An absolute delicious brekkie and super friendly staff. We were made to feel super welcome and would go back without hesitation and great views also 😍

Now called The Paper Boat Cafe, eat-in or take away, friendly service and fine views of the river and the boats passing by.

The food was horrible, too much salt, and the guys were totally rude to us. We're not going back there, even if the food was free!

Two different sizes available in a mexican "hat". 5 churros and one dipping sauce or 9 churros and two sauces. Freshly made while you waited, choice of sugars onto the churros . Really delicious

Si te encanta la paella, pero la verdadera, no dudes en tomar una porción (o más) del puesto de Picoteo. Como española y habiendo crecido en España, Paella ha sido una de mis comidas "una vez a la semana". Esta es la paella más precisa y sabrosa que he probado en el Reino Unido en 8 años. Le compro a Gloucester Green y también mi empresa contrata a Picoteo para que nos haga paellas. ¿Todos aman a Paella aquí? ¡Gracias! ! !

Grabbed an Early-Doors Table to suit our Plans ...Planning to Eat & then go-through to the Adjoining Micro-pub ...Which worked a Treat ...Great little Find in the Restaurant with Great Food in the style you'd expect 😀...Great mixture of tastes & the sharing experience "Works" Following the Meal We popped through to next door & what a suprise...on our Visit (Friday @ 8pm , we sat for Eats @ 5.30pm) it was buzzing with Folk , chatting & drinking with the Normal Micro-Pub "Rules" inforce giving the establishment a truly Freindly ,Welcoming Old Fashioned Vibe ...Great Eveing Had & We will return 😀 Thank you .

First time here and won't be the last. Nice atmosphere and the service was spot on. Having had family in Spain for 15 years I know my tapas and this is the real deal. Octopus special was really good and would highly recommend the Valencian paella. Highlight for child 2 was the stuffed churros which rendered him speechless 😍. Don't miss out on this place.

Really disappointed with this place. The food was average at best. There was no meatballs or squid (which is on the menu online) They had no mineral water, both still and sparkling. This was at 6.30pm. Why not go to Tesco and buy some bottles for the night? All in all won’t be back.

Always a great place to go for an amazing food treat. The staff are brilliant and cocktails even better.

Wow! Absolutely fabulous place. Food was tremendous, the atmosphere was warm and friendly as indeed we're the staff. If you only try one restaurant in Folkestone, it should be this one, 💯 perfecto.

The tapas served at Pulpo Negro is a step up from what you might expect. Delicious, beautifully presented food in a lovely setting with attentive and knowledgeable service. But the portions are small and the prices seem high to me. A restaurant best reserved for very special occasions.

Awesome ingredients. Always fantastic food. Lovely ambience. Proper food at a very fair price. Nothing here from Brake brothers!!! Fresh , that is quality fresh scallops, fish etc etc. Love it 😀 😋 😍
