It's a pub, you get exactly what you expect. Great place to visit for the atmosphere, live music and karaoke add for a bit of fun.

Hubby & me went here today (Wednesday) for our midday lunch. He ordered a LARGE portion of chips + small sausage + tea which tasted acceptable. I chose a LARGE portion of chips + pot of mushy peas + tea. The peas were lukewarm but everything else was OK. The bill came to a total of £16.25 (card payment). Sauce sachets are sold @ 10p. I still find it strange that they don't sell beanz as this cafe caters for kids. The toilets at the back were out of order but the public ones are nearby down the side of the Castle. The all-female staff were polite and helpful.

When getting served was met with a very unsociable bar person quite hostile in her response,avoid aviod avoid! Definitely won't recommend

Really lovely decorations and friendly staff will be goin there again would highly recommend goin there for a drink
