Me and my boyfriend ate here tonight & we can honestly say this place is one of the best in Hinckley! Amazing service, Ross was our waiter and made our experience a lot better! Definitely recommend and will be returning 🙂

I’ve been to this Indian many times and I have to say they have messed up are order 3 times at one time they send us the wrong curry out to my house and said it was chicken tikka masala and when I rang up told. Me it was and it definitely wasn’t refused to refund us absolutely awful because I loved this India

Delicious food great customer service

Having been to all the other Indian restaurants in Hinckley Bangla Pride is by far the best. Theres a great selection and everything tastes fantastic. The staff are really good too and are very attentive but not overly bearing.

Had an amazing meal here - first visit and will definitely be returning! Service was brilliant - brought us out a complementary curry dish to try - and a baileys at the end of the meal. We had poppadoms which were great - shashlick chicken and veg samosa starters - both lovely. For mains we had garlic naans, plain rice, a paneer Balti and a chicken rezzela which was fresh and delicious. All the food was flavourful, had a great balance of spices and herbs. When we couldn’t finish it all was even bagged up to take home 😊 So impressed have booked a meal for my sons 13th birthday here in 2 weeks time

Went for an impromptu meal out this evening with my partner and 10 yr old, the food was amazing, the staff made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us we even had a lovely chat with the owner after our meal, we can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We will definitely be back for more!

I love this restaurant . It was amazing from the starting poppadoms to the delicious after dinner chocolate. Very family friendly. Rasel,our waiter was so kind to my little brother, although really everyone was superb If I could, I would give this 10 out of 5. This was the best restaurant I have ever been to .

Excellent in every way. Food is excellent. Customer services excellent. The staff were very friendly and made you feel really welcome . They go out of their way to make sure your experience is nothing less than excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants I have had the pleasure to visit. Nice to be offered a complimentary baileys at the end of the meal with chocolate was a lovely finishing touch. Definitely worth a visit will be back again soon.

Had a pleasant dinner at Bangla Pride. Service was good, friendly waiters. Food was fresh and hot. The spring roll in the Bangla bites was a bit spicy but that's personal taste only. Restaurant was clean and had modern decor. Nice touches with flowers on the tables. The chairs were a bit too heavy to move easily. Overall enjoyable meal 😋

Food was very good service diabolical we ordered are starter 30mins later it came very nice we finished our starter's 40mins later our main came also very nice but the service needs sorting out a total of 70 minutes wait for food from start to finish is not acceptable on a scale of 1 - 10 ten high Food a 9 service 1

First time to this place visiting my home town from Australia with an old friend close to closing time. We were welcomed with open arms and a great meal that was value for money and had service with a smile. I’ve since recommended this to my family who do still live locally. Someone called this place best Indian restaurant in Hinckley ! This is a joke . Rubbish food and staff is weird . Even the serving size is a joke . That’s not Indian food or even close , don’t know what that is .

Wish we had read reviews before visiting. Decided to go for an early curry. Greeted warmly and guided to a table quickly. Drinks order was taken promptly and so far so good. We ordered poppadoms, chicken pakora, vegetable sagwala, chicken byriani and naan. My husbands pakora was dry and tasteless but we didn't think too much on it - the mains arrived - presented very well, portion sizes were very generous, and the first few mouthfuls tasted OK as we were hungry but... both dishes were actually pretty tasteless, in fact my husbands byriani sauce was just sweet tomato and my sagwala was mush, the only recognisable veg in it was diced carrot and sweetcorn which appeared to be from a supermarket frozen bag. It was also a little burnt, like it had caught in the pan, been scraped off and then stirred back in. The naan was very nice, but maybe the chef should stick to baking rather than cooking. We only went here because our usual favourite Millennium Balti is closed on Tuesday, but the food wasn't a patch on MB and we won't be returning. The staff were very attentive, if a little too attentive. My husband was questioned as to why he didn't eat all of his byriani, and told them it was very dry, not enough sauce provided and the portion size could have fed 3. We were offered complimentary brandy, but we declined and left feeling underwhelmed after spending £40 on a way below standard meal. Also this restaurant only has a 3 star hygiene rating, which we found out after, conveniently not displayed in the restaurant, which also meant we lost sleep worrying whether we'd be woken by stomach cramps or worse. Never again.

