Just like how a fish supper should be; no nonsense. Was so good didn’t even need sauce. Visited for dinner after hearing great things about the place and it didn’t disappoint. Super fish suppers, coleslaw, onion rings and finished off with a single nougat wafer. Our server Lyla was a delight; fully competent, smiley and polite. The place takes you back in time, even with a fryer from nineteen canteen - very special. We will most definitely be back!

Fantastic food with lots of choices , stunning lobster and great fish and chips , very tasty and beautifully presented. Amazing welcoming attentive staff, a warm, cosy relaxed pub for delicious late lunch after a chilly walk along the Forth . Great value too! We definitely recommend and will return. Thanks for a great Saturday afternoon!

Picked up large order from the shop but when I got home there was a fish supper missing. I called the shop and was told it would be about 45 minutes for them to send it to my house. Unacceptable as we were eating together as a family. 10 to 15 minutes would have been acceptable.

I visited the Land and Sea for the first time since all the Covid restrictions kicked in. As a rule in general, it's not my first port of call for a chip shop. Nothing to do with the quality of food, as it's actually not too bad. No it's all to do with the long standing over zealous behaviour, from their staff who try to squeeze every last penny out of you after you've already placed an order! Indeed it's quite belittling when you're asked in front of 20 other people, do you want drinks, buttered roll and a bag etc and then they can't get your money in their till quick enough, even all though you might be waiting another 15 minutes on your order. They are obviously told to do this as they all behave the same and to be honest, I find it over the top and very off-putting.On placing my first covid order with them, I wasn't asked whether I wanted a bag, but on collecting my takeaway, it was in a brown paper bag, which on the receipt they have charged 12p for? Nothing to do with the 12p charge, but this behaviour is absolutely scraping the barrel. There are plenty of other takeaways within the area who are happy to receive custom during these covid times and who are not forcing or charging for bags. Needless to say, that's where I will revert back to!

Not the chippy it once was. Dropped in for a fish supper and a chicken supper. " We don't do chicken" I was amazed to hear. In fact the young girl on the counter appeared not to understand what I was asking for. Oh dear, and to think once upon a time, with Susan L at the helm this place almost won top chippy in Scotland. How the mighty have fallen. Sadly, in future, I will drive on past . I suggest you do too.
