Very nice Thai restaurant in Wallington. Staff is very friendly. Food was great! Massaman lamb shank, Pad Thai and squid were delicious!!

Decided to get a takeaway, the food was really nice and as expected, one grip is the cost, yes I understand ingredients and a rents are off the scale at present but over £16 for a small fish fillet in a currey sauce really is too much, we spent over £60 in total for a takeaway for two people, was it worth it NO did we enjoy yes.

We love this little Thai gem of a restaurant. We keep returning, and every time, the food is delicious, staff so friendly and willing to adjust the spiced heat of the dishes when requested. We will be back again soon.

Last minute booking based on reviews. Only space for aboit 25 people, very small inside but intimate, nice decor and ambience just right. Free parking after 5pm. Food was so delicious, so tasty. Service was lovely also. Price reasonable, but I didn't have any alcohol. I look forward to going back there with others.

Absolutely beautiful food! Tried the beef nam pad prik hopra for the first time and it was amazing, very fresh and full of flavour. Will defo be eating in one day it looks very nice inside :)

I have to say that I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and I'm so glad I finally did. This is authentic Thai at its best. Every dish had true authentic flavour of what you'd expect and truly delivered about expectations. Ther service was great, the food didn't take long and it truly is an amazing place. The only thingissk g off the menu was morning glory, but don't let that be a matter. Book in advance as this place gets busy real quick. We will be back again!!

The sharer platter was delicious however the prawn toast lacked filling. The mains were perfect, authentic spices, flavours came through. You felt depth and warmth of the curries 😀 We’d definitely come back as there’s more to explore on the menu.

Tucked away off the high street, we stumbled across Thai Bonanza by chance. A small restaurant, perfectly run; immaculate presentation, delicious food and exceptional service. Our only regret is that we didn't find it sooner!

The food was delicious. It tasted so fresh and the flavours were amazing. The lady who took my order was lovely as well

1st visit, went with friends, thought it was wonderful. Food was excellent, came out well timed, nice and hot and a good size portion. Also, the waitress, on her own, done a marvellous job. Will definitely return. Booking is a definite as it is not very big. The only criticism is that the plates were cold when brought out.

Travelling back from Brighton, we looked up Thai Bonaza as we made our through Surrey. 1st visit and we could not fault the warm welcome, comfortable surroundings and the FOOD! Freshly cooked, delicious and served on warm plates - wonderful. We will definitely be back

Perfect for a date night or a get together with a couple of friends, hostess was as lovely as the food, me and my partner will come again

Fantastic food, our starters (we got two each) were presented beautifully. The starters were very small but very tasty it did make me concerned about the dinner portions sizes but I had nothing to be worried about the I had one of the seabass dishes and I got two fillets perfectly cooked and my coconut rice was something special . My wife got a prawn dish that was so very nice and overall I we were both very happy. The place is small but a lovely atmosphere we got talking to a couple on the table next to ours who are repeat customers which just added to the evening. The staff were very friendly, pite and efficient a lovely family run restaurant that I will be going back to but this time I'm taking more people

Went and had a lovely meal here so booked to go back. Got a taxi to the restaurant and was told there was no booking and actually it was booked for tomorrow. On the phone I literally said can I book a table for tonight please 3 people. Then I got told that I actually booked for the Saturday and apparently the lady confirmed the date with me. This must of been another call as my wife was even next to me when I called and that never happened. Actually may of thought the restaurant may of called the following day but nothing. Shame food was great the time before except the steak which we left as the leaf on the hot plate was burnt and made the steak taste like that. Told the waitress this but even though we didn’t eat it and she could smell it was burnt it was still on the bill which was a shame. Thought we had found our new eating spot but left with a bad feeling now. Shame as the waitress was absolutely lovely and the food was too.

We have eaten in at this restaurant but mainly order a takeaway. Food is always very tasty, fresh and hot. Reliable delivery service when ordered through their website directly too. Great local Thai.

Instead of Kang Keaw Waan, Prawns we received chicken which wasn’t what was ordered.

Very little meat or vegetable in the dishes, mostly onion - was piping hot and well packaged but it was essentially soup when expecting a curry consistency

Food was yummy, hot and tasty... Definitely go there again. Member of staff knew her regular customers... Turned down a few customers, at first I thought there's so much space... But that restaurant filled up super quickly!

