Came across Bangla Pride following a Google search and found my new go to Indian restaurant 😁 The food was divine and the staff were incredible- helpful and lovely. Will 100% be returning and would happily recommend to anyone in search of having a lovely meal served by amazing people ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered a takeaway, the wait time was 80 mins for delivery- understandable as it is a Friday evening. Food was delivered almost 20 mins late, there was a missing item and the food was nothing special.

Top service and food was spot on. Eaten at loads of curry restaurants but this one is the best.

I've been here twice in the last few weeks, the last time a couple of days ago and after a late midweek meeting. With a colleague, we called in well after 8pm. We were well received, got drinks straight away and ordered food quickly. We both really enjoyed our starters then tucked into excellent mains; my colleague finished up taking what he couldn't eat home for later ! Service was excellent, the meals very good. The surroundings and atmosphere were pleasant and overall this was a very enjoyable experience. My colleague is, apparently, a regular visitor, and I shall certainly return.

My son and his family took me here for my birthday and I was absolutely delighted . The food was excellent, the service was some of the best I've had. Attention to detail was fabulous, the after dinner chocolate, the hot towel and to top it off the little bottle of complementary bubbly to celebrate my birthday. Would definitely recommend Bangla Pride and will certainly visit again.

Throughout the years of coming me and my family have always had an amazing time here with amazing service and the kindest people. Thoroughly enjoy every visit with the most delicious food. They even brought a free desert for my birthday which was especially kind.

Yet again Russ and his team excelled themselves.I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We opted for the meal deal, mixed starter any two mains, any bread, any rice and any side. The meal was excellent and the quality of the food was very good. We will be back very soon.

Food was not upto the mark as expected (had biriyani)

We have visited Bangla since the first day it opened. On each and every occasion the staff have been friendly, professional and helpful. Yesterday, we went in, admittedly without a reservation, and noticed a number of empty tables; we also noticed that the staff appeared to have changed since our last visit. The 'manager', really couldn't be interested in us. We asked if they could fit us in and were told to have a seat by the bar; since there were no empty seats by the bar- that proved impossible. MY wife suffers with a severe back problem, meaning she cannot stand for long. On being told this the 'manager' tutted, pulled a chair from an empty table, saying; "sit there then". We waited some minutes but nobody indicated if a table was to be forthcoming, so we left. It is always a shame, when an establishment changes staff and brings in new blood who have their own ideas of how things should be and clearly have either little or no knowledge of the restaurant business.

Hands down the best indian in Hinckley by far… food is amazing and the delivery driver Aaron is the boy… can’t say better than that. Thanks guys…

We visited this place two weeks ago (I have since provided email feedback directly to the restaurant to allow them opportunity to put right but they have not responded so now posting here - as a warning!) I had paneer tikka which was ok and my partner’s chicken was acceptable, however for my main I ordered goan fish curry ( I have not eaten meat for over 30 years) when my food arrived I called the waiter over to check it was correct, as it appeared dark and not as expected, he said yes, yes, goan fish curry- I tasted it and was excessively spicy ( probably madras strength) so much so that I couldn’t taste the components, after a further taste of some sauce I found a chunk of something which my partner said was meat ( possibly lamb) I called over the waiter again, who was not apologetic and simply offered to get my fish dish - at this point I felt nauseous and wanted to go home - the lady behind the bar appeared to find it amusing and the waiter clearly didn’t know what to do- we paid and left asap ( I was not charged for my dish but we did pay for everything else) I was left feeling distressed, and unheard - the waiter appeared only interested in getting me to take my ordered dish as a takeaway ( it had obviously been prepared in the kitchen) overall v disappointing and relieved that my experience did not harm my health as not eating meat is a choice for me not for a medical, allergy or religious reason - clearly we won’t be returning as I have no trust or confidence in the establishment.

