My wife and I have been regular goers to Maegden since it was the wee caravan next to the Giants Causeway. We travel down from Belfast at least once a month for a grilled cheese and bonfire hot chocolate! Now it is in Bushmill's it's even better - providing seating and selling local produce from across the Island. The girls who run it are absolute Angel's and so, so friendly and talkative. Impossible to describe to folk just how good a "toastie" can be, but trust me, it's well worth the hours travel and paying a few quid. Their bonfire hot chocolate isn't overly sweet nor does it have that artificial taste you would get from the likes of Costa/Starbucks. The marshmallow fluff they use on top is made by themselves and torched perfectly. It's 09.40am and my belly is now rumbling for a Maegden!!!! Side note: their candied jalepenos are to die for! An absolute 10/10 - I recommend it to everyone!

Stopped off after visiting the titanic belfast. Saw in the distance and thought I'd give it a try, and it was amazing. Decent size portions for price

Beautiful food, tacos were top drawer, clean fresh, lovely flavour. Good beats on in the background. Would go back again

Pedro y Eyssel han traído un alimento básico venezolano tradicional a Belfast (arepas) y son increíbles: si no has probado Arepas antes, es una experiencia que no se puede perder, su comida sabe increíble y recomiendo este lugar.

From the outside this bar doesn’t look too promising, but we were pleased we ventured inside. It has a stylish and well decorated interior. We visited twice during our visit to Derry for a pre-dinner drink. The prosecco was good value at £6 for a 20cl bottle. The staff were very attentive and professional.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. I have yet to be disappointed. Nice to be out on their patio also. Try the burger and fish and chips. Just sayin lol. Cheers!!

At 11;40 am Sunday 4th April I was waiting in a line of 6 customers. One of the two assistants suddenly shut off her till and left us all standing. Extremely bad service and at least very bad manners.

The food here was absolutely beautiful. Portion sizes were fantastic and the quality was top shelf. Service was good too. Because the venue is within the House Proud home decor store it us a little cold to sit in, I had broice French toast with bacon, eggs and maple syrup. My sister had a filled soda and boy was it filled. For the portion sizes and food quality the prize was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had been traveling around the whole of the Island and this was one of our favorite stops. We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was so spacious and lovely. The view is wonderful and the hotel is so close to all the sights along the coast. The food is exceptional and really knocks the whole stay out of the park. The staff were also quite lovely. Would highly recommend.

Our seventeen-member family reunion in Bangor ended with a celebration of my wife's birthday and my daughter's wedding anniversary at the Boathouse. We were also celebrating the end of a highly enjoyable week in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The experience at the Boathouse fit the...