Last minute decision to eat here after finding another thai restaurant was closed. My only complaint was that the chicken satay was way over cooked and chewy. Apart from this everything else was excellent. The Pad Grapow was really tasty and spicy, which we loved. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

It’s ok not a great for a takeaway which I’m sad to say as always enjoyed eating in. Very little meat lots of watery sauce and only 6 pieces of aubergine in an aubergine dish. I do appreciate everyone has increased costs but this was not good value for money I was still very hungry after spending £14 for one person on a curry and veg dish

Visited for birthday meal with a friend. Welcoming, with good service. Had a shared starter platter followed by Pad Thai and green thai curry. All the food was fresh, served hot and full of flavours. Small venue so worth booking, but also saw they do takeaway.

Really good authentic Thai food with decent spice levels that reminds me of the food I had in Thailand. The spiced seabase with plenty of chilli, lime, fish sauce, Thai basil etc is actually epic. A hidden gem in Wallington.

Picked up an order for collection, friendly guy at front, very tasty Thai green curry with the right spiciness, also broccoli and ginger/coconut rice, all on point. Looked very nice and cosy for eating in too

Really enjoyed my meal! The Massaman curry was lovely, and so are the fish cakes and scallop starters :) Also, the coconut rice was the best I've ever had! Coconuty and creamy, unlike some restaurants that just add a dusting of coconut powder. Staff were great, and I would definitely go again.

Lovely thai place. They opened for mothers day yesterday. Food was really good, staff frendily and a really nice set up inside. I cant see why some of the negative reviews. I have been to thiland 5 times now and felt food was spot on. Thnaks

So disappointed as i only orderd because the reviews were great. Waited over an hour for food and it really wasn't enjoyable pad thai was just clumped together soggy and prawns chewy like dry steak the duck was so dry after spending £45 I only ate £12 worth the rest went in the bin

We don't often order from Bonanza but they are our go-to Thai as in general the food is delicious. This time was a little disappointing though. Firstly the delivery was a bit delayed; nothing too awful and we're probably on the edge of their radius so on its own that's forgivable. The mains were great as usual; but we had ordered a mixed starter which arrived and mostly tasty, but with no dips other than the pork dumpling gravy - although the usual sweet chilli is great you can enjoy the food without it, but chicken satay without the satay is just dry chicken on a stick, and especially bad when you've paid the best part of £17 for it.

I’ve been ordering from the restaurant for years - the quality of food is outstanding! I would even go so far as to say this is one of the best Thai restaurants in London.

Best red curry I've had in the UK. The "chicken travelling" starter gives KFC a run for their money for great fried chicken. This place is a local gem! Food seems slightly better dining in than take-out.

I felt compelled to write a review as the last one was so bad! I visited on a quiet Wednesday evening. Wallington is not the buzziest place in the world to be honest and it was very quiet, but this little restaurant is so cute! The decor is so lovely and the service and food was excellent! The presentation of the food is so lovely too. We had chicken satay, dumplings, pad thai and lamb shank. All excellent. Definitely visit if you are thinking about it.

We’ve been to Thai Bonanza several times and except for one experience (where they were short staffed), we’ve always had amazing food. The food and the atmosphere is brilliant and it’s a very enjoyable place to go for an meal.

Had dinner at Thai Bonanza. The starters - crispy duck, salad and fish cakes were very tasty. The mains - massaman curry, jungle curry and pad-thai were well-balanced in terms of spice. All the dishes were presented very well coupled with the warm hospitality. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience 🌟.

I had the most delicious salad and squid here. As ever, the service was wonderful, friendly, courteous and attentive. A wonderful restaurant I feel lucky to live near!

Went to Thai Bonanza for a birthday lunch and the food and service was great. Lovely and cosy family run restaurant. Min and Rose were great and we didn't feel rushed at all. Will definitely recommend and plan to go back soon🥰🥰🥰

As I was adding my order, it said 35-50 mins wait but once I clicked pay it switched to 75 mins wait :( and did come within 75 mins. usually food is quite nice but my massaman and my ribs were extremely salty this time with not much other flavour, were also unsure what is in the 'vegetable dumplings' as it tastes a little like finely minced chicken, though I guess could have been tofu... shame my last order wasn't as nice as normal!

Set lunch is varied. Food is good, even the starter is very nice. The taste of Pad Thai noodle is just like in Thai but it can be cooked dryer. Panang curry is creamy and delicious. I love the Pork Sui Mai, it is so tasty.

The special fried rice was a little bland and the chicken stir fry a bit too spicy. loved the chicken travellers and chicken wings.

