Possibly the nicest staff in Nottingham. Carrington street 10am Sunday 11th August 2024. The young lad with fabulous Tattoos has a smile to welcome anyone even if they are having a bad day. Professional in every way and looks the part. They all do. It’s equal to the friendliness of Caffe Tropea in Russell Square London . Check it out. Well impressed . No wonder it gets so busy . (Near Nottingham Train Station ) Thank you !

Early morning bike ride fuel was needed and as our usual coffee stop had a long queue that wasn't moving quickly enough so we popped into 200 degrees, and boy, am I glad we did! I was greeted by a huge smile, who I now know to be Bruno, and he animatedly took my order...Meg was busy being a barista, and I have to say she prepared the most delicious oat milk cappuccinos! We shall definitely be returning!! Superb tasting coffee ☕️ 👌 Impeccable service and what a giggle we had too.. 🤣👌😋🤣😂🙄

If you want to avoid the big chain cafe a few steps away and have something local and fresh, this is your place. Lots of seating, good wifi, good service, strong tea, and homemade pastries mean this is a great place to wait for your train and do a bit of work.

I met my friend Alan to do a walk along the canal. Before we commenced we had a coffee, which was excellent. It was busy-a good start!

I have never been so disappointed in a coffee shop as I was today and I was very surprised that this was the case. Firstly, when I ordered a latte for myself and an Americano with cream for my husband, the young lady asked if I meant milk; if I'd meant milk, I'd have asked for milk! When I reiterated that I wanted cream, she had to ask a colleague if they served coffee with cream and was told no, they only serve it black or with milk so my husband agreed to have milk. They only serve one size of coffee which was disappointing as we both wanted a large cup of steaming hot coffee. Sadly, the rather small coffees we were served were not actually hot but rather were lukewarm. As well as the coffee, we each had a cake, both of which were delicious but not very big given the price. In total, the order came to almost £15 and took us just over 5 minutes to consume. This was not the relaxing experience that we were hoping for and we left very underwhelmed.

I had a fantastic experience buying coffee from this 200 degree shop for the first time. I popped in to grab a cappuccino to go and spotted that they also sell their own beans and will grind and resell them for you. I bought a bag and the server (Luke I believe) gave me some advice on the water I should use in my machine at home, which was really appreciated. I stepped outside and took the first sip of the BEST cappuccino I’ve ever had. It was dark, rich, smooth and just delicious. So much so that once i’d finished my business lunch, I stopped off on the way to the station to get another one! Once my second cappuccino was served, I asked for chocolate sprinkles, but was informed that they actually include chocolate or cocoa within the espresso pull for more depth of flavour with cappuccinos, which is probably why it tasted so amazing! Great staff, friendly service and AMAZING coffee. I’ll be back every time I’m in Nottingham!

My wife and I visited the shop on a bank holiday Monday. We had a very nice cup of coffee and a cake each. We decided to buy a bag of the Rwandan coffee we had just been drinking and were delighted to be given a second coffee with the coffee bag - free. This coffee was easily the best I have ever had !!

I recently started using this coffee shop. Before catching a train . It’s a great location and looks inviting. Excellent service and professional attitude . They see you as soon as you walk in the shop and acknowledge you with a smile and a welcome. Clean looking shop and staff attentive and professional. Very very nice to see . Definitely a must if you haven’t been before. Well worth a visit .

This is somewhere we visit regularly. Great coffee and croissants. The service is always great and it's such a friendly place. Always busy, so finding a table can be a little difficult, but well worth it :)

Very busy but managed to get a table. There were a few crumbs on the table from a previous customer but the staff were very busy so little time to clear up I suspect. Drinks were lovely - very good coffee. Only rated average due to the not so clean table.

Busted from out of town and wished to avoid usual chains…found this place and was great. Excellent coffee, piping hot and very good cakes.

This café is very close to the railway station and had some outside seating with a good view from the bridge of the canal. The staff were pleasant. For me the big downside of this café was that they do not take cash and do not give a proper credit card receipt. We will definitely not be visiting this chain again.

