My wife and I were discussing dinner options after a long drive home after visiting an elderly relative. After a staycation of eating every cuisine but Thai this was the last piece of the puzzle to round off our bank holiday. We were very close to going to Rosa’s the tried and tested option, however we stumbled across Bangkok Bay and after finding out all the meat is halal and surface level due diligence we decided to try this place. We ordered two stir fries of mushroom, ginger, onion and more with chicken and another with beef. Both were tremendously bland. We had reach for our chilli flakes, salt, pepper and even garlic granules to lift this disappointing dish. I had a bad feeling immediately upon seeing the dishes as they were in a watery sauce as if it was meant to be a curry, not something you expect with a stir fry. The sesame toast was also poor but I expected this at this point, but the duck spring rolls were actually quite good. Overall a disappointing experience but not the end of the world. We move.

Overall, good food! However, there is no lunch menu or single person menu. So if you come here by yourself, you won't be able to try too many options. Will come back.

Was in the area & stopped in for a quick lunch. Had the crispy chili chicken & pad kee-mow beef & it was delicious. Very authentic and pipping hot. Staff was friendly. I would rate it higher if not for the sticky table (it was empty when I arrived so it really didnt need to be) & they allowed a customers' (big) dog to go too close to the kitchen opening for my likeing. Price could have been better but guess for the area it may be fine.

I have ordered here before but it's gone downhill, it came rather quick for delivery (10m), I was a bit suspicious. Completely raw mushrooms in my Tom Yum (7£!) and very little chicken provided in the Pad Thai (£11) that has mediocre flavour, which leaves lots of room for improvement. Disappointed w lack of value, and won't order again.

Finally am able to eat here I always pass through here when I go to work but the food is really delicious thank you

Came here with a friend, it was my first time. Food was so good and the portions were so big! Really loved the thick dipping sauce for the crackers. The sea bass and the sauce it came in was to die for! It was just all amazing! Would recommend!

Teapots were unclean...enough to put us off before the food arrived.. Food was tasty ish

Pad thai on point! Great portion and tastes the same like in Thailand.

Very nice food and the service, seeing as one lady had to deal with the whole restaurant, which included two large groups, was very good. The decor could do with a little clean, noticed a couple of cobwebs, but the tables, crockery, cutlery and glasses were spotless. It's my second time there and the food has been beautiful on both occasions.

Limbs in Bangkok bay. The food was too nice. Such a shame teresa wouldn’t allow a duck pancake for the boys. Service is 10/10. Constant water refills and a kind waiter. Would recommend. It’s me again. They gave us each a sweet. This is by far the best Thai place I’ve ever stepped foot in. Superb business.

Got takeaway on a Friday night. Food was unfortunately NOT FRESH at all. Everything was either really sweet or very soggy, perhaps we got the leftovers from the week. Dont get a dish with prawns, they are clearly frozen and you get about 5 tiny ones.

We have enjoyed the dine in experience at this restaurant numerous times, pre-CoVid, and have also collected take away meals in person with no problems. But strongly recommend that you do not use their home delivery - for us the meal never arrived, and all contact with the restaurant was met by their hanging up on the phone rather than replacing the meal - poor reward for our custom over the years, now of course ended.

Ordered a prawn Tom Yum soup and a spicy Seafood Chow Mein, both tasted fresh and the flavours were on point. Would order again.

We have eaten inside this restaurant several times, and have no complaints about the food or service during these visits. But our first attempt to use their home delivery service has left a question over their customer service that others may wish to bear in mind before ordering. We used Uber Eats as our “delivery” service but the meal never arrived. When we ‘phoned the restaurant their response was that it was not their responsibility but that of Uber Eats. There is no doubt an interesting question of law here, as to whether Uber Eats is acting as principal or agent, but regardless of the legal question I would expect a business concerned about its reputation not to wash its hands so readily if an order from customers who have enjoyed its dine-in service many times. (Uber eats similarly dismissed our complaint but that is a separate issue).

This is our favourite Thai restaurant in Battersea. Either sitting in or picking up a takeaway we are never disappointed. The food is incredible and there is so much to choose from. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff are brilliant and the place is always packed.

Had a lovely meal from here this evening. Had a bad experience with 'uber eats' when ordering from here previously so decided to collect the order myself this time. The food was lovely, it tasted the same as when eating in the restaurant I couldn't fault it at all.

Genuinely do not understand the good reviews. Almost all the food was of a terrible taste and quality - the order was missing a couple of items and the prawn toast was clearly minced chicken not prawn.

Beautiful food as always, lovely staff and very accommodating as I'm gf. Lots of options available that are Gluten free (or they will make gf if you ask) which is great. A***** Had the lemongrass fish which was divine and salt and pep er prawns for starter which they both made gf for me !

