Worst food I've ever eaten, coffee too. Ordered breakfast, sausages deep fried, beans cold, bacon salty and torn apart hidden under decent hash browns and eggs with yolks broken. Plate rim's had been wiped but we're still smeared with oil/butter. Latte was basically warm milk, formed a scum on top after 3 mins, then again after removing, then again after drinking half. Staff were nice though. Except chef sat at the bar who has absolutely no business being anywhere near food.

Always enjoy the food here, great atmosphere and helpful and fun loving staff, Carrie especially.

Met friends for food and drinks after work as we wanted to try the new Xmas menu & fastive drinks I ordered the giant pigs in blanket with a yorkie. The staff are so friendly and helpful even helping me bring our drinks over nothing is ever too much for them. We was served my carrie & Anne we had a good laugh with them. Weve planned our nxt visit to try the rest of the Xmas menu we all highly recommend a visit here.

I my self had just worked a 10 hour shift..server at the bar was so miserable and just couldn't be bothered.i even asked her had she had a bad day and she said no..really guys you got to get better bar staff it wasn't even busy...the lad that came on and took my food order was an absolute star.. however that first interaction at the bar is so important and she stuffed up my whole night..

I visit here regularly the staff are fabulous and very witty . The prices are reasonable

Had a few drinks today ,lovely pub prices very resonable ,served by stacey who was very welcoming .

Went in a large group today and the service was great from Stacey. Food was basic but good for the price and brought out very quickly.

Popped in here last Thursday for food and ended up staying for the bingo and karaoke 🎤 £2.70 a pint and £5 meals… The staff couldn’t do enough for us we will definitely be back 😁

Food was delicious and really cheap too, we got 2 meals a few extra food items and a drink for £14 which I thought was a bargain, highly recommend this place if you are ever at the Stand shopping centre, go here for lunch, you won't be disappointed 🥰

Pub is brilliant been coming here for about 6 years now staff are very nice. Food and drink lovely and loads of televisions for sports.

Visited a couple of days ago for the first time with friends and we will definitely be back. £5 meals and really good quality for the price. Cheapest pint we have had in a long time, £2.70 for majority of the draught. Atmosphere was great and the staff were all lovely plus the place is spotless. Definitely recommend.

Drank here for a while now with family and friends love the pub staff great but told this weekend my Coors drink is no longer available I don't like strong larger and it's pricier than Coors so my party went over the road instead don't know why it's gone because lots of customers drink it

Food and service was really good but I didn't like the atmosphere it was a just a bit too like a old man's pub I wouldn't take children in there

alright atmosphere, very lively. Ordered 2 cocktails on the app but lad who brought them over said to me 'can you come the bar next time coz we're too busy'... Not sure why they have the app then if they can't handle it! I too work in a pub that has an app and i would never dream of asking that, table service is an option for a reason.

Me and friends came for my friend’s birthday I was able to pre book our table and leave banners and that ready for when we arrived Staff was great luke sammy and Anne great atmosphere and really good offers on drinks and the new 5pound menu if a bargain the burgers was really nice and so filling Emma the chef did a great job Thanks again to all the staff we will be back and trying other items on the new menu

New menu is really good, service was quick, even though the pub was busy on a Saturday afternoon. Very reasonably priced, the burgers, chicken wings & fajita pasta all highly recommended. Also they do a very good pint of Guinness. Samantha behind the bar had a great attitude & was really smiley and friendly.

Disgusting food do not recommend and horrible staff

Met up with friends on sat for food and drinks they have a new menu everything for £5 and icecreams for £2.50 I had the pasta whilst my friends had ordered a pie and burgers. what can I say but wow the pasta was unreal & my friends where happy with their choices compliments to the chef/chef’s. staff here are friendly and always talking & laughing away with the customers which is really nice to see. Ben brought our food to us he such a lovely young lad and very helpful we also got chatting to Carrie Stacey and Luke at the bar they had such banter we had a laugh. We’ve already planned our next visit.

I haven't been to the Addison arms for many years and today I can honestly say that I will be there more often. Great prices for drinks and all meals £5! The service is good and the food lovely.

The breakfast burger is fantastic, whilst the hash browns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Breakfast here is excellent, whilst the rest of the menu also offers enough options to enjoy a meal.

Great atmosphere in the Addison Arms, came to watch the match a few pints with my son last week. Great team behind the bar, tall bald barman was great to banter with can't thank him enough for the service he gave us. We will be back for the next game!

Moved to bootle and made here my local..friendly atmosphere and the staff go above and beyond (especially Stacey, Sam and Luke) to make the customers feel welcome. Food is lovely too!

Recently came here to watch the Liverpool match, we ordered all of our drinks on the app and these came surprisingly quick considering how busy the venue was. The staff delivered them with a smile. You can tell the venue is really well ran with great staff who enjoy being there. Can’t wait to come back!

Food was really nice, I had the katsu curry and sticky toffee pudding. Was served by really friendly staff, and the food came quickly.

Katsu was nice but not enough sauce, glad I didn't order rice. Chicken wings were not dizzled in any sauce with jalapeños, very dry. Veg...Well haha bullets. Burger bun was burnt on top. Beer was flat. Wine was nice but service was from a nice girl but could do with smiling. Guy who brought food, was happy enough.

Great pub in the middle of Bootle Strand. We came for the derby and it was really busy, the atmosphere was great and we still got served quickly. Decent pint of Moretti as well.

Went in there on Sunday, who ever the barmaid was with jet black hair in her late 50s . Kept me at the bar serving every one else and people pointed out she's been waiting serve her first. Gave me wrong drinks and my boyfriend was is shock as she was serving him bending over and being very flirtatious. Went in for a few drinks not to be glared at by an average looking drug addict. Wouldn't waste money going bak in there.

The all day brekkie is okay, but I was given cremated toast, it was literally black, how can the chef or the waiter send that to someone? Makes you look stupid

With the closure of other public houses, we visited the Addison Arms in hope of a nice lunch. We were gladly surprised, We visit her sister location in Crosby regularly. So now we have two great venues to eat at

It's ok. Can smell the... Aroma let's call it, from the men's toilet throughout. Always busy, bar staff seem unpleasant. Food is nice, served quick and hot. I'd recommend wellies and a nose peg for the restroom (male)

I visited Addison arms last week with my family for some food and drinks, we had a table booked and was sat at our table straight away all ready for us. Service behind the bar was amazing, Luke and the team that were in went above and beyond for our us. Didn’t wait long for food to arrive and the food was spot on couldn’t complain!!! Addison is the place to be not just in Bootle but anywhere on the planet. The atmosphere is electric, as is the house vodka. I was born tone death but after a Friday afternoon in this great place my singing voice and Shere confidence explode into action. Thank you Addisons and thanks to all of Bootle

We have never been here before, we arrived with my husband and 4 children. Waiting at bar for nearly 10 minutes to put order in, lady arrives with a attitude and takes order (lisa I think she may be called ) ,food came was ok for the price of nearly £50. When finished I went to the bar and asked for desserts, we waited 15 minutes then I went to the bar to chase it up , the same lady just said " hang on" I went back to the table waiting a further 10 mins , I asked the lady this time for a refund on desserts, her response was she would go see what the chef was doing first and to just wait. We was still waiting and our children where getting agitated so we ended up just leaving after waiting over half a hour just for ice cream ! We Didn't get a refund in the end as no one was behind the bar at time of leaving and there was a big que. Shame really but will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Disappointed is a understatement!
