I have ordered from this takeaway several times over the past year or so and have never had a bad curry. Food has been good every time. If I have one negative thing to say will be that the Onion Bhajis are more often than not over cooked and quite oily in my opinion but still edible and tasty😃

Visited Feb'25. Ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb curry, garlic naan's and jeera rice. Gave this a 2-star review as the service was good but unfortunately the food wasn't. Chicken tikka masala - so much food colouring and more of a sweet taste rather than an authentic spice taste. Lamb curry - this wasn't lamb, it was sheep. Lamb is usually tender but this was chewy and hard to breakdown. Jeera rice - rice is rice no real issue there. Naan's - too thick, so doughy almost not cooked. If you're looking for an authentic Indian restaurant, this is not the one. I choose this restaurant based on the reviews but utimately was disappointed. It's a shame as the service was actually ok but the food really let it down. i won't be visiting again.
