A party of four, we all had a different main course and dessert and were very satisfied with the variety, quality and speed of service.

Big surprise! We nearly walked by but were intrigued by the sign saying there was a garden at the back - it was a hot day and we fancied lunch outside, so thought we would give it a try. So glad we did. Food is really really good and very sensible priced. Service fast and attentive. A definite 5 out of 5. Fab.

Witnessed something awful today. The owners bullied a disabled woman by telling her she wasn’t allowed to go past a certain time and that the following clients were more important. I listened carefully and it seems there was no communication from the owners regarding a start and finish time for booking a table. Certainly we weren’t aware. My party and I had urgent business to discuss and were hugely disappointed in their attitude. We decided we won’t be frequenting this establishment again if that’s how they treat customers and a disabled person. They should be very ashamed of themselves.

What a delightful find on a busy road, a peaceful quiet rear seated garden area enveloped in vines and apple trees. The hosts were all delightful taking the time to make us feel welcome and fulfilled. Wonderful fresh produce with impeccable service this will be our new go to cafe, and our dog was very welcomed too.

My husband & I have lunch out every friday as a 'date day'. We came here for the first time to check it out. We were not disappointed at all. Even though we hadn't booked and it was busy we were offered a table, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing! We loved it so much we have booked to return next week.

How have I missed this little gem? Lovely restaurant with really interesting and yummy food. I had the tortilla and it was delicious. The puddings are to die for and although it was only my friends who tried them, I will definitely be back to try them myself. Nectarine crumble and custard. It's calling me back.

Great selection of meals and the special of the day is always quite special and a good option. Sue's Swiss salads are terrific. I had mine teamed with delicious falafel. Desserts are homemade and all very good as is the coffee.

Stopped here for lunch this was my first visit. Very warm welcome and a nice atmosphere in the cafe. The food was delicious and coffee as hot as I like it! Must come again and sample more of the delicious dishes on offer.

We visit Bexhill regularly and was attracted to go into this cafe by the food displayed in the window and wasn't disappointed. Good choice of food on the menu and lived up to description. Will definitely visit again

Went to Alfredo and Sue's for lunch to today, had the special 'Spanish Roast Chicken with Mediterranean vegetables and Sauté potatoes, just wonderful, cooked to perfection. The Chicken was moist and the vegetables to die for!! Finished of the meal with Pistachio cake and ice cream while my wife had the Plum Crumble with cream. Yum! Yum! A Place to eat when you visit Bexhill.

What a gem of a place! An excellent double macchiato, followed by a delightful Spanish Tortilla fresh out of the pan. Well worth waiting for. This just had to be followed up by the daily special, Spanish Chicken with Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables and sautéed potatoes. Excellent value for money, all beautifully served with pride by the excellent staff (sorry forgot to get names). All in all, a lovely experience, and one we will definitely be repeating upon our return to Bexhill in the future. Wishing this establishment every success

We found this place by sheer accident and what a very pleasant surprise. We sat in the garden as it was a warm sunny day, it was very busy but the service was fabulous. We weren’t very hungry so chose to share the Swiss Charcuterie Platter which was really delicious. We’ll definitely return to have lunch…...the choices on the menu are varied, each one looked delicious. The coffee was also perfect.

I had seen Alfredo & Sue's a number of times and tried it out last week. It was excellent in every way. Good value, delicious food, Mediterranean flavours and a new twist on a. British pudding, friendly and efficient service, bright and cheerful cafe (plus garden not used on this visit). Definitely will be going back and am telling others about how good it is. Plus it's on a very pleasant and slightly quirky street, Western Road, in Bexhill with all manner of small shops, butchers, bakers and maybe even a candlemaker.. You don't see these old fashioned, lively and pleasant shopping streets so often these days.

We chose to eat here having visited once before and having a feeling that it would be just perfect for today - tasty, healthy and a lovely setting.I had the Swiss tart (cheese and onion today) with Swiss salad and was so happy to see the large number of different salad items squeezed onto the plate, each beautifully prepared. It was a salad to savour and being able to eat it outside at the back in the sun was a real treat. My husband ate his first proper meal for two weeks after a hospital stay with a very delicate tummy and it went down really well. He had the Spanish tapas trio - prawns, chicken and tortilla today - and enjoyed it very much. The dishes were all of a generous size with lots of different ingredients. Bread and butter pudding and plum tart afterwards (both mostly eaten by me!) were also excellent. Service was efficient and very friendly. Thank you! This would be a good pick for a vegetarian.