Whenever we are in Hinckley we use Bangla Pride for takeaways. The menu is good, the food excellent and the service top notch, the only time we ever had an issue was when we received a chicken curry instead of vegetable, after a brief phone call, the driver dropped off a fresh vegetable curry with sundries so cannot fault them. Highly recommended

We've been using Bangla Pride for many years now, and we have never had a problem, 95% of meals have been superb, but last night I had a delivery of Chicken Bhuna & Roti, the same dish which was brilliant a month ago, however this time was a total disaster, a container full of hard pieces of chicken in a tasteless slop of brown mess, no onion, no capsicum, and no tomato & no taste whatsoever. The worst, most awful meal I have ever had from a Indian/Bangladesh in 40 years of eating my favourite food. Something went very wrong just wish I knew. Never before have I put a curry in the bin, last night was the first. I will try again again though, this was just appalling & not like the normal high quality.

Too cramped and service really slow. The food was ok just average so quite tasty bit nothing to rave about. I appreciate you need to maximise profits by serving as many people as possible but it was just too crammed and not enough staff to cope. We could barely hear each other talk sitting next to and opposite each other.

The size of the lamb and chicken pieces was cut quite small, probably the cost of living! I sooner pay more for a good portion of meat!

Ordered a balti and what was delivered was so spicy hot it took 10 minutes for my taste buds to recover. Sorry guys that wasn't a good balti and won't be rushing back anytime soon

The place was absolute fantastic, clean and Tidy. When its on food, i will give 10/10. The service was very polite aswell. People living in Heinkly, must try once🤤.

Ordered a selection of dishes to cater for our various tastes. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and plenty of it. I had vegetable biriani and I really think it was the best I’ve ever had. My Bombay potatoes were delicious too, potatoes well cooked in a delicious sauce. My sister and husband will be taking their leftovers home to the North East tomorrow and I will have another day without cooking.

Absolutely appalling. Would give 0 stars if I could. Naan breads were burnt, food was cold and flavourless, delivery was late. Worst of all, there were chunks of plaster found in our curry! Ordered via just eat... have noticed that they've recently renewed their just eat subscription so all past reviews have been lost. Feel sorry for the poor people who order on there in the future without being able to view what came before. Avoid.

A lovely little restaurant and the staff are friendly. Rasen was very helpful with helping to choose dishes. The £15 meal deal is very good value. Give it a try you can't go far wrong.

I don’t often leave reviews but felt one was warranted after this evenings meal. It was the first time eating in for a while and the first thing I noticed was the change in menu. Being a little set in my way, I asked for what I usually have but was not on the menu. Of course you can have what you wish I was told, and given exactly that. I have to say that of all the years I have been eating this dish, it was the best I have ever had. Excellent food, excellent friendly service and competitive prices. Really cannot recommend Bangla Pride enough. Thank you. Paul Tomkins

Things have most definitely gone down hill, since the ownership changed. Have used this restaurant on many occasions and have always found the food to be of the highest quality and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. This is certainly now not the case. I would now not recommend this restaurant.

I came down from Leeds to spend some time with my son and his family in Hinckley who took me here on a Saturday evening for a meal and what a treat it was. We went early in the evening when it wasn't too busy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent, I will definitely go again when I am in the area 👍

Having been customers for 14 years it was a shock when the ownership changed. The atmosphere has headed south, the new staff are hopeless and unfortunately the new chef can't cook. From the best place to eat in Hinckley it must now be one of the worst. The menu has been deleted and replaced with the new owners ego trip. The quality of the food is awful and all of the lovely favorites have disappeared into the ether. The new owner appears to arrogant and oblivious to the fact he is destroying one of the towns favorite eateries. I don't think the empty tables and need to put special offers on to fill them has even registered. The end of a beautiful friendship.