Todays staff Joe and Dave are very polite and work well. Come here to relax sometime. Unwind in the chill :)

Very good quality coffee at very sensible prices , popped in on way to station , one of the best cups of coffee I had in my city break in Nottingham

I’ve always been to this shop as it has great views over the canal and is a nice place to relax with a great coffee.The staff are usually very good and efficient, however they can vary from ‘Angels’ to ‘Brick bats’!! Today I was greeted by the latter!As I walked towards the door I passed a couple having a conversation about the poor customer service they had just received, but thought no more of it!I entered the shop with my face mask in hand and was about to take a seat facing the canal when all of a sudden I heard a bellowing of “mask!!”I honestly thought someone was doing first aid on someone and was asking for oxygen! I looked around the shop to see only a small handful of guests in there.Realising it was me that the tirade was aimed at I replied “ Oh sorry, I’m eating in”This was met with a louder bellowed “mask!!”I replied politely stating that I didn’t have to wear one if I was dining in...only to be replied with “ Yeah...but no..but!”I was that shocked that I began to walk out of the place ( that looked like it needed custom!) to then hear “ Come back!” Lol

Found this lovely place by chance near the station. Good coffee, very good food and service. Free wifi, clean toilet, unobtrusive background music. Will certainly come again.

Stopped in today to pick up lunch on my way to catch a train. Nice to avoid the mass produced prepacked sandwiches from elsewhere. The falafel wrap was the best I have ever had, soft and fresh wrap, light and tasty falafel with a lovely dressing. I also had the espresso chocolate brownie which is divine! Delicious and moreish, just the right size, texture and not too rich.

Came here with some work colleagues. Nice latte with nice seating. Slightly more expensive than the other chains but the coffee tasted nicer. Very close to the station.

Me detuve en un viaje de negocios en Nottingham mientras esperaba mi tren. En realidad, pasé junto a Starbucks desde la estación para llegar a este lugar y me alegro de haberlo hecho. Refrescante para ver otras cafeterías con diferentes opciones.Personal amable, buen servicio (a su mesa).Una buena selección de sándwiches frescos, pasteles y bebidas. Bastante ocupado el martes por la mañana y estaba muy ocupado a la hora del almuerzo justo cuando me iba.

Hoy visité 200 grados en la calle Carrington e hice una charla ociosa con otro cliente. Me di cuenta de que un tipo vestido como el Joker estaba caminando afuera, ¡lo que sé a ciencia cierta fue prohibido en Nottingam! La señora que sirvió comentó que él era un tipo encantador y amable (enturbiando el abuso y el comportamiento violento por su prohibición). ¡Realmente a 200 grados, tenga cuidado con lo que comenta porque no volveré a ir a por usted a tomar café! ¡Tontos tontos que deberían pensar antes de hablar!

I love 200 degrees. It runs rings around the hideous well known chains - the coffee is delicious and not so hot that you can’t taste it. Lovely choice of cakes, pastries and sandwiches etc. Complimentary iced water is a nice touch. Great atmosphere with cool staff who bring your drinks and food to the table rather than you standing and waiting. Highly recommend

Popped in before catching a train to London, the coffee was not quite to my taste but that's a personal preference so should not put you off. Nice vibe but a little noisy as it was so busy but good location to people watch before my train. The lemon drizzle cake was lovely.

Went in for a lunch time snack and a gossip with a colleague, the place itself looks gorgeous and has a great chilled vibe. I was looking at getting a sandwich however as they are all left in the open to add to the vibe of the place, there were lots of flies all on and around the food... which put me off! I settled for a scone and a mocha which came to around £6, a little overpriced if you ask me but cant complain about the taste at all. The food did look lovely but cant say I fancied a sandwich that flies had been all over... disappointed - would return but only for a drink.

I’ve gone there a few times now and I can tell changes have been made in the staff. Even though I never had a bad experience with the staff being rude, I can tell they seem more invested in providing a better customer experience.

As a coffee shop the minimum offering should be great coffee. 200 degrees smashes this out the park. The food isn't half bad to boot. The coffee is genuinely exceptional.

This is how a coffer shop should be if it continues to maintain this style and atmosphere then soon the nearby other major chain poor offering will no longer be available, so be warned keep maintaining the nice atmosphere, style & service and you will be fine, worth a visit.

Popped in here on a Friday afternoon for a quick bite to eat before a long train journey. Had a mixed experience.