Visited Alfredo & Sue’s for a pre booked Christmas lunch yesterday. Cannot praise this meal enough, the turkey was moist, the veg was excellent and I have to say, being a sprout lover, they were beautifully cooked and so tasty. Very tasty home made mince pies for dessert all accompanied with a warm mulled wine. Without doubt the best Xmas lunch so far this year. Well done.

My friend and I went into this resturant/cafe on Friday. Unfortunately our experience was terrible. We sat down and looked at the menu, I was happy as I was able to choose several things that didn't have tomato in as I have a severe tomato allergy. After explaining that I had this food allergy the waiter took our order and he then said that they use tomato in a lot of the food and could not guarantee that there could be contamination. I explained that it was a a severe allergy and was very concerned. He then said they were not prepared to buy new chopping boards just because I had an allergy if I had a peanut allergy it would be different. I was shocked at his attitude and found it very rude as I am not able to change what I am allergic to. Weet as I could not take a chance of becoming ill. We will not return and suggest if you gave food allergies not to requent this establishment.

Had a lovely and well-priced lunch here today. Home made Spanish chicken with gratin potatoes. Delicious!

Thanks to the great reviews on TA, we decided to visit. I was frustrated to find such an out-of-date website without a menu, but I had a hunch we'd be OK. They do have a regular menu for food and drinks, but also a number of daily specials. We sat in the delightful back garden and ordered the trio of Spanish tapas, which were freshly prepared and excellent. That was enough for my wife, but I sneaked a dessert. It was a pastel de nata, a type of custard tart I had only ever eaten in Portugal. Incidentally, they serve excellent coffee. Service was friendly and helpful, but not rushed. I can see why it is so popular with locals. It's good food without being in the least pretentious.

We found Alfredo's and Sue's on a slightly overcast Saturday morning and it was a lovely refuge from the weather. We were there for morning coffee break - large choice of different coffees and cakes. The lunchtime menu looked good as well with different and interesting choices available.

We both had two excellent breakfasts.... although the café was very busy, the service was also excellent... only one person to do everything front of house, which he managed perfectly... juggling all the jobs with a lovely friendly hello, to all the customers... really recommend a visit to this wonderful little cafe.... thank you both

Lovely Spanish style food. We have never visited before. Very clean and covid secure. Great little garden with socially distanced tables surrounded by a huge fig tree and vines. Fabulous coffees particularly the Bon bom. Will be back again.

Really nice and fresh taste Different choices between Swiss, Spanish and Britisch food. I took daily special that was schnitzel with rice and carrots. Everything has property taste. My girlfriend ordered carrot soup and tapas.Tapas were generous portions and all was delicious and fresh.Friendly environment.We surely will repeat this experience.

A family run restaurant with delicious Spanish style food . We always enjoy lunch here. The family have brought a number of dishes and snacks from Alfredo’s Spanish heritage to the menu. I also love the Swiss salad. I chose to have Spanish chicken with mine and it was very tasty. Their son welcomes you at the door and between him and his Mum Sue they make sure all your needs are met. If you don’t want lunch try one of Sue’s Cheese scones which are the best I have ever had. Somehow despite being busy they always have the time for a little chat . Muchas Garcia’s.

A little gem you won’t want to miss. Beautiful and comfortable place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely choice of food and very reasonable. I’m so glad we stop there for lunch. Highly recommended!

My friend and I were looking for somewhere to lunch and walked past here and the menu looked lovely, we were seated in the garden ( being kindly asked if we wouldn’t mind sitting in the sun) all of these touches make such a difference to customer experience. We asked if we could have a couple of sides and tapas style dining, the lovely waiter said his parents were making a trio special and suggested some sides with it, OH MY GOSH is what we said all through the meal, it was so authentic and perfectly flavoured, everything complimented each other so well and was a well thought out menu. We finished off with Lemon Roulade and a chocolate cake which was also amazing! Along with two drinks all of it only cost £12!!!! Was the eat out help out scheme! Too cheap for the experience and food so my friend left a nice big tip. We met sue after and told us her story she is such a lovely lady and they deserve all of the success they can get!

i got back to this place for the first time since lockdown but ate in the garden for the first time. This is the greatest hidden gem in bexhill. Use it or lose it.