Enjoyed a very tasty and well priced meal (went out of their way to cater for a vegan). Friendly staff, clean premises and can take your own booze. Busy for a Tuesday night plus there was a steady stream of take-out orders. Will definitely be back.

Bangla pride used to be our go to place for a curry but I'm really said to say not anymore! The new management have ruined not only the food but also the atmosphere. Our curries were mediocre at best and naan bread was awful. Not been the same since Josh left but had desperately fell below good now. Such a shame as we have been regular customers for over 12 years

Just had the worst meal from here been a customer for many years but since its changed management its gone down hill all I can say is what used to be a fabulous tasty chicken naga is now a watery tasteless dish and the naan was still doughy don't think I will be going back anytime soon really disappointed but the staff are amazing and welcoming but with their prices going up and the standard of food going down really can't recommend it bring back josh it was great restaurant when he was there

Terrible, two occasions I've ordered from here for delivery, 1st time waited over an hour for delivery and there was things missing from the order, 2nd time of ordering and had to wait 2 hours for delivery, food was a waste and again things missing from the order, won't be ordering from here again!

We love coming to bangla pride always friendly staff I ordered some thing different this time I had a chicken tikka pathia I quite fancied the sound of sweets sour taste but when I started eating it it was getting hotter n hotter when asking for some yogurt to cool it down josh took it away and got me a new one not as hot my own fault but they were brittant so friendly & good advice on what suits you thank you

Put order in at 5pm for an ASAP delivery- restaurant opened at 5:30pm, expected delivery to be ASAP. Rang the restaurant at 6:30pm ( 1 hour after opening) to be told that my order was ready and delivery driver was walking through the door and food would be give to him ASAP to deliver. An additional 40 minutes passed and still no order - rang restaurant again to say no driver is in, I was told that he never said delivery driver was there and the next driver would be 5 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes to then get a phone call from delivery driver saying he’s been knocking the door & ringing doorbell for 5 mins, been around the back of the house and everything - we heard nothing, purposely stayed quiet in the house so we could hear because we were starving! Opened the door to get the food and delivery driver was down the other end of the street, nowhere near my house - poor excuses. Definitely wouldn’t get a takeaway from here.

Treat regular customers badly. I've had either wrong food delivered time after time or as I'm typing this it's been nearly 3 hrs for my food to arrive. After calling many times and kept been told another 20 mins over and over they said the food would be free. Although this is the least they could of done the food is awful. Never using them again. 1 star for this kind of service is too high.

Food normally great. Service absolute rubbish if you can't get food when you order 2.5 hours before you expect it don't bother. Go elsewhere. Pants

Used to think this was the best Indian restaurant in Hinckley but after my last 3 visits including tonight I will be taking my custom elsewhere. The meals on the 2 previous visits were poor to say the least although we were compensated with free wine, and the promise that we would get what we were actually promised from the wine list , tonight upon arrival asking for the wine we were promised we were informed that the wine was no longer available, even though I had been assured the night before that it would be available and that I would not be charged for it as recompense for the previous 2 ill fated visits. When I asked to see Tim, the waiter informed me and my wife that Tim was down the cellar sorting it, this was a lie as Tim was in the kitchen sorting out takeaways and customer orders. the food served was of a reasonable standard but the service was dreadful we were left waiting for nearly 20 minutes after requesting the bill, we still have not received the wine that we requested and that was put on the new wine menu which they now no longer serve. All in all a very poor service record over our last 3 visits, I am all for giving somewhere the benefit of the doubt but this is no beyond a joke. Tim if you are reading this then I am sorry I have had to go to these lengths but poor service and poor customer service get results like this.

