After two years peeing off most of the neighbourhood with noise and litter and building a live music venue, without planning permission next door to residential gardens, these squatters are finally getting the boot. Shame that the charity that own the building are now heavily out of pocket.

After hearing about Aesop’s my girlfriend and I decided to check it out. We booked a table for 9 people and we’re greeted at the door. When we were escorted through to the back where the space opened up and was a lovely outdoor/indoor area with a wood burner and live music. The pizzas were delicious and a nice ale on tap, great selection of other drinks too. Thanks for a lovely evening. I highly recommend this place 😊

Such a welcoming venue with very friendly staff, great decor, food and toilets! There is an outside as well as an indoor space. It was also lovely that they had a real wood burning stove there which smelt brilliant and reminded me of the past.

On the corner of St Mark's Road and Brenner Street. Lots of plants, lots of books - I noticed The Plague by Albert Camus, haven't seen that for 40 years, wonder why that's suddenly back? I wanted an espresso. And I rather fancied a tahini cookie, fresh out of the oven. Espresso was good, cookie was great! We would all be vegans if they did more stuff like that Don't miss the paintings of Aesop's Fables on the outside wall - a work in progress

Alisa gave the most wonderful advice and breakdown of all the drinks we had interest in. Such a lovely girl who gave the customers all the time they needed. It was wonderful to be greeted with such a warm happy smile and clearly cared about making someone else’s day better. Thank you Aliza (sorry if I’ve messed up the spelling)

Arch House Boyces Avenue Clifton, Bristol BS8 4AA EnglandOh wow!! What a lovely place. We visited here for the first time on our yearly trip to Bristol and it was wonderful. It's in a nice pretty location at Clifton village, by a little quant street with other eateries and pretty shops. It had a really lovely vibe. We sat outside and soaked up the atmosphere. Very relaxing. The lady who served us was so welcoming and friendly and gave us plenty of time to choose (so many delicious things to choose from it took us a while!!) The cafe is pretty inside, it also has a little shop area selling gifts and house things. There is such a wonderful selection of vegan cakes and drinks. The cakes looked amazing. They certainly know how to showcase vegan cakes. I wanted to try all of them 😋 The drink selection was really good too, lots of unusual things to try. The lavender coffee was delicious. All in all, the food, atmosphere, drinks and service was fantastic and we'll certainly return on our next visit to Bristol. This place was a highlight of our visit. Just wish we didn't live so far away....this would be a regular coffee and cake stop for us 😋😋😋
