The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Turkish food

Had a wonderful time at Etci, as always since this was my 4th time visiting.The food was 10/10 it tasted as good as it looked and service was speedy and welcoming with very friendly staff. greatly appreciate our waiter named Feti who gave us an exceptional experience as he took good care of us and made sure we were satisfied with everything. On top of that we were offered tea and turkish delight on the house after our meal. Inside had a really nice atmosphere and beautiful interior so i would Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed the excellent value lunchtime 2 course meal deal here. The welcome was lovely, and the service was helpful and friendly. The complimentary bread and dips that they gave us were just wonderful. The bread was light, fluffy, and packed with flavour. I asked where it was bought from, but they made it on the premises, now that's quality. My garlic mushrooms were so good that I was craving them the next day, I could have eaten them as a main course. Our main courses were delicious, but the bowl of salad they came with was a feast for the eyes, sadly I forgot to photograph it. It was so colourful and varied, and I queried what was sprinkled over it, it was sumac, I'm now adding it to salads. We stumbled upon this restaurant, but it will be on our list of places to visit when we are next in the area.

Another lovely meal at this restaurant. The food is always tasty, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The drinks menu includes Turkish wines, which I can recommend - very nice indeed.

The food and staff were excellent.will definitely return.we had the chicken kebab and the baklav which was delicious.first time visit.

Went for the lunch deal 2 starters and choice of main. The food was lovely. Other reviews have mentioned small portions, the starters are small but are tasty and came with lovely pitta bread, which wasn't extra, the main was a good size and not a small portion for lunch. The food was lovely and it's only £10 each for the lunch deal. We were given free Turkish coffee and Turkish delight too. We will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely food and lovely people. We have particular dietary requirements - one in the group was vegetarian and another has an allergy to Capsicum (or Bell Peppers) Instructions were given for no Capsicum on any of the 4 meals - which others not adhered to. Food was tasty and well presented, with medium portion sizes, meal was a few nibbles - bread, Humous, Terzakis and Olives followed by main courses (which for one in the party was two starters. All went well.

So accommodating. Wonderful staff. Food perfect. Can't speak highly enough of the restaurant. The chicken with peppercorn sauce and the chicken with Diane sauce were so tasty.

We don’t live close to this restaurant but have friends that hat have been. We made an effort to visit tonight and we’re not disappointed. We eat out a lot in many places but the food tonight was really delicious served by lovely staff in a comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely go back as the menu had many dishes that looked amazing. Would 100% recommend.

Today was the first visit since it reopened as a cafe/restaurant. Serving breakfast, snacks & main meals. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely young man, he was friendly & professional. Hubby had a no.1 breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 slices of black pudding, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. I had a no.2 which was 1 of everything no black pudding & 2 halves of fried tomatoes, plenty of mushrooms (my favourite) We had 4 slices of toast, 2 cafetières of tea, with a biscuit on the side, then when we had finished the young man brought us a Turkish dessert. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated & welcoming. Thank you we enjoyed it & will return.

Visited on a Monday night in September. Rezan my server was attentive without being intrusive. The food was divine, service excellent and ambiance far exceeded expectations.

The food was lovely, the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. However, the waitress working didn’t have the best of customer service; she didn’t make us feel like welcomed. Everyone else at the restaurant were lovely, but we just wanted to leave as quick as possible. I don’t know if we will ever come back again.

Been here many times, and the food is amazing it never deviates always top notch good value for money!! The staff n the owner are very friendly n make u feel welcome!! Definitely worth a try!! 🙏

Excellent food, they adapted a sharing platter for me with gluten free rice. The hospitality was great. We really enjoy our time in the restaurant.

Where to start.. the restaurant is so relaxing and quirky, the food was absolutely 10/10 and the staff were amazing. Special thank you to Beren who looked after us the entire night and was just lovely. Highly recommend the hot Mezze starter and the lamb was melt in the mouth. I’ve never been a fan of rice but, oh my goodness, it was full of flavour and delicious as was the bread. Couldn’t fault anything. The price was insane. We live in Weston and for a meal like we had where we live would of costed so much more. Can’t wait to return to this lovely gem of a restaurant

I love this place. Very fresh ingredients, deliciously made dishes, very friendly staff, good prices, nice view from the window to Palace Street, my favourite eating place in Canterbury.