Had a beautiful takeaway on a busy Saturday night, food came piping hot, was absolutely beautiful as usual and delivery driver was very polite and efficient. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to this Indian many times and I have to say they have messed up are order 3 times at one time they send us the wrong curry out to my house and said it was chicken tikka masala and when I rang up told. Me it was and it definitely wasn’t refused to refund us absolutely awful because I loved this India

Delicious food great customer service

Having been to all the other Indian restaurants in Hinckley Bangla Pride is by far the best. Theres a great selection and everything tastes fantastic. The staff are really good too and are very attentive but not overly bearing.

Had an amazing meal here - first visit and will definitely be returning! Service was brilliant - brought us out a complementary curry dish to try - and a baileys at the end of the meal. We had poppadoms which were great - shashlick chicken and veg samosa starters - both lovely. For mains we had garlic naans, plain rice, a paneer Balti and a chicken rezzela which was fresh and delicious. All the food was flavourful, had a great balance of spices and herbs. When we couldn’t finish it all was even bagged up to take home 😊 So impressed have booked a meal for my sons 13th birthday here in 2 weeks time

Went for an impromptu meal out this evening with my partner and 10 yr old, the food was amazing, the staff made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us we even had a lovely chat with the owner after our meal, we can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We will definitely be back for more!

I love this restaurant . It was amazing from the starting poppadoms to the delicious after dinner chocolate. Very family friendly. Rasel,our waiter was so kind to my little brother, although really everyone was superb If I could, I would give this 10 out of 5. This was the best restaurant I have ever been to .

Excellent in every way. Food is excellent. Customer services excellent. The staff were very friendly and made you feel really welcome . They go out of their way to make sure your experience is nothing less than excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants I have had the pleasure to visit. Nice to be offered a complimentary baileys at the end of the meal with chocolate was a lovely finishing touch. Definitely worth a visit will be back again soon.

Had a pleasant dinner at Bangla Pride. Service was good, friendly waiters. Food was fresh and hot. The spring roll in the Bangla bites was a bit spicy but that's personal taste only. Restaurant was clean and had modern decor. Nice touches with flowers on the tables. The chairs were a bit too heavy to move easily. Overall enjoyable meal 😋

Food was very good service diabolical we ordered are starter 30mins later it came very nice we finished our starter's 40mins later our main came also very nice but the service needs sorting out a total of 70 minutes wait for food from start to finish is not acceptable on a scale of 1 - 10 ten high Food a 9 service 1

First time to this place visiting my home town from Australia with an old friend close to closing time. We were welcomed with open arms and a great meal that was value for money and had service with a smile. I’ve since recommended this to my family who do still live locally. Wish we had read reviews before visiting. Decided to go for an early curry. Greeted warmly and guided to a table quickly. Drinks order was taken promptly and so far so good. We ordered poppadoms, chicken pakora, vegetable sagwala, chicken byriani and naan. My husbands pakora was dry and tasteless but we didn't think too much on it - the mains arrived - presented very well, portion sizes were very generous, and the first few mouthfuls tasted OK as we were hungry but... both dishes were actually pretty tasteless, in fact my husbands byriani sauce was just sweet tomato and my sagwala was mush, the only recognisable veg in it was diced carrot and sweetcorn which appeared to be from a supermarket frozen bag. It was also a little burnt, like it had caught in the pan, been scraped off and then stirred back in. The naan was very nice, but maybe the chef should stick to baking rather than cooking. We only went here because our usual favourite Millennium Balti is closed on Tuesday, but the food wasn't a patch on MB and we won't be returning. The staff were very attentive, if a little too attentive. My husband was questioned as to why he didn't eat all of his byriani, and told them it was very dry, not enough sauce provided and the portion size could have fed 3. We were offered complimentary brandy, but we declined and left feeling underwhelmed after spending £40 on a way below standard meal. Also this restaurant only has a 3 star hygiene rating, which we found out after, conveniently not displayed in the restaurant, which also meant we lost sleep worrying whether we'd be woken by stomach cramps or worse. Never again.