The food here is always top quality with mostly homemade items. Generous portion sizes prepared to order and its obvious that a great deal of care goes in to everything on offer. The staff are always super helpful and its always well organised. We have never had a bad experience here and since reopening after lock down you feel confident that all possible safety measures have been put in place and its always super clean. Cant praise them enough.

Somebody told me to visit this place & I managed to find a parking place not too far from it yesterday. I called in to see what I could find to eat that fits my tastes and my very difficult diet and swallowing problems, sadly I can't eat much of the food there (and many places) so I bought a sausage roll to eat for lunch at home; it was really tasty and filling but it had three quite large pieces of gristle in it that I couldn't chew or swallow. The staff were friendly and polite, the place has a nice airy feel and I saw their sunny garden at the back: pretty.

I live in Spain but visit my sister in Bexhill often and Alfredo and Sue’s is a must. Pity we don’t have them down in Spain I could go more often.

We enjoyed two full Englishes with two lovely thick rashers of bacon. Extra pound for black pudding was two large slices, very good value. Extra mushrooms on side for companion were nicely garlicked, pleasantly surprised. Decent coffees and Fanta on special offer at 20p a can. Social distancing fully respected and nice garden at the rear to eat in. Definitely worth returning.

Really lovely food and owners. Plenty of choice and very reasonable prices. We had 3 courses and drinks and everything was fabulous. We will definitely be going again. Thank you for an excellent meal on my Dad's Birthday :-)

I have been going to this cafe for a number of years and absolutely love the atmosphere.In the summer the garden is a hidden paradise and we was only saying yesterday we cannot wait until the summer.Yesterday we went down and I have my usual Sues amazing salad and my husband had aCooked breakfast - it’s was absolutely delicious Sue and her son went above and beyond when helping aCustomer who had additional needs - helping with Putting her coat on, gloves and getting up from out the seat and ensure she went on her way safely - Really lovely to see and what amazing customer service.I honestly can say this is the best in Bexhill - thank you ❤️Zac and scott

Today we visited Alfredo & Sue’s restaurant again. It is ALWAYS a delightful experience. I had the Serrano ham, manchego cheese, chorizo sausage, olives and bread starter at £5.95 and I could easily imagine being in a top class city centre restaurant. Perfect...delicious... well presented...filling...delightful, are just a few words that come to mind. We both had the trio of tapas for mains....and I was in heaven. Prawns in garlic, tortilla and empanada -all to die for. Not only is this tasty, reasonably priced food. It’s a feast for the eyes, every time. Our total bill with drinks came to less than £30. Incredible! Terrific value for money. Excellent service. Great food. Nuff said!

As a keen charity-shop browser, I sometimes spend an afternoon in Bexhill, which has it's fair share. After eating several nice, but not triumphant, lunches in other local places, I decided to try Alfredo and Sue's, based on its excellent TripAdvisor recommendations. Despite the unassuming exterior, I was not disappointed! As a a vegan, I found myself incredibly well-catered to. I had a customised Swiss salad - my plate was overflowing, and everything on it was excellent - especially the Spanish-tinged couscous ! I also found that the owner, I assume this was Sue, to be nice and polite (not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about). She seemed very interested in my reasons for being vegan, and even asked for ideas as to how to make the cafe friendlier for vegans (in my opinion, they don't need to!).As I was going to be doing quite a lot of walking after my visit, I took a takeaway vegan sausage roll with me, as well as a cup of their excellent coffee - good fuel for the busy day ahead.All in all, a successful visit, and I look forward to returning!

I went here with 2 friends my first visit. We sat in the garden and received great service and fantastic food we could of been anywhere in the Med. I loved it,tried to visit again but went on a Monday when it was closed But will definitely go again..

There are lots of places to eat in Bexhill, but this is one of the better one's. Outside doesn't really draw you in, but don't let that put you off. Team friendly, food great and prices very reasonable. Recommended.

We’re regular visitors to Bexhill but have never visited Alfredo & Sue’s before but as we walked past, the lunchtime tapas menu caught my eye and we ventured in. The place is clean, welcoming, pretty spacious for a small establishment. The waiter greeted us courteously and quickly brought us menus. Service was friendly, efficient and speedy. My 3 tapas dishes were an absolute delight! Filling, tasty, well presented, hot! The Spanish tortilla was moist, delicious and a good portion. The potato and celeriac soup was incredible! So good that I was tempted to ask for the recipe. The chicken, chorizo, mushroom and beans were just spicy enough and generously sized. With a pot of tea and a bone china cup, I could hardly believe I was in a small Bexhill cafe and not in some posh restaurant in an expensive city centre. My wife was equally pleased with her menu choices. The bill came to £27 with 2 puds - a bread and butter pudding with custard and a cream cake with ice cream. What an absolute find! We’ll definitely revisit them next time. To sum it all up? Just one word - BRILLIANT

Nice welcome upon arrival, good coffee, nice choice for breakfast ..., sweet and savoury. Everything is home-cooked and taste / smell delicious. It is so clean, and all the tables are tidy with menus, sugar bowls etc, it just feels a nice place to eat and drink, even before you start.

