Lovely local restaurant, decent food size, friendly enough service and genuine friendly service. Good choice of menu with plenty of choices for vegans.

My wife & I enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese dinner at our wedding anniversary celebration. Everything was freshly cooked & delightfully presented, & I would especially recommend the prawn & pork wontons, served in a fragrant broth.

Terrible service over an hour late, restaurant didn't answer when I tried calling 7 times ended up going to restaurant to get a refund to be told driver had left food at my house whilst I was at restaurant. By the time I got home it was cold. Awful service and massively over priced. Full refund will be chased and will not be returning again.

Went on a Sunday night. This place is totally lacking in inspiration. The waitress was slow and uninspiring, the choice of drinks was terrible. We waited an hour for starters so paid £4.50 for some crackers. The mains were ok but pretty basic food and one turned up long before the other. I was just saying to my wife that this place was totally lifeless when some music started up, but that was right at the end of the evening. The waitress asked if we wanted anything else. We were totally bemused and said that our mains would be good. It really did look like they had totally forgotten about them. If you run a business like this, you don't deserve to be in business very long.

Very, very poor delivery time. Our order took 2 hours to get to us and it was simply 3 noodle meals. Do not order from here if you’re hungry!!!

Decent food but the wait was so long (1.5 hrs) that we had to switch our mains to takeaway to get our baby home in time for bed. Server was friendly but the kitchen seems to be prioritizing takeaway over eat-in patrons.

Lovely quaint restaurant serving excellent Vietnamese food. We ordered Thai curry and Noodles both of which were excellent and generous portions. For dessert we had the Black rice pudding which was delicious. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

I didnt like the fact that the waiters look really young & unproffessional......the female toilet wasnt clean either. Shame because the food was good. But clean toilet reflects the cleanliness of an establishment & I dont want to be served by school kids.....

Really nice food - the chef is from Vietnam and she can amp up or down the spices if you want. The price for the quantity was slightly steep but the taste of the food was really nice. The serving staff was kind and helpful.

The food is great here, but ot takes so very long to get it. We ordered 3 meals only got 2, was then told 25 minutes to get the 3rd because it hadn't been ordered lol when there was 3 of us at the table. Ended up sharing mine with my other half. They did give us free drinks but that took almost 20 minutes so we went and got them ourselves. Would i go again? No I'd do takeaway lol

Had Sunday lunch here, great tasting food, I had the Vietnamese Beef stew, and had the Vietnamese Coffee, really strong and rich, had it with Condensed milk, delicious. My wife had Tofu Pad Thai, the Thai fishcakes and prawn dumplings for a shared starter. All delicious. Finished off with Ban Cam (Mushi Balls, glutinous rice, mung bean paste, deep fried and coated in sesame seeds), with Vegan Ice cream and root 🫚 ginger, delicious.

Where to start.. Upon entering this small establishment we were greeted with utter silence, the ambience is non existent and rather dull. We ordered our drinks and food. The drinks took over 15 mins to arrive, a can of coke and a mojito. We waited nearly an hour for our starters to arrive which came out in dribs and drabs and some didn’t turn up at all. Bear in mind there was 3 other tables in the restaurant, 2 that were waiting for the bill and one other table that ordered after us yet was served their food before us. The chicken dumplings were delicious but everything else was bland & average. The staff could do with some basic training to say the least. To be honest I shan’t ever be returning and I’m fuming I even paid the bill, that the missing starters were still on by the way. Overall experience, 1/10, lucky my mrs is a sort so I had something to enjoy!

We ate at Amie’s Kitchen tonight and highly recommend it. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. The staff are wonderful and the restaurant atmospheric. We rarely write reviews but Amie’s Kitchen deserves the recognition.

I regret I just have one stomach, can’t try everything at once….. so have to go back next time when I around😆

Food was ok but an hour waiting time isn't

AVOID GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE HUNGRY AND DONT WANT TO WAIT FOR THREE GOOD HOURS TO GET FOOD!!! and they will still manage to mess up the orders. recieved the desserts before the meal. we were annoyed and asked for the bills which took another half an hour. and the food wasn’t great. staffs were unprofessional and straightup rude. they dont maintain the hygine as we have seen them grabbing ice with bare hands.

