The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Canterbury South East

We stayed in the Chaucer room which was very nice though the bathroom was very small, with no room to put wash bags. Although the shower was very good. The tea & coffee supplied was good & it was nice to have proper milk & chilled water in the fridge. The continental breakfast delivered to the room was very nice. The room was in the back, so was fairly quiet. It was disappointing not being able to get a voucher for the nearby carpark as the computer system was down.

My wife and myself visited for a meal and drinks to cellerbrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. Harry served us drinks and took our order. I did mention that I had certain allergies and was dairy and lactose free, so he spent quite a bit of time making sure that what ever I ordered was appropriate for my diet and even came back to tell me that he'd spoken to the chef and it was suggested that I change one item, just to play extra safe, which I very much appreciated. Our starters and main courses were cooked to perfection and our deserts followed on, completeing the perfect celebration and hence all I can give Harry and he's team is nothing short of the perfect afternoon which we will remember for a very long time. Had champagne afternoon tea. Staff were lovely, left us alone to chat but probably could have come over sooner to ask if we needed anything, sandwiches were tasty but the bread had dried out a bit and they had left the crusts on. Not what you expect. Scones and cakes were delicious though. I would recommend as ok and hope the bread was better.
