The best restaurants serving Vietnamese food in South East

It was our first time in Brighton and we wanted to eat pho noodles, we came as a group of family, 4 kids 4 adults. We came around 3 pm. We ordered 2 large beef pho, 2 large pork pho, 1 small chicken soup and chicken skewers. 1 matcha latte n couple of juice n coke. Food was amazing, but the service and waiting time was the worst! It took them almost 1hr n more just to serve our food it was horrible with the kids whining and moody asking where is the food cause everybody was so hungry. I have to shout out,”food is coming 1 more mins” intentionally to the kitchen with hope they will speed up a bit, it was only 2 ppl there and they are very slow it took them around 45 mins just to serve my matcha latte. Not lying food was amazing! But they really need to improve on service, even me n my friend was like should we help them, cause we are mum we used to cook too and making pho was like easy, they should prepare all the ingredients before cut it & ready then when the customer ordered they just need to put everything quickly and put hot soup that has been boiling when they opened the store. If they do that it will only takes them 5 mins to prepare 1 soup! For us doesn’t matter if you sell good food but if they service like this it is really BAD! Hopefully they will improve!

My wife and I visited Pho in Guildford Town Centre on Friday the 29th of March at around 1pm. The food was good, the atmosphere was good but what I couldn't believe is how much of the job was left to one particular member of staff who seemed, from where I was looking, to be: managing the kitchen, cooking the food, taking the food to the tables, checking on customers and doing, quite frankly, most of the service. Whoever the blonde curly haired girl is who works here deserves more than the consistent complaints, we overheard, that she received from customers and staff alike. I am sure me and my wife will be back again soon as we did enjoy our noodle soup however I can't quite imagine what our dining experience would have been without this lady. My wife and myself were quite frankly amazed at the fact she was also cooking the food in the kitchen for a while also! We didn't catch her name but I felt compelled to inform to the fact that you have such an asset to your team as you better be promoting this girl immediately!

I have been going here for over 30 years, hadn't been for a while and was shocked at the 0 food hygiene rating also the food was awful. Thought it might just be an off day so have tried it a couple more time but unfortunately still just as bad..... Bring back Jack

This is an old fashioned city pub. The ales change weekly. Live music on a Friday. Quiz nights and more. The food is brilliant. Fantastic pizzas at the weekend. Honestly the pizzas are fantastic. The Sunday lunch is amazing. Friendly staff make you feel welcome. What’s not to like!
