Absolutely superb food I cannot recommend highly enough. A vast menu covering your traditional curry but also real South Indian cuisine . Freshly prepared and with such depth and flavour and staff so friendly our family could not of asked for better . We will be back.

THIS IS MY FAVOURITE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD. This food is different to the standard UK Indian, this feels more like home cooked Indian food and we all find it easier to digest, I assume because they don't use cheap vegetable oil. Lovely people, the prices are competitive despite the quality being higher than the norm. My daughter orders korma but its nothing like the bland korma you normally get, even I would order a korma here. The breads are varied and amazing. We visit regularly and will continue to do so. If youre looking for authentic south indian food then you will like it here.

Visited with friends on a Saturday night. The food was amazing. Love Indian food and this restaurant is in a league of its own. You can tell the dishes are all made from scratch. All of us left very full and happy. Would highly recommend.

If you know Indian food you know rice. The rice is perfect and the staff will give you what you want if you describe to them. Couldn't recommend more the extra effort they make for those that respect what they're cooking and doing. Right up there for best dishes that I've ate

Fantastic food but shame about the service. Ordered takeaway for delivery was over one hour late after confirmed arrival time and missing food when it finally arrived. Not the service you would expect after spending best part of £100 and want repeat custom!

The food is amazing. Totally different to the usual Indian cuisine as this is South Indian, not Bangladeshi. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant

An ordinary south Indian food. I ordered Prantha assuming it will be in shape of bread but revealed it was crushed chopped in the curry hence it becomes soggy. No crispy prantha at all.

Read reviews and thought great but sadly delivery was late, wrong order and warm at best. Quality of food was average and that’s being kind. Won’t try again

Sorry to say but I used to love 7spice food. I have to give one start. I oder veg manchurian £5.25 per 6 manchuria really small and taste stale ,veg noodles taste gone off. It's cost me nearly £10. Food taste like leftover. Not happy at all. When you open restaurants it's used to be nice food Not anymore. Really disappointed . It's used to be my favourite restaurant.

For authentic South Indian this is the place to come, first time in the UK I have found a place that does actual South Indian filter coffee!

Just ordered a mixed grill and I am shocked to find such little food for £15. I can go to Kushi grill in Coventry and get double the food for a mix grill. Also just to top it off found a hair in our chilli chips which aren't actually chilli. Will not be ordering from this place again a waste off £33.

So ive lived in Hinckley for 5 years now and have just sampled the delicious food at 7th Spice. We ordered 7 dishes for a takeaway and everything was so packed with great flavours and different to your average indian restaurant. Will definetely be a returning customer.

This place is a hidden gem in Hinckley . Don’t be fooled by that small exterior the restaurant is vast. The staff are so lovely and attentive.The food is fantastic so full of flavour and I always make sure I try a new dish every time we visit.If you want good food you won’t be disappointed the staff are also so welcoming and friendly throughout

Amazing place, great meal, friendly staff and a lovely clean restaurant. As it was such a hot evening it was a pleasure to sit in such lovely cool ( thanks for their air conditioning) setting. From the outside it looks so small but once in it opens up to a spacious modern restaurant. We will certainly be returning .

South Indian restaurant with other choices of your favourites on the menu. Take-away and home delivery also available. A small entrance opens up to a large area and is very busy at times so best to book early. Local carpark is at back of restaurant and is about a 50M walk to the entrance.

Once again a really lovely meal! This is my vegetarian daughters favourite restaurant as there are so many veggie options, so she chose to celebrate her 11th birthday here! Couldn’t fault a thing, staff really friendly and helpful, food delicious as always! We were allowed to take own birthday cake and the waiters all got involved with singing. Thank you she had a lovely time!

Korma is meant to be very mild. Restaurant said its all they can do so clearly not made from fresh. Very disappointed

An absolute gem in Hinckley serving some more authentic dishes as well as expected favourites. Loads of choice, I love their lamb shank and dosa. The service is always attentive and friendly.

We've had 2 take aways from 7 Spices now and both have been just lovely. I highly recommend the Lamb Saag which I had with coconut rice (gorgeous) and my husband loved the lamb shanks. It made a great change from our usual Burbage go-to. I'm looking forward to another take away in a few weeks!