Just had a lovely lunch, I had the Spanish trio which was delightful followed by a very tasty bread and butter pudding. This is our 1st visit as we live in Seaford but we will be back. I would totally recommend if you are in Bexhill.

Whenever we visit Bexhill, we make sure to have lunch in this lovely cafe. The made-to-order tarts, served with a huge Swiss salad are especially nice and the cafe atmosphere though a little on the snug side is friendly and inviting. In the summer the garden is very pleasant to sit out in. Cannot recommend this place for quality of food and service highly enough.

I have enjoyed all my lunches here and especially sitting outside amongst the fruit growing in its secret garden. Very reasonable for a home cooked menu . Individual cooked breakfast very good .

Only been here a couple of times but boy have these folks got it right. Very friendly, smiling welcome, spotlessly clean, superb “real” coffee and super range of delicious food. This is now a regular stop for me. Keep up the good work folks.

I know I did a review of this place before but went there again today ( have been there in the intervening period) and the food remains lovely, no pretensions great salads so tasty. slowly eating my way thro the menu and it is all good. how this is the number 16 place in Bexhill is beyond me. if you avoid the chains and the pizza places there are three very good eating places in Bexhill and this is one of them.

British, Spanish, Swiss food cafe. Lovely small shop with garden room in the summer. This is one of those places that has regular customers as well as tourists. Tapas menu comes as a trio and is more limited than some other tapas outlets, but is tasty and well presented. Other choices are interesting and look out for specials. Friday lunch time curry is clearly a winner.

This is an amazing Cafe and one we always visit once or twice when I am in Bexhill visiting. We had the Tapas this time with some Prawns in garlic with bread and it was amazing. I exotically liked the beetroot with goats cheese and broad bean selection. We loved sharing and selecting the tapas. Awesome place and we chatted with the person who cooked our food. Very friendly. We also stopped by again for coffee and a Portuguese custard tart ... mmmmm. We sat outside since the weather was amazing. This is the perfect cafe. I’ve also had the Spanish Hot Chocolate in a previous trip... it was an amazing treat! Wish we had something like this where I live. I will be back :)

This cafe in the centre of town offers a good choice of food & drinks. It is excellent value, with great service. They also have outdoor seating in there garden at the rear. Worth a visit.

This was our second visit to this delightful cafe. We had been lucky enough to win two regular breakfasts with choice of drink so decided to visit Bexhill on a sunny Saturday and treat ourselves.

i was looking around for a bite to eat and spotted Alfredo’s.. really happy i did.! food was lovely, service was quick.. price was reasonable and the atmosphere was homely. really recommend

I went here for the first time this weekend, I had a French melt (chicken and brie) in a Spanish roll. My partner have a bacon and salad, they were both really tasty. It's nice to have waitress service as well. They do proper meals and tapas as well. The other food they were serving looked very good. Will definitely be going back.

It’s a lovely little cafe, friendly and good service, with a good choice of food and drink. It was clearly full of regulars which was nice, and shows it’s worth returning to. I only had coffee but the cakes and snacks looked really lovely.

It has been nearly five years we as a family have been going to Alfredo & Sue's and I would be had pressed to think of a Cafe I would prefer to go for lunch too. My only problem is that I do not vary what I choose because their Swiss Salads and Chicken are just fantastic. Always a friendly and personal welcome, great selection of food including a daily special and good coffee and cakes. It does get busy but the staff always do their best to accommodate and cannot be faulted. This is really something a little different in Bexhill, fairly priced and always producing good quality, well-made food with a European slant. My first recommendation for anybody looking for a lunch in Bexhill without hesitation. The garden is also great in the summer.