Takeaway ordered and delivered swiftly! Very friendly and helpful service. All dishes tasted fresh and healthy, great range to choose from. Took advantage of discounts offered by calling Banglapride direct. This is going to be our regular takeaway from now on, couldn't fault them, thank you.

Travellwed down from London and stopped off to have a beautiful dinner at a lovely authentic Bangladeshi restaurant service was outstanding and the food was top dollar. Compliments to the chef and to the service crew. Really made us feel welcome and adored the kids.

After 3 years of still trying to find a decent Indian restaurant in/near Hinckley, thought I'd give Bangla a go. Ordered on line for collection and given 19:15 as collection time, but wasn't ready until 19:35. The food was actually very tasty, but still not exactly right for me (chicken jalfrezi) it's probably one of the better places I've tried, so give it a go. Not disappointed, but I'm super picky when it come to Indian food. Nice pleasant staff helped the situation

Absolutely brilliant!! Had a great curry last night. Knowledge of gluten free (coeliac - not a fad) was really good. Even came out and said couldn't guarantee the poppadoms were gf because the mixture comes from India. I said it was on my head if I was ill but no adverse side effects yet! Definitely going back - thank you guys!!

I ordered online and the website was really simple to navigate. The delivery was quicker than quoted and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly. The food was beautiful, hot and extremely tasty. We all had a different curry and they were all delicious. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money too. Will be a regular from now on.

Love it. My favourite restaurant/curry house in the Hinckley area. Specialising in Bangladeshi cuisine, but honestly they will tailor any dish to your taste. So friendly and amenable. Excellent quality food, lovely dining experience. Great for takeaways during lockdown too😁

Food was amazing as always, and the service was fantastic. The restaurant is well-priced, and has a pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend reserving due to limited space, but well worth it!

We ordered our meal online and I forgot to order my husband's curry (whoops). I mistakenly thought the restaurant had missed it off our order. I went back to pick it up (they don't deliver to our area) and they gave me the dish for free even though it was my error entirely. Such lovely blokes - they were so sweet about it. The food was all really good. Mostly vegetarian dishes - it was great to be able to choose what vegetables were added to the sauce. I'd say it's the best one we've had since going into lockdown. So, great customer service and really tasty food - what more can you ask for. Thanks chaps!

Visited last night and can honestly say I was not disappointed. Staff went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant and relaxed. One staff member noticed I was hot and put the fan on for me! Brilliant service. Food was absolutely amazing. Very tender chicken and all was well cooked and hot. Only downside if I had to give one would be how busy it was due to a works party. Will 100% be going back. Thank you for such a lovely dining experience.

Lovely place. Thought we'd take advantage of the government 50% off. First time trying this place and would 100% return. They were polite and food was simply great. The picture below is a starter. Salmon Chicken Beef Pakora Timing was a bit off as they were a tad understaffed. But they were all working hard. Credit to them.

Recently started ordering takeout food from here, and it’s become a weekly occurrence in our house due to the outstanding taste and quality. The staff are always incredibly kind and friendly, service is swift and the food is delicious. My partner enjoys the spicier dishes and I have to admit it’s so rare to find a spicier dish that you can taste each individual flavour (as opposed to it just tasting ‘spicy’). The portions are always generous (although there never much left because it’s too tasty to stop eating ) Honestly the best in Hinckley and if you haven’t been here before I highly suggest you go.

Never ever had a bad meal from bangla pride consistently beautiful food! We had a delivery this evening which arrived in good time, food was piping hot and plentiful and i even received 30% discount as I work for the NHS. Can’t wait for my next bangla pride fix thank you!

Had three meals delivered during lockdown. Food arrived pretty quickly in the circumstances. Highlight has to be the Chicken Naga, hot, but not stupid! Great service in difficult circumstances. Thanks for my regular hot food kick!
