The best restaurants serving Thai food in Plymouth South West

The best thing about the food was that the portion size was good. Bland over-sweet sauce - probably from a jar. Dry meat. The merest gesture of salad - why bother? Cold plate so the food went cold quickly. The service was poor, unhelpful and perfunctory. Their loud conversations on phones & with a visitor gained far more of their attention. Reading all the gushing praise from all of the other reviewers, maybe I went on a bad day, maybe I missed something? Maybe the chef was having a day off?

Best traditional Thai food lovely food and good service staffs are very friendly highly recommended 😊

Great value, fresher vegetables compared to competitors, consistent standard. Could be less oil in spring rolls and maybe zingier curry sauce but dependable and colourful.

We have eaten in many many Thai restaurants over many many years and this was the best meal ever. One of us had green curry with veg and tofu and it was outstanding - if only all green curries could be this way! Our other dish was the chilli and basil stir fry also with veg and tofu. Again it's a dish we have had many times and again it was the best ever. We also liked the service and ambiance. Now we have a reason to visit Plymouth more often!

Normally great food but rice was stone cold today, chilli chicken was warm. Shame normally very happy.

Me and my partner ended here after a few drinks at barbican. It was an amazing night, live music was spot on and the bar staff handed out instruments to people so they could join in, a brilliant idea 💚💚

Sadly the Nit Noi Thai cafe didn’t last for long but from the end of April/early May 2022 it’s been replaced by the very different Kicki’ Caribou Canadian style restaurant which is quite interesting in its own way.