I come here, every time im in Bexhill, because its so friendly and relaxed. I love the English/Spanish/Swizz fusion of food they offer. And always a delicious choice of cakes too! ☺

A little disappointed...for what we got quite frankly expensive and poor quality, one part of our order never even arrived! The two members of staff were friendly and professional, but on a cold wet lunchtime what you need is hot freshly cooked food, not a slightly stale roll with yesterday's sausage!

What a great place, lovely home made soup and crostini (toasted cheese on crusty bread) we also went back this...

Very nice and pleasant place to stop off for all you could want from a cup of tea to a light lunch staff very pleasant and polite and very attentive food is very tasty and a great variety and is home cooked food well worth a visit.

My mother and I visited Bexhill when it was their Roaring 20's weekend so the town was extra busy. We had researched on TripAdvisor for somewhere to eat and found this cafe recommended so we took a chance.When we arrived it was almost full but we found a table for two at the back. There is a large garden but the weather was not nice enough to dine al fresco.We had time to study the menu which was good as there was a lot to choose from. We finally plumped for a bacon, cheese and tomato baguette and chicken, bacon and spinach in a lovely Spanish roll. We also ordered the home-made red cabbage coleslaw and savoury potatoes and a pot of tea for two. We were told the potatoes might not be ready but luckily they were.The waitress was very polite when she took our order and the tea arrived pretty quickly. The food took a little while but it had been freshly cooked. The potatoes were delicious and the coleslaw was amazing (thanks to the special ingredient!).It was very good value for money. The staff were all very pleasant and the toilets were clean!! We will definitely be going here again as there was so much on the menu to try.

visited for lunch.which was well presented and good value.The staff were very friendly and the cafe had a good atmosphere, making some of the postings a bit hard to understand. You are made well aware that each dish is freshly prepared and there will be some delay.If you can't accept this you are in the wrong place. Altogether a very happy lunchtime,and one we would like to repeat soon.

The food here is great and has been for many years. The products are localy sourced. The service is slow but then everything is done to order. Weather permitting theres a lovely garden at the back.

I had popped in on a Friday afternoon at about 2.30, so just after peak time. The poorly decorated cafe with laminated sheets as a placemats (??) was relatively quiet. After standing in the entrance for 5 minutes without being served we were directed to a table. The waiter was blunt, unfriendly and made no effort to make conversation, however we decided to continue to order a lunch. The menu was cheap (but I guess you get what you pay for in terms of service and food quality). After waiting 15 minutes for our order to be taken, we ordered a Spanish tapas, something you'd expect to be relatively simple in what claims to be a 'Spanish' restaurant, however we were told there would be a 15 minute wait for the food which we were fine with despite being confused as the cafe was quiet. Everyone else around us who ordered jacket potatoes or sandwiches, received their food quickly, seemingly happy with their basic and unattractive food, confirming that the understaffed employees were out of their comfort zone when actually asked to cook something properly. After our drinks were slammed down on the table by the waiter, we sat there waiting for 40 minutes until we had to ask for the food to be in takeaway containers due to us having an appointment at 3.30. Despite asking nicely and not complaining about the wait the server was rude and ignorant and acted as if we were a huge inconvenience. A woman came out from the kitchen to argue with us, clearly very offended that someone had asked to have it takeaway due to poor waiting times, clearly showing that they knew they had left us waiting WAY too long. Both members of staff continued to be sarcastic and rude and making a scene in the restaurant all because we had asked for them to be in take away pots!!!!!! We were still quite happy to pay however after their complete ignorance and awful customer service we left the food and walked out, no one should ever be treated how we were by these staff! Ruined our afternoon and wasted almost an hour in a cafe which had NO atmosphere and shocking staff. Will never return, maybe the staff should start to accept when they are in the wrong. Absolutely shocking experience.

Stopped here for lunch on our day trip to Bexhill. Nice sunny place with friendly staff. Had a great bacon and mushroom omelette followed by tea cakes. They have a nice garden out the back too.

Stopped off for a light afternoon snack midweek with my husband whilst out shopping and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh delicious produce and friendly staff. We were first attracted by the delicious home cooked cakes in the window. My husband order a coffee and a salmon and cream cheese sandwich and I ordered the Spanish antipasti dish of serrano ham, chorizo, ranchero and delicious rustic bread. I declined the olives and was instantly offered more bread to replace them. It was a refreshing lunch with attentive and friendly staff. I will definitely make a bee line for there again and look forward to trying out the different authentic Spanish dishes offered on the menu. All the ingredients are sourced locally. They have even invented a Bexhill coffee which is sweet and nutty just like the town itself.