I was so pleased when this branch opened, because it’s so close to where I work! I find the staff chatty and friendly. The extra charge for non-dairy milk has recently been halved, which is fab, but I’d love to see more vegan food (okay, cake) options please :)

Started visiting when it first opened - had heard great things about the coffee before from people who’d visited the one on the Flying Horse Walk and the hype was right, the coffee is great (if a little expensive). Something I noticed right away was how unfriendly / miserable / sneering the staff were though.

Just popped in on a wet day for a coffee. Always like this place, staff very nice and helpful. My wife ordered a coffee which was a bit too strong and they staff were happy to swop this for her....you don't always get that!

Lovely cakes and coffee, I like going here as a treat. However, the staff are always appalling, they act as if they’re doing you a massive favour by allowing you to drink their coffee. Went in this morning and the girl with the ‘ironically jaunty’ beret looked at me liked I’d asked her to kill a family member!

Service was quick and friendly, luckily there was no queue so was served quick. Gave a number and seated. I had a soya latte which was lovely although went cold a bit too quick - I guess it's not a bad thing having a drinkable drink though as soon as you get it? All good nevertheless and will be back.

Very convenient location for the station. I needed somewhere to feed my baby. I ordered the soup, which was extremely tasty. All the staff were very helpful. The highchairs and baby change facilities were nice and clean.

The coffee was ok but everything think looked like it needed a long run through the dishwasher! Almost certainly won't use the place again, this is a crowded market and it's not leading the pack.

Coffee here will not especially delight your tastebuds: its about on a par with other highstreet behemoths.

When will we share precious moments? Well, this is 200 not 3 Degrees, so who knows?

I visited 200 Degrees in Carrington street for the first time today.

Visited admittedly 15 mins before closing for a coffee as my family were already there. I waited a couple of minutes for service as they were packing things up. I asked for a black coffee and the man said "we are closing at 8". I said I would have a take out cup. Hardly a word spoken. My family had bought cakes and I asked if they had any, he said "not at this time".

First time I’ve visited this coffee shop...and sadly the last!

A really busy coffee shop but once you are in the food and coffee is fresh, hot and delicious. The service is superb , I would certainly recommend here and return

Went in here for a coffee after getting the bus in from the airport. It has a nice atmosphere and a somewhat rustic feel to it. We had coffee and cakes which were lovely. The staff were helpful too.

Good coffee but a pity that I don't think I have ever seen the staff smile or dare to engage in any conversation with any of their customers. A 'good morning' or some kind of recognition of their regulars wouldn't go amiss - I can't fathom whether its because they aren't enjoying working there or are simply too cool.... either way, I'll forgo the quality of the coffee and go somewhere a bit more friendly....

Found this place by accident on a glum day in Nottingham and was very pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere is great, guys on staff are cute, and most importantly, the coffee is fantastic. Buzzing, warm place with free wifi and a friendly air. Highly recommended. Forego train station coffee and come here.

Called in for a cuppa on Saturday after a long train journey with no food and drink facilities. Boy, did I need a coffee! Spotted this place and decided to call in. The coffee was lovely. Decent sized cuppa with a strong coffee taste. Lovely! Nice relaxing atmosphere too, and the toilet facilities were nice and roomy (I can't stand train toilets - cramped, bumpy and uncomfortable - so I needed to visit their facilities before I had my coffee! Haha!). Would definitely visit again.

Loved this coffee house, very welcoming service was awesome. Nice recommendation to the guest coffee -spot on. Sandwiches was delicious and I was able to work loads with the power socket.

The nitro cold brew was horrible. Tasted like diluted coffe with a thick layer of form. It had a very sharp and disgusting taste when I first sipped it. The form was beer-like but smelled and tasted fermented.

Visited here after searching 'best coffee in Nottingham' and wasn't disappointed. Lovely little coffee shop, fantastic Americano and friendly staff. A little off the main run, near to the railway station, but I was close by and glad I made the effort to go. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Looking for somewhere to grab a hot drink and came across this place. Had a latte which was lovely if a bit expensive. Nice and relaxing in there and polite staff.