Great Thai for eating in. Portions aren't huge but it is definitely tasty.

As soon as I walked I was greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. I ordered the green curry and partner ordered a noodle dish. Both tasted tremendous and if I didn't live far from here I'd be a regular 👍🏻

We had two mains with seafood here and they were both pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Good place to stop by and have a quick lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff.

Had a late evening dinner with a friend here. Great and very spacious, quick service and extremely tasty starters. If you want to have a great meal here, approach it as a Tapas bar and take out 2-3 starters per person :)

DO NOT ORDER. Shocking experience, this place should NOT be operating. Sauce in every curry was watered down - jungle curry and even the stir fry was just water! The vegetables used were from a frozen mix veg packet. Tom Yum soup was not flavoured either, and we found a whole galangal root in our soup. Absolutely abismal, they need to be removed from Uber Eats. I would give 0 stars if i could.

Slow cooking restaurant. Takes forever to get any food served

When I was living in Clapham I always went to this restaurant, I was never disappointed and the staff are so friendly, service was always great. I became a regular. Now I’ve moved 45 mins away I can’t go often but highly recommend this restaurant! One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been too.

I was staying nearby and thought it was worth a go. And it turns out it really is. The food is excellent and the waitress was really nice and very helpful. Definitely recommended, if you ever leave your house again 😬

Actualmente estoy escribiendo un libro de cocina tailandés y estoy buscando ideas para recetas. La primera noche probé el pollo al curry de la jungla y fue perfecto. En mi segunda visita, hice todo lo posible y comí los crujientes rollitos de primavera de gambas y el kanom jeep como entrantes, y luego pedí que la almohadilla saliera como plato principal. Me encantaron cada bocado y no puedo esperar para volver. Muy bueno y muy recomendable!

So incredibly disappointed. We ordered 4 things and nothing was good, not even close. We tried it based on the high reviews thinking we were onto a winner... gosh... What are people eating these days? This is NOT authentic, they couldn't even get Pad Thai right. That's a sure sign things are going downhill when you take your first mouthful of pad thai and it tastes like it's been cooked with tomato sauce. This is one meal we'll never get back.

Sin embargo, mi familia y yo dejamos de ir hace unos 8 meses ya que la calidad de la comida se había deteriorado constantemente. Como no había pasado meses, decidí volver a ver si la cocina se había resuelto. Lamentablemente, no lo han hecho. Todo con soso y cocinado claramente sin ningún cuidado. Lo intentaré otro año más. El chef necesita ver bien por qué parece haber dejado que los estándares bajen tanto y si ha perdido su pasión por la cocina, tal vez debería darse un respiro. Triste pero cierto.

Lovely find in Battersea. Satay chicken great, pad Thai (chicken & prawn) full of flavour and perfectly spiced. Service was great. Only downside was the smell coming up the stairs from the loos. Will definitely return.

amazing food and I’m very fussy. the mix starter platter is great as usually starters are expensive and poor quality. these are great. massaman curry was delish with. big juicy prawns. not overcooked and shrivelled up. and Phad thai not over cooked either as it is mostly with other restaurants.

Portions we’re very very small. Food was bland and the meat was very poor quality. Was in shock at the amount that arrived. We had to order another meal from another takeaway. Very disappointing as we had such high expectations.

Authentic pad thai noodles and curry. Only one staff working during the night time, but she handles everything very well. Also, reasonable prices.

SIMPLY DISAPPOINTING - I ordered Pad Thai delivery with Uber eats and I was shocked. The Pad Thai tasted like sweet and sour bottled sauce... that was nothing like a Pad Thai. The wonton soup was ok. This is a 1 star review because a Thai restautant should be able to do a decent Pad Thai.

I love this restaurant!! I normally order out but they always make the food pretty & presentable as if you were dining in, which is really special. The classic dishes pad thai, dumplings & curry are always delicious and the prawns used are always big & fresh. I love the 'drunken noodles' or pad Kew mow I think it is. Very delicious and spicy!

Well over priced and didn't taste authentic even though Thai people run the restaurant. I ordered the Pad Thai vegetarian and the vegetarian starters pack. I wasn't impressed with the bland taste of the food and the crsipy tofu was so dry and chewy. They were busy when I went and rushing around, so I probably should have gone there another time when my meal wouldn't be rushed, so it was made with more love. Sadly I probably won't go back again

Bangkok Bay and Bangkok in general are really nice. Bangkok Bay has many things to see and do. It's worth going there. Really loved the place and Thailand in general and is a place where I can definitely say has captured my heart

The food was great except I was missing some cashew nuts in my stir fry. Delicious though - would highly recommend.