What a friendly place. We were visiting Bexhill and some ladies coming out of the café recommended it. So in we went are were not disappointed. Everything is prepared freshly, prices are great and Sue has a friendly chat. My wife loved her Swiss salad, the quality is amazing and the personal details great. give it a try we went twice and weren't disappointed.

It is the 'Swiss Salads' especially with the Spanish tortilla that brings people here - but get in early as the tortilla sells out as does other items as all cooked freshThe cafe is popular and does good coffee, has a toilet but not free wifi or at least not advertised which is unusual nowadays The food is all fresh here and nut bought in which cafes like this are few and far between They also have a garden with tables should the Bexhill weather be good enough for this RecommendedEnjoy

This is a small cafe but its very friendly. Endless menu of drinks. Spanish swiss influence food. The salads are amazing. Get there early as they sell out of food quickly. The cheese scones are amazing.

We popped in here as our normal cafe was closed, and I have to say it was very nice. Service was very efficient and the young man was very polite and friendly.We just had teacake and the chocolate orange fudge cake which was delicious, with our coffees, but looking at the other plates of food around, it all looked fabulous.Definitely a place with regulars, but everyone was welcome and it felt so friendly.

we often call in for a small bite, cheese on toast or toasted sandwiches. The daily specials are superb, we have had a few, wonderful value and staff so friendly, a really great atmosphere with customers jelling nicely.

I've been to this Café more than 5 times now, their Russian salad is highly recommended. I am Gluten Free and they can cater for that, just make them aware. Sue is very friendly and a great hostess. It is a small café, so to guarantee your place I would recommend booking. They run a very good Christmas menu too, which I am told is good value and worth visiting for.

We called in here for a coffee and to check out the menu as I had read a lot of good reviews Didn't have time for a meal but looking at the selection of meals others were eating we will certainly return for lunch It all looked freshly cooked and wholesome food

Every time we visit Bexhill we make a beeline for this cafe. The menu is different and the food has never failed to impress.Lovely, fresh, home cooked food. Subtle flavours that compliment each other, an unusual mix of Mediterranean and Swiss.Be adventurous! Try the tapas and the daily special.A nice friendly atmosphere too.

I love this place !Great food, great coffee and I've really got to know Sue, who always takes the time to say hello and talk to my little boy :)They are always busy but it never disturbs the quality of the service

Had lunch today(13/10) - Cottage Pie and Savoy cabbage. Very tasty generous portion. Prompt courteous service and very good value not cheap.

Another great place to eat in Bexhill. We had a lovely lunch out in Sue's garden and it was most enjoyable. Can recommend to anybody.

We love this place. You have to go early because their delicious food sells out fast and they close quite early. You feel like you are in another country because the choice if drinks esoecially the coffees is huge. The salads are amazing and you never know what will be on your plate today. There are daily specials to die for. Actually even if you opt for a simple sandwhich it will be amazing. They have a nice garden area too.I just wish they would open longer to include weekend evenings as its such a special place.

Spotlessly clean, lovely owners, beautiful food and a pretty garden to sit in when the weather allows. Worth a visit .

The food here is always fresh so you may have to wait for it but it is definitely worth it especially the tortilla or the tarts with a medium Swiss salad which is what I would recommend that you haveThe portions are if a good size and the staff are knowledgeable There are daily cakes and scones available but go early as they do sell out and stop doing lunches quite early Sit in the garden if you like dependant on the weatherThey have toilets here which are clean and tidyRecommended - Enjoy

We have always found this to be a very good little cafe .Good food prepared and cooked by Alfredo, his salads are a must a good healthy option to his other great meals.Always made welcome.If going for a lunch i would advise to book a table

My Mum and I have been going to Sue and Alfredo's for many years and we still love it. Whether it is breakfast, lunch or just a coffee this is definitely the place to go. I love the separate coffee menu with such a great choice and their daily lunch specials are always delicious and cooked from scratch by Alfredo. Sue's salads are a must try too such a wonderful selection. Andy is a great asset too.

This time round the cafe was so busy that we couldn't get a table, but when visiting Bexhill I always make a beeline for it! so I would recommend others to do the same. The menu is always interesting and unlike the average cafe fare, and it has good vegetarian options.

We lunched here with our children and were very impressed. The staff were lovely and well-trained, the food was delicious, and the cafe was very child-friendly. We would definitely recommend this place, and we will be coming here again.