Really great place with a good vibe. Clean and warm and great choice of different food. The sandwhiches taste really lovely and well displayed and served. The drinks are great too. The staff are a bit miserable looking I don't know if they have been told to be serious and worthy but I have yet to see or meet anyone smiley and chatty but I've only been 4 times so might have just picked the wrong moment. The staff are very helpful and do their job just saying they don't seem happy to be there.

was recommended this establishment by my partner's daughter for a coffee and something to eat on the train journey home. What a lovely place, friendly patient staff and the best coffee I have drank in a long time. A range of snacks on offer and my choice of muffin far out tasted anything I have eaten from the chains that are common at railway stations. Superb, well done.

I dislike big coffee chains - THIS is the best place to get a coffee in Nottingham. It's just out of town so never packed and have to wait ages for your coffee, but at same time busy enough to have a good atmosphere to it. If you are wanting a coffee for your train journey forget the overpriced Costa in the station or the even more expensive coffee on the train - get yourself to here!!!

Such a lovely little place with lots of character, where I can I prefer not to go to massive chains but there isn't many smaller chains / independent coffee shops round where I live so this was a delight. The coffee was gorgeous and my muffin was delish!!

I stopped in here by chance before boarding a train. I grabbed a coffee rubbed bacon baguette and cappuccino. What a delight. Excellent service fantastic coffee and stunning food. The decor is modern and welcoming and a nice atmosphere hits you as you enter

This place is small, but bags of character. The coffee is hot and fresh with a range of cakes and sandwiches etc which have lots of interesting flavours. Worth going to if you are looking for somewhere to have a catch up with a friend or quick coffee before getting a train.

Stopped here before boarding train. Lovely coffee selection delivered to table. Good selection of treats. Brownie and lemon cupcake very nice. Good polite efficient service. Toilet clean and good washing facilities. Good roomy tables with room to move around in between.

Coffee pretty nice but the service there is next to none. They will chat and give you advice on everything. Ended up the sandwiches were too fancy for my liking but lovely lady behind the toll helped me try the besT VEGAN brownie of my life.

Discovered 200degrees probably a year ago. Since then it's been difficult to find anything comparable...Even in Milan! Very fond of their new shop on Carrington street. Cortado is best ever.

This cafe restaurant is very near the main station and quite new. Unfortunately there seems to be a corporate music policy. I had lost my voice & my friend could not hear me. He politely mentioned the problem to a member of staff, who twiddled with the controls with no noticeable effect on the volume. This was a disappointment. The drinks were nothing special either.

Just called in to kill time whilst waiting for a train. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Not a vegan but decided to give the vegan chocolate brownie a go and it was wonderful. So good that my husband (who is definitely not a vegan!) got his own after having a taste of mine. Got about 3 cups of tea out of my pot & the coffee was very good.

We were looking for a cheap lunch in the city centre, and the original 200 Degrees has been recommended to me many times. I ordered a latte and an intruguing butternut squash baguette, which were both decent: the coffee was nice and the baguette was different to any sandwich I've ever had before, but given the bland setting and the high prices it was not particularly worth it. Paying more than most chain coffee shops is fine, but this better value.

This branch of 20O Degrees (there is another one in Nottingham's centre) is still quite new but has a lot more atmosphere than the chain coffee shops that proliferate around town. I've never had a bad experience here and the staff all seem incredibly knowledgeable. The coffee is excellent and the banana and chocolate loaf was tasty. The best place to get a coffee near the station.

I pass 200 degrees here alot but hadn't gone in until yesterday.

Nice coffee but disappointed with the service. When served coffee colder then usual I questioned it as it forced me to drink within a couple of minutes. The response was very much "you're wrong" - next time ask for it hotter". Distinctly better service elsewhere, I won't return.

I work in Nottingham city centre and often walk past the train station on my way to/from work. This place was recommended to me by my dad, who thinks of himself as a bit of a coffee connoisseur, and to be honest I can't fault his taste. The staff are very professional, the snacks are delicious and the venue itself is incredibly classy. I particularly liked the mugs that the coffee was served in- I've since gone and bought some very similar! Just to hammer the point home, I have recommended 200° to many of my clients, International and British alike, and they have all had an equally pleasant experience. (The salmon muffins are great- go treat yourself!)

Excellent flat white ordered to takeaway. Welcome friendly service. Quick service (shop was quiet). Range of cakes looked amazing but too early in the day for me to sample. Good seating area had I had time to drink in. Destination style

We arrived here on a Saturday afternoon, having had a lovely time in Nottingham Archives as part of the Heritage Weekend. A place to recommend also!