Food was "alright" but not exactly "spectacularly delicious" as the hype made it to me.... Considering the ratings, had very high hopes for this place....Unsatisfied & disappointed 2bf.....Dishes overpriced & "the soup" was an absolute atrocious mess of a watery liquidy substance with no appeal..... Overall alright effort but exact appeal.... 🤷‍♂️

I have never left a bad review for ANY restaurant, but I had two really poor food orders from here this week. The first was Friday night with a friend. The vegetarian dumplings were stuck together in a single, giant, soggy mess, pull one from the mess & the rest split open, with the contents going everywhere. The vegetable massaman curry was disappointing, ironically next to no vegetables, despite this being a “main” dish. The special fried rice was bland & not really a full portion. I hoped that a second experience would be better, thinking maybe on a less busy evening the food would be better. Second time around the spring rolls were burnt. I can understand being over fried, but actual scorch marks?! Once again the dumplings were a giant, soggy mess that were stuck together & fell apart when you tried to remove them from the tupperware, with the filling going everywhere. We went for an alternative vegetarian curry, this time the kang dang & once again, it had almost no vegetables in a vegetarian “main” dish. Thai Bonanza do vegetarian food really, really poorly. The pad Thai has zero veggies in too. You cannot charge the same price as meat dishes, when there are almost no ingredients. A container of plain pad Thai noodles with no veg? That’s not how vegetarians want to eat. Do better.

Squid was soggy, pad thai was flavourless and stodgy and the papaya salad was mainly limp lettuce. Not worth paying extra for prawns when you only get 2!

Dropped into This restaurant on the off chance.....what a mistake! Costly mistake for small portions and tasteless food. One course of minced fish and prawns.....well turned out it was fish cakes ...not explained fully on the menu and well you got five in a starter portion all no more than the size of a 50p piece.....reconstituted product and tasteless. Dumplings were apparently ok 4 for ₤5.50 out of a bag of 30 that cost £3.95 at Wing Yip. Half of crispy duck .... well not too bad although Duck was well overcooked anddl in parts burnt and brittle.BBQ chicken wings.... well firstly they were not chicken wings and they were served in? A Chilli sauce not barbecue sauce.our main courses we're Chicken Tom Yum Soup ... Two Jungle curries one Tofu and one Pork....... well all three of these meals were really small portions and way way way to spicy that made them virtually inedible ..... now our little group were use to spicy food with our wife's beong Asian.. . but this just killed any taste.... and your mouth. I was told the plain noodles were ok though..... management response was to offer us free ice cream...... ERM no thanks probably too hot also. I've attached photo of main course but never thought to do starters..... me personally dislike giving bad reviews being a chef for over 39 years.... but this..... well you've read it! photos are start of mains and what we left...

I absolutely love the food here, unfortunately they charge quite a lot and give you a maximum of 5 small pieces of chicken per curry. Even the rice portions are incredibly small. Taste is fantastic and quality brilliant but portions are not worth the expensive price.

food is basically Anemic and disgusting such small portions NOT NOT DO NOT ORDER the mix plater, it’s an April’s fools joke really £16 for a kids meal no good at all!!!. The BBQ ribs are runny as hell no taste the tempura prawns 4 for £7.50 my god wow! the masaman curry behave chicken in red water you ans your operation are a joke and I will be in touch again believe that total rip off pathetic robbing infuriating human beings. Used to order from here a lot but not sure if it’s changed hands now. Sticky rice was hard like it wasn’t cooked enough and the ordered prawn crackers were on the stale side. Quality not up to previous standard... please address this if you’d like my continued business!

The food is really nice the only thing that let it down was that the food was late. I will defo order again but collect instead!

I booked my food at 17.45 to be delivered at 7.30 pm. I called them at 7.35 pm to find out where my order was, and they said sorry your food will be delivered in 8 minutes, it didn't and it was a very small order just 2 things. At 8 pm I received the call from the driver that he was lost. I had to go outside.

The food we received was hot on arrival - and was tasty; both dishes were very spicy - and we are not adverse to spice - but the spice overwhelmed the flavours. We didn’t order prawn crackers - but for an order over £40 other restaurants often throw them in as standard. The restaurant experience for us was better than delivery; but we’d definitely visit again.

We had our first experience of this restaurant this week and we were delighted. The delivery was quick and the food plentiful and hot. The lady who took our order was friendly and helpful. We will continue having takeaways from here and are looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person when we are allowed to do so.

Second time ordering from here, and every bit as good as the first. We didn't order any starters this time, apart from Duck, having learned last time that, though very good, they are pathetically small and therefore ridiculously expensive. Will certainly order again, and look forward to a visit when the rules allow.