We decided we wanted a curry and this place is the go to for a good curry, We ordered online for delivery and had a couple of issues with the payment process however after a couple of attempts it worked and showed our order would arrive in 35 minutes. It came roughly around this time maybe a few minutes quicker which was good. We ordered the poppadoms and dips, for starter I had the 'Kozhi Varuval' which was really nice and would have again, for the main I had the 'chicken tikka masala' and 'coconut rice' which were both nice and would also have again. We also had a 'keema cheese naan' and a 'garlic cheese naan' which were both ok however they were not overly big and both were quite flattened. There wasn't much keema, cheese or garlic which was a shame however would still have them again. Overall the food arrived quickly, the food was fresh, hot and tasted good. Would recommend this place

Wow, what incredible food, fantastic service by all the staff and great recommendations of dishes I may like by Raj. He wasn’t wrong either. Spent the last few years going to one restaurant but ‘help out’ killed it. Have now been to 7H 5 times and the food gets better. Having been to Goa the good is heavily influenced but true authentic cuisine. Even my friends on the last outing were flabbergasted by the flavours and service.

I have been using 7H for a few years since they opened. In the past their food and customer service has been excellent yet the past two orders have put me off ordering food from here indefinitely. One of my recent orders contained the wrong food (which was rectified through a free dish with my next order). Yet when I came to place my next order I was confronted rather rudely by a member of staff who stated that that wasn’t the case and that I would only have a contribution to the price of a dish. He was very rude and unhelpful. When my food arrived it was of the poorest quality, rice was cold, tikka masala was half full and didn’t look or taste like usual at all and the overall order was not to the quality or standard as stated by many other reviewers. I am very disappointed with the service and quality from this restaurant. Such a shame as we used to use this restaurant a lot.

I can’t really comment on the food here to be fair as it never turned up. Called them and made an order for a takeaway and I was told it would be within the hour. I asked the gentleman on the phone how much the total order was and he said “I will let you know”. I kind of wanted to know how much before they set off for delivery hence why I asked. The gentleman on the telephone simply hung up on me after asking him several times if he could let me know how much the order was going to be. So we sat and waited the hour they said it would take and nothing turned up. Called them to chase and when I say called them we went well into double figures here with no answer. These guys must be really busy to shun business down over asking a very relative and simple question. Very very poor customer service 7H Spices. Shame because I am new to the area and I eat Indian takeaway at least 2-3 times a week. Your loss is most definitely somebody else’s gain!!!!!

Some of the food was good..one of the guys threw it all up at 2am and the rest of us didnt feel great afterwards either. Overall not going back.

7H spices is one of the nicest Indain restaurants I've been to in a very long time. The menu and choice of dishes is well explained. Have been a few times now and would recommend it to anyone. One good option is you can pre order meal on line when booking.

This was our second visit to the restaurant and this time we attended with friends. Again we were made to feel at home with all staff friendly and helpful. We ordered our starters and our friends (who visit Asian restaurants regularly) commented they were probably the best starters they had ever had. I have to say our mains were just as good and none of the food was overly priced unlike some other Asian restaurants I have reviewed recently. All in all an excellent evening was had by all and if we are in the area again we will return as will our friends. During our visit all Covid regulations were adhered to by staff and customers. One last thing there is a pay and display car park at the rear of the restaurant which I believe is free after 1800.

We stayed in Leicester for the evening and wanted somewhere nice to eat so chose this restaurant as it's highly recommended. Well what can I say!! The food is absolutely stunning. Very clean, fresh and tasty. One of the best meals out I've had in a long time. The pricing is very reasonable too and the staff so friendly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you want beautiful food, cooked extremely well. Thank you 7H Spice. You are worth the drive to Leicester and we will be back!

If you want to try traditional southern Indian food this is the place to go it was a great menu difficult to choose we opted for one of the in house Currys which was a great change from the usual British invented Indian food and such nice people very attentive

Excellent fine South Indian food and a family friendly atmosphere. Love the vegetarian food. Really looked after my parents who were high risk patients, made sure appropriate measures were taken to safe guard all dinners!! Nothing was too much trouble!The food is excellent What else to do need to know, and very reasonably priced.

Excellent food, lovely air con on the hottest day of the year. Covid compliance followed. Outstanding paneer and southern Indian dishes, along with the must have potato pancake. Food inspired by the Kerala region of India, somewhere I was lucky enough to visit last year.

