Newton Dee is a wonderful place for most people with Learning Disabilities of all kinds and other mixed Additional Complex Needs, whether they are Co-workers or villagers. What I can see is Newton Dee can be inclusive and welcoming of all kinds of abilities and nationalities. Newton Dee would share experiences with eachother and will learn a lot from eachother, despite the pecking order, potentially. Some people may become independent through encouragement (spurring one another on) and inspiration.

Firstly let me start by saying this is a positive review. Nothing wrong with the place at all. The Manager and staff were friendly and the restaurant itself was nice enough. Service was good but for me the food was a little tame. I like a nice hot madras so I ordered it here. Sadly I was a bit disappointed with it. It tasted ok but it was not hot at all. Think of Alloa vs Edinburgh city in the Scottish cup or maybe Ipswich v Leicester on a wet Wednesday. There was no pow to it, no fight at all. Maybe I’m wrong but to me a madras should be dark, earthy, hot and moody! Think of your tonsils being ripped out by a bengal tiger as it drags you through the restaurant singing Queen: ‘we will rock you!’ Well the chorus came and went and alas I felt cheated by the sensation of fine Indian robust and hot cuisine. There was none sadly. So let’s say it was a very pleasant meal and one we enjoyed but I guess my pangs for the hot food were not satisfied. We will be back though and I hope next time the kraken awakes!