Whenever we are in Hinckley we use Bangla Pride for takeaways. The menu is good, the food excellent and the service top notch, the only time we ever had an issue was when we received a chicken curry instead of vegetable, after a brief phone call, the driver dropped off a fresh vegetable curry with sundries so cannot fault them. Highly recommended

We've been using Bangla Pride for many years now, and we have never had a problem, 95% of meals have been superb, but last night I had a delivery of Chicken Bhuna & Roti, the same dish which was brilliant a month ago, however this time was a total disaster, a container full of hard pieces of chicken in a tasteless slop of brown mess, no onion, no capsicum, and no tomato & no taste whatsoever. The worst, most awful meal I have ever had from a Indian/Bangladesh in 40 years of eating my favourite food. Something went very wrong just wish I knew. Never before have I put a curry in the bin, last night was the first. I will try again again though, this was just appalling & not like the normal high quality.

Too cramped and service really slow. The food was ok just average so quite tasty bit nothing to rave about. I appreciate you need to maximise profits by serving as many people as possible but it was just too crammed and not enough staff to cope. We could barely hear each other talk sitting next to and opposite each other.

The size of the lamb and chicken pieces was cut quite small, probably the cost of living! I sooner pay more for a good portion of meat!

Ordered a balti and what was delivered was so spicy hot it took 10 minutes for my taste buds to recover. Sorry guys that wasn't a good balti and won't be rushing back anytime soon

The place was absolute fantastic, clean and Tidy. When its on food, i will give 10/10. The service was very polite aswell. People living in Heinkly, must try once🤤.

Ordered a selection of dishes to cater for our various tastes. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and plenty of it. I had vegetable biriani and I really think it was the best I’ve ever had. My Bombay potatoes were delicious too, potatoes well cooked in a delicious sauce. My sister and husband will be taking their leftovers home to the North East tomorrow and I will have another day without cooking.

Absolutely appalling. Would give 0 stars if I could. Naan breads were burnt, food was cold and flavourless, delivery was late. Worst of all, there were chunks of plaster found in our curry! Ordered via just eat... have noticed that they've recently renewed their just eat subscription so all past reviews have been lost. Feel sorry for the poor people who order on there in the future without being able to view what came before. Avoid.

I don’t often leave reviews but felt one was warranted after this evenings meal. It was the first time eating in for a while and the first thing I noticed was the change in menu. Being a little set in my way, I asked for what I usually have but was not on the menu. Of course you can have what you wish I was told, and given exactly that. I have to say that of all the years I have been eating this dish, it was the best I have ever had. Excellent food, excellent friendly service and competitive prices. Really cannot recommend Bangla Pride enough. Thank you. Paul Tomkins

Things have most definitely gone down hill, since the ownership changed. Have used this restaurant on many occasions and have always found the food to be of the highest quality and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. This is certainly now not the case. I would now not recommend this restaurant.

I came down from Leeds to spend some time with my son and his family in Hinckley who took me here on a Saturday evening for a meal and what a treat it was. We went early in the evening when it wasn't too busy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent, I will definitely go again when I am in the area 👍

Enjoyed a very tasty and well priced meal (went out of their way to cater for a vegan). Friendly staff, clean premises and can take your own booze. Busy for a Tuesday night plus there was a steady stream of take-out orders. Will definitely be back.

Having been customers for 14 years it was a shock when the ownership changed. The atmosphere has headed south, the new staff are hopeless and unfortunately the new chef can't cook. From the best place to eat in Hinckley it must now be one of the worst. The menu has been deleted and replaced with the new owners ego trip. The quality of the food is awful and all of the lovely favorites have disappeared into the ether. The new owner appears to arrogant and oblivious to the fact he is destroying one of the towns favorite eateries. I don't think the empty tables and need to put special offers on to fill them has even registered. The end of a beautiful friendship.

Bangla pride used to be our go to place for a curry but I'm really said to say not anymore! The new management have ruined not only the food but also the atmosphere. Our curries were mediocre at best and naan bread was awful. Not been the same since Josh left but had desperately fell below good now. Such a shame as we have been regular customers for over 12 years