We were excited to finally meet up and enjoy a lovely meal from our favourite restaurant in Hinckley and arrived at 7pm. However no track and trace details were requested from us. The restaurant was full, all the usual tables are still in the resturant - like packed sardines with no social distancing measures. We had our order taken by a young girl who was in a facemask at around half 7. One starter arrived at 8.20pm, the others arrived at 8.40pm by a male server WITHOUT a facemask. After speaking to the table next to us (they were that close we could hear each others conversations clear as day) they also shared the same poor experience but also praised the female members of staff for being so polite and all with facemasks.Our mains arrived after we chased the staff, twice, at 9.30pm.Yes, the food was good quality as always, but the lack of facemask from ALL male serving staff (however bar man was in a facemask) and lack of the track and trace option was off-putting to say the least. We won't be going back any time soon.

Had a meal last night, lovely food and I cant say it wasn't but the social distancing/COVID measurements where not followed!! They seemed very over booked given the regulations they're supposed to be following. Some of the staff were wearing mask but not all them. When leaving I noticed the waiting area was packed with no social distancing either.

Ordered online for delivery later, first time we had ordered from 7H Spices. Only used them because neither of our usuals, Leeja or the Windsor Tiffin seemed to offer online ordering as far as I could tell and I preferred to do that rather than wait until 5pm or so and take a chance on getting through on the phone. Food was perfect and arrived close to the expected time and included free poppodoms. Can't fault it and will definitely use again.

Due to the current climate we ordered a few meals here, unfortunately delivery was unavailable due to staff shortages.Collection was made and everyone kept their distance.Fantastic meals and will order again soon.Looking forward to eating here at a later date when this horrible, horrible virus has gone away.

We have ate many times at this amazing restaurant. Never been disappointed. During these unusual times tonight we decided to order a takeaway from them for the first time. The food was just as great delivered as in the restaurant. Quick delivery and great value. We will certainly be ordering again whilst in lockdown and can't wait to visit the restaurant once we get back to normal

I like curry. I mean I REALLY like curry. And I have eaten a lot over the years. I have had many currys in Leicester and Birmingham and always thought these were the places to go and up until now I was satisfied. But after having a take away from this place on mothers day I can say that this is most definately the best by far that I have ever had. You only have to open the lid and the waft of fresh spices is just mouth watering. Cant recommend enough. Just as a tip though... because the spices are so fresh, you might find meals have stronger flavours (so if you like mild flavours you best say)

We decided we wanted a curry so ordered a takeaway online while we were travelling back home so we could just stop off here to collect first. It said about 45 minutes till it was ready but we thought that it might be ready a bit sooner but we still had to wait about 20 minutes after arriving till it was ready. The place wasn't as busy as I thought it would be for the time and day it was. I had onion bhaji which was nice for the starter, for the main I had chicken korma which came with a good amount of chicken, I also had coconut rice which was nice. I also had a keema nan which was also nice. I would recommend coming here as this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Hinckley.

From day one of the restaurant I like it as it serves authentic tasty south Indian food. It is different from many restaurants in Hinckley.

I am really surprised to write this review.... I read so many amazing ones before our visit. The place was almost empty on.a Saturday night.... hubby asked for a curry recommendation that was spicy hot... it was no where near, no heat at all. All the dishes seemed like they were made with the same base which meant same flavour running throughout both with starter and main. Curry and chickpea side dish looked and tasted the same. I had the lamb dosa and whilst it looked nice tasted like it had shepherds pie in it! Sorry we won’t be returning..

Great food friendly staff good value

I was staying in Hinckley with a visually disabled work colleague. I found 7H on google, where it looked nice, but you never know. Booking a table online was easy & I received an acknowledgement. When we arrived, the entrance was tiny & not at all impressive, but get inside and it opens up like the tardis. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and there was no issue over my colleague’s guidedog. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. They even gave us a Dosa to try free of charge. We had a very pleasant evening and will definitely visit again if in the area.

Visited for the 3rd time and food was as good as always, they seem to have condensed the menu which is good. We had three courses, poppadums and a soft drink each and the bill was £44 which is great :) both our curries were wonderful and the home made kulfi and range of vegetarian options are wonderful

Amazing food, the best in the area.

The food is always delicious here. Appreciate they are able to cater to vegans. The staff are great, my only constructive feedback is that it would be nice for them to check in to see if the tables wants more drinks and to take the order a little more promptly. However, the food is so great that this doesn’t bother me so much. Would recommend.

I went last night 19/2/2020. After going to Simla last week which was very good, decided to try this as it had better reviews. Faith restored in tripadvisor as it really was a great experience with excellent food. Can’t fault.

Wow, my wife and I came across this restaurant a couple of years ago. Everything from start to finish is perfect here. All the staff are so welcoming and always there to assist and help with choices from the menu. Food is excellent. Definitely value for money.