Fantastic food and when we were served, the staff were very pleasant. However, we waited a long time for drinks before our meal. As there was no staff front of house, which meant when our main course dishes were cleared away and we asked for me u to choose dessert, no-on came back to take our order. We waited a long time and in the end decided to pay the bill and have dessert elsewhere. I would go again, but would not take friends or family members. It would be beneficial to either have front of house staff downstairs or the very least a camera so staff in kitchen upstairs can see what's happening in the restaurant.

Firstly, food is excellent, but the service is possibly the worst I’ve ever experienced. Waited 20 mins for starters, not ideal, but acceptable, having finished our starters, we sat with all the dirty plates for 15 mins, then cleared them ourselves to the end of the table. The staff look like they don’t want to be there and often seen standing round the corner in a door way on their phones, ignoring customers. After another long wait, two of the mains came, leaving the other two sat watching us eat, we had finished ours before their food arrived. No apology or explanation. We had to get up and go ask for the bill, then had to get up again to say we’d like to pay the bill, both times staff stood do nothing on their phones. Overall shocking service.

Ordered a takeaway. I was warned it would take an hour but it took even longer and was subsequently advised that my wife’s order of Beef Pho was only available with beef broth and chicken! The food tasted fine, but it doesn’t seem to be an efficiently run place - and be prepared for a long wait!

Excellent food. Absolutely fantastic. Freshly made, perfectly spiced, delicious. And the dessert - waffle with ice cream and toffee sauce - heavenly.

Incredibly slow service. When we arrived there was no one to show us to a table so we just sat down and waited 5 minutes before someone came to give us a menu. It took another 15 minutes before we managed to order. Tap water took 30 minutes and we finally got our food 40 minutes later. The restaurant wasn't full and most people already had their food when we had arrived. At one point they served us food that was ordered by the couple next to us but they left 40 minutes before because the wait was too long. It also takes 15 minutes just to get the bill.

Well, I agree the service was slow, but I believe they were short staffed. When my meal arrived, it was most flavourful, and tasty, well worth waiting for. I was with my wife and a couple of friends who recommended the restaurant, I for one will return asap

At the beginning, all good. The ladie who received us at the restaurant was really nice and attentive. We ordered a selection of starters, one of them was fishcakes. She explained to us that, as they are "bigger" now, they only serve 3 instead of 6 (***edited: just saw a picture from another review, they were actually same size... I just feel robbed now). We said that is ok. We ordered 5 starters in total and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our food (we were the only 2 people in the restaurant). Really disappointed with the fishcakes as they were very small, so we wondered if before there were the size of a coin. Taking that away, the food was really good and we actually enjoyed it. After, we decided to have fried mochi with ice cream as dessert with 2 coffees. The coffees came after 30 min! I mean, half an hour for a coffee is just not normal. We drank it quite slowly, just waiting for the dessert that never came. After one hour waiting, I was quite shocked and worried as we were about to miss our train, so I asked for the bill. That was the top of the ice cream: I got charged for a dessert that was never there! I said to the boy who served us I refuse to pay for something I never got, and he said to me "oh, it's actually just here if you want it", and explained that no thank you, after finished our coffees we don't want it anymore, also we were about to miss our train. We are absolutely amazed as we both work in hospitality and never experienced such a disrespect. They didn't offer even the coffees on the house. Our first bill was £59!, and I said, at least, please, take off the dessert from it. The bill came down to £52, but the dessert with ice cream was actually £7.50, so I paid £0.50 for half of an ice cream I didn't even see. I will never ever recommend this place or eat there anymore in my life. First time I am going back home feeling sorry for my husband and myself after such a lovely trip we had. On top of everything, after our first server left, the music was turned off... so the atmosphere went down completely. The lack of management is amazing.

Food aren't special, but not bad. Order takes almost an hour, yet when the waiter served the wrong dish, the manager/owner think it's the customers' fault and decided to yell at them.

Genuine front of house person. Absolutely delicious food. For some reason there was an insane wait on my food but they had a hiccup with a kitchen backlog. I was blissed out on my wine and crackers though and it was well worth it. Can’t wait to go back when I’m next in Seaford and recommended it to the friends I’m housesitting for. Really good for veggie, vegan, pescatarian and meat eaters and they deliver too.

