The best restaurants serving Thai food in London

We visited last night for a birthday. I was nervous as I cannot have fish or seafood, and most of the curries and noodles dishes contained it. However the lady serving said she would ensure it is done without which was really kind. It’s a lovely cosy restaurant. Food was nice. Highlight was the lady serving, she really went above and beyond. We had a birthday cake and she referred it to a cake stand and added strawberries and candles, it was so kind! We will be back! Thank you!

Such a great place run by genuinely great people with amazing and affordable food, this is a staple in Wandsworth

DONT EAT! They are cooking somewhere they shouldn’t be. My partner has food poisoning from them. I see the shop has letters up and are operating from somewhere illegally

I am coeliac and asked specifically for a gluten free meal safe for those with coeliac disease. I ordered chilli basil stir-fry with tofu which is simple to change to gluten free by swapping to gluten free soy sauce. We double checked with the wait staff who confirmed the dish would be safe. Unfortunately I have been up since 2 am with multiple bouts of vomiting and residual stomach and intestinal cramps. I only write this review to save another coeliac person in the future and encourage the restaurant to be either more rigorous or more honest so that we can make an informed decision for our health.

This is concerning Order ID: 1037270301. My mother and I are extremely disappointed in the order that we received on July 24, 2023. I chose to order from Thai N Pie due to the restaurant being rated 4.9 out of 5 stars on Google, the highest rating I’ve seen from a restaurant so far! I thought that the food would be good, I was wrong. We ordered: - 1 quantity of Fishcakes (Fried marinated fish cakes served with sweet chilli sauce). - 1 quantity of Pak / Veg Drunken Noodles. - 2 quantities of Double Thai N Pie Special Fish Burger (deep-fried Thai N Pie special fish fillet topped with melted cheese, served with chips and coleslaw). Both the "fishcakes" and the "fish fillet" in the fish burger tasted like processed meat. I originally thought it was chicken, as I only eat fish and I’ve never seen fish like that before. It was the worst fish food item my mother and I had ever tasted. It was inedible, and we spat it out and put all of the fish in a container (I’ve put them both in the same container in one of the photos attached). Oh my goodness, it was so disappointing to see that the fishcakes and fish fillet were essentially the same. Absolutely disgusting and terrible! The Pak / Veg Drunken Noodles had massive chunks of green pepper, mushrooms, and a slice of lime. I’ve attached photos for your viewing. Overall, my mother and I only ate the coleslaw and chips out of the £44.80 worth of "food" we spent. 0/10. Update: On July 25, I sent feedback to Thai N Pie via their website, to this day I’ve received no reply or resolution.

Caminé todo el camino hasta allí solo para encontrar este pequeño restaurante cerrado durante las horas de oficina. Es un lugar muy pequeño por lo que si estará abierto o no es claramente incognoscible sin llamar primero.

Ordered the meat Bhuna, meat Biryani, courgette bahji and Peshawari Nann. All tasted great, ingredients tasted fresh. No issues. Delivery was on time, worth the wait. (Does take about an hour to arrive)

I have been living a short walk from this place and had never been in - recently visited in February and it was amazing. Quite a small pub, I did book a table for dinner/food luckily. Service was amazing (no complaints at all), super friendly and nice and even moved our dinner res forward as we were early for the booking. Food was great, not to mention so affordable! Highly recommend this place, vegan/veggie options which is great for me. Drinks are affordable. Such a nice cosy atmosphere in here. < 3

Popped into Thaiphoon on the way home, traffic was terrible, and noticed the restaurant on busy main road. I ordered the Kaprow Stir Fry with Minced pork, which is a pound extra but worth it. The food was excellent. I had rice with the stir fry and a bottle of Ashsai lager. The portion was big, and the pork mince had a nice flavour. There were also bottles of various sauces you can add, such as soy sauce, etc. Service was also good. I will definitely return to the Thai Phoon.

We’ve eaten in here a number of times over the years and it delivered on flavour slice and authenticity. Really good meal will be back for more.

Un pequeño restaurante familiar tailandés frente al Travelodge en Stratford. Cuando fui de visita, había una serie de asiáticos comiendo, lo que suele ser una señal positiva. Tenía el Khao Pad Kaprow con gambas. Llegó rápido y estaba sabroso. El precio alrededor de £ 9. 90 fue muy bueno. Hubiera preferido fideos en lugar de arroz, pero estoy seguro de que esto se habría acomodado si lo hubiera pedido.

Food and main meals are good but note now all starters are fried. Wish they had steamed or grilled options as well Service charge is automatically added like many other places in this area. Very friendly staff and landlady and great music option on weekends

Al no haberlo estado por un tiempo, habíamos oído que estaba bajo nueva dirección. ¡Qué gran alimento! Tenía la almohadilla tailandesa, pollo al curry verde y laboratorio de pollo - todos eran deliciosos y el laboratorio era tan refrescante contra los sabores de los otros dos. El chef vino a hablar con nosotros más tarde también, así que fue capaz de recoger algunos consejos para mi propio pad Thai también. Precio razonable y muy sabroso. Bien vale la pena una visita y volveremos.
