Best chip shop in loughborough been coming here for year's they don't always get it right only 98% of the time, but if they get it wrong they sort it immediately

Fish dry batter rock hard been in cabinet to long chips soggy burger bun burnt wouldn’t use again gone down hill used to be the best

Best fish & chips in loughborough big portions taste fantastic great kebabs carnt get enough of this places and the delivery service is brilliant

Excellent..... Freshly cooked, friendly and efficient service, served with a smile and really generous portions. Lots of choice and realistic prices. Beautiful fish and chips to die for. Well done and worth supporting, a chippy like chippy's should be!!

This has been totally brilliant for more years than i can remember. Delightful staff, fab fish and chips. Good value for money

So normally the food is great from 300 Spartans amd tonight we were really dissapointed!The chips were left overs from the day before that was obvious and they were dark brown and tough I can't believe you could sell these or think you could pass them off its really bad Th onion rings were fresh and tasty shame about the normally great chips were rubbish very unhappy

My opinion has improved regarding this place. The portion sizes have always been great, and I like the fact that this place stays open later than the other Fish & Chip shops in Loughborough. I went last night, and the fish and chips had definately improved-it was warm, not greasy at all, and was highly enjoyable. The service is fast as well, and friendly.

I always go to the 300 Spartans its the best in loughborough without a dought never had a bad meal yet and always plenty of food

We popped in yesterday. The staff were really polite. I was with my young daughter and the staff were chatting to her & we was both made to feel welcome. The chips are the best chips around. We had a mixed chicken kebab and that was just as good, really tasty and plenty as well. Will definitely go in again! Highly recommend!

The price is unbeatable and the chips have an authentic taste just like the ones you get by the seaside. Would definitely recommend.

Recently passed this chip shop and it was lovely! Great chips and very friendly guys behind the counter. Loved the original photo of the place which was displayed!

Called in this evening after parking up for the night. Very chatty and sociable whilst also making sure everything was as it should be. Shop very clean and tidy and prices were good too. All in all one of the better chippies I've visited

Arguably the best chippy in town. Portion sizes however are totally out of control. On last visit 3 of us (2 adults & a child) failed to finish one large portion of chips with our fish.

Been here many times, the owner is amazing he cooks the best fish in Loughborough, the potato fritters are also fantastic he knows I enjoy them and every time we go in he gives it us as a complimentary. Thanks a lot see you soon 😀

Armed only with spears and swords the 300 Spartans resisted the invading infidel hoards at Thermopolae. The car park here says "Parking for 300 Spartans" - Even if they were driving Smart cars they wouldn't fit in let alone Greek War Chariots. I have reported them to the Greek misinformation board - quick before we leave Europe.

First time have used them, rang an order on Sunday evening to be collected in 40 minutes, all ready on time. Fish fresh and tasty, chips plenty and hot plus gave us a free bottle of Dandelion and Burdock.n Very pleasant experience all round.

Went last week to get a chicken kebab. The kebab was a mix of tikka and tandoori chicken . The tandoori portion tasted better. I had chips with this and the chips were tasting of oil that's been recycled too many times. The staff were both friendly. Parking is a bit of a hassle, i parked outside the Chinese and the owner of the fish and chips shop said it was ok there. I think there is parking at back of the shop. Inside there is one table and it was lovely sitting there eating my food. There are a few tables outside but damn if you like car exhaust particulates on your food then this is where you should sit.

Great Fish and Chips. Always Delicious served by friendly staff. Good sized portions so Great Value. Would certainly Recommend.

What can I say, this is your average chippy service an array of chippy foods. Parking can be a problem as the chip shop is located at a busy junction.

En el camino de vuelta a casa llama al 300 Espartanos en la A6 en las afueras de Loughborough para pescado y patatas fritas. Me he dado anteriormente un informe sobre este, y era una oportunidad para ver si la empresa aún estaba tan bien como antes.

The best fish I have ever had in UK . Staffs are very friendly, and always prepare the freshest fish for me. Large chips like a mountain that can feed 8 people.

The 300 Spartans is defiantly by far one of the best fish and chip shops in Loughborough.The portions sizes are generous and the fish you could share it between two people as it’s so large.Defiantly worth a visit when you fancy some fish and chips.

Due to road works I ended up going through Loughborough town centre on the A6 looking for a chip shop. On the outskirts going north I finally spotted, on the left side, the bright lights of the 300 Spartans fish & chip shop. I pulled off the main road and parked up. There is actually customer parking to the rear, but I did not spot that until I saw a sign advising of that in their window. A couple of locals in the shop already. The owner told me I would have to wait a few minutes for chips, but that was no problem as I had already spotted the gigantic fish pieces. I paid £9.90 for two really, really big bits of fish, and one portion of chips. A bag was provided. I could see everything was hot, so I drove about 300 yards up the A6 to a layby, and tucked in. The fish was top quality, and cooked with the skin on. The batter was crisp and crunchy. The chips were spot on. As said before, it was all served up really hot. I prefer to eat fish and chips with my fingures, but this was that hot, i should have taken a plastic folk when in the shop. We ate all of the fish, and most of the chips. Both left some batter. Basically, both too full to finish it off. The best fish and chips from a takeaway shop I have had in years. Made even better, as I had not intended to go through Loughborough at all - BUT GLAD I DID!!

Fish and chips thrice, veggie burger and chips all for £20.90. All freshly cooked, monster portions, and very good quality. A lovely Sunday tea enjoyed by all the family.

I used too use this chippy a lot but nowadays don't even consider it. Cod had sloppy uncooked batter. I can however say years ago it was THE place to go. I remember an autographed pic of Seb Coe which I wanted too burn as when he was in Loughborough he was a miserable sod who never spoke as he jogged by. Must try it again soon as it was last year .

I've ever had from a chippy. Chips good too. Sweet as a nut! Not a one time occurrence either constantly good!!

An above average fish and chip shop with freshly cooked fish and chips cooked to perfection. I wouldn't normally review a fish and chip shop or take away but when it excels it is definately worth a mention.Definately good in terms of price and quality and size of servings. Would recommend.

Best fish and chips in my opinion in Loughborough.One night very late and had stopped cooking but went above and beyond and fried fish just for us.Lovely people and really know their trade.

Same as any other fish and chip shop. You can get anything you'd normally get at the price you'd normally get. Nothing special.

Cant really go wrong if you go at busy times when everything is cooked fresh.

chips 100% plus nice and friendly staff behind counter and not bad prices either.