Loved the lanterns on the ceiling and the food was hot and delicious. Service was the most friendly and delightful that we have received in a long time. Can't wait to come back

Everything was overpriced! Service was poor. Had to asked to bring cutlery after the starters had arrived. Food was served, similar to home cooked food, not the kind of thing you'd expect from a restaurant, nothing was authentic! Pho did not come with proper garnish, the broth was poor and portion size was about average.

I am a regular at Amie's and have been since their first opening. I would like to say that the food is yummy, being cooked with love. Amie is accomodating towards people's needs, and herself and all the staff are very friendly. Being such a popular place to eat, there are times when it is so busy that there may be a longer wait, but it is certainly worth the waiting for. Do not be afraid to ask how long the wait will be, but remember Amie and staff are doing their very best to provide you with the best service.

Have eaten at Amies regularly for some months now and have never left there disappointed. The food is so fresh and cooked to order, authentic and delicious. At busier times, whether that’s dining in the restaurant or for a takeaway, you may occasionally, have to wait a bit longer than usual, my advice would be to ask them an approximate wait time, just to give yourself a heads up. Personally for me, the excellent standard of the food here is worth coming back for again and again

Extremely slow service. We were the only table and still had to wait a long time so it’s something to be aware of if you are very hungry. Starters: Vietnamese salad and Wontons Soup were both nice and tasty. Main: Duck Noodles Soup was ok but the Vietnamese Thai Red Curry was tasteless and very weird consistency, I would have sent it back but after waiting for an hour I was starving

Amie's Kitchen is a lovely restaurant. The food is fresh and cooked from scratch. We love Vegetarian Noods with Tofu. Amie always welcome us to her restaurant and is very kind to our kids. We will certainly come back soon and we recommend Amie's kitchen to anyone who loves Vietanammese food. They certainly deserve 5 🌟😊

The only reason this gets a 3 star and not a 2 star is because the food was OK. The service was exceptionally slow and rather dire. (From the kitchen and front of house) it took 30 mins for a single custard bao to come out of the kitchen and when I chased service they told me another 10 mins, so I just paid my bill and left. The table next to us were offered their bill while they were still eating, which is very bizarre. She literally still had a mouth full of food. The kitchen was so slow, they were at about 30% capacity in the restaurant and from what I could tell they had 4 people in the kitchen, 1 being the owner and 1 person running front of house. They really need to work on their efficiency in all aspects, it's pretty bad. The atmosphere is rather bad and stale too, you can hear the conversations of every table, clearly. It makes it hard to communicate to your own table as your are massively aware that it is been presented to the restaurant. Really need some backing music or soft furnishings to dampen the sound. All in all it was a lack luster experience, with pretty average food. Not sure how so many people are saying the food is amazing!?!?! It's OK....

Was disappointed as looked at 5 star reviews ... service friendly but inexperienced Food was not as good as expected No atmosphere... some iritating jass music was put on half way through dinner didn't seem to match the setting

Very very slow service. Arrived at 7 pm on a Thursday. Ordered food and drinks and drinks arrived in a timely manner. The starters arrived after 45 minutes. After 80 minutes, we a#ked how long the mains would take and the response was, “ we don’t know”. Then later got a 10 minute tim3. At 8.30 we left and had a great takeaway from Lucky House Chinese just down the road. Took 9 minutes from ordering to food collection.

Me and the family visited last night. The food was disgusting....greasy and tasted like old burnt oil. I ordered seafood fried rice and asked for a curry sauce. Then I asked again when my rice would come...then again...finally after telling her that it was too late....it turned up 15 minutes later. The vegtable red curry was so thick and greasy that my daughter left it. They tried to charge for the curry sauce. The manager came down to argue about it Never been spoken to in such a rude manner. Avoid the dirty place!!

Looks unassuming from the outside but the food is super worth it. Ordered the kitchen noodles, pho and dumpling noodles. The noodle portions are super big and very filling and tasty. Would recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised with this find. The noodles dishes were big servings. Loved the beef pho and kimchi noodles. Didn't have to wait long for service . The mints and fortune cookies were a surprise, TQ. Not many restaurants do that now.
