Really warm welcome, amazing food (been several times....pizza is fabulous) and good choice of soft drinks. One of our favourite places in our home town.

Excellent service and family friendly. We visited here two weeks ago and could not have been more impressed. The food was delicious and it was hands down the most welcoming place for families that we've taken our two year old. Lots of thoughtful little details. They provided child sized cutlery and brought our two year olds meal as soon as it was ready so we didn't have to entertain her for long in the highchair. Someone who works here clearly has a child and knows what makes lunch enjoyable for both them and their parents! Staff were so friendly chatting away to her as they passed by. As we were paying for our bill they brought over a little treat for our daughter but she couldn't have it due to allergies and they went and found an alternative for her, which they really didn't have to. It was also so reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Absolute awful service, waited over 20 minutes for drink order then another 10 minutes for my food order which then took around 40 minutes for the starter and then about another 40 minutes for the main to arrive. Main stated rice and fries yet got prawn crackers instead. Staff are far too slow and not very approachable.

We booked 2 nights at the Campanile to attend an event at the SEC and have a special birthday few drinkies along the way. Hotel tired, basic and clean. Not too bad for the money and location. The restaurant however, could do with a happier and more customer focussed team. Not once did we see a smile, hear a greeting (apart from the girl at breakfast), feel any form of enthusiasm or even genuine apologetic gestures from any staff at all. It's the Boyzone weekend and yes, we are not idiots, we have worked in hospitality, bars and restaurants for many years so, do actually know what we are talking about, we get that it's busy and people need served and bookings need to be made but not once did anyone ask if we would like to make a reservation for a table to have some dinner (still hungry) for later on. All the guy said was, if you haven't reserved a table, "it's gonna be at least after 8 when you get anything to eat". No offer to take a note of our names for a table or a suggestion to maybe have a drink in the bar until a table is available or even a "sorry" for not being able to accommodate us. The 3 guys on duty look so fed up, unhappy and run off their feet it is almost embarrassing. Surely to goodness, a busy hotel constitutes a busy bar and restaurant. My words of advice would be to keep morale high, motivate and recruit people who are actually happy to work!!!! Very unimpressed. 😡👎
