Called into the Lobster pot yesterday. We had no table booked. They were very busy with A Wedding. But Sarah offered us the best hospitality and service. Made us feel very welcome. There was 8 off us there. On a birthday night out. We had drinks and food. The Lady, Sarah gave us all a shot each free for the Birthday boy. Had A Wonderful Experience. We will Differently be Back.

Absolutely amazing.very welcoming lovely atmosphere. Lovely food, really value for money exceptional taste and good size portions. Went above and beyond and got us a wee glass of wine for two ladies tired after shopping all day in Coleraine. Staff so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Service…….there was none. A lot of young staff Service, there was a lot of young staff standing around the hotel each wedding to use standing around the till each waiting to use it. Told I could NOT order at the counter and that there were tables in front of me, even tho a member of staff had assured me he was sending someone down to take my order. I was there with my Father who is 92 years old and had to walk out and find somewhere else. I was informed by a member of staff on the way out “this is just how our Saturdays are”, I think 🤔 more staff would be required as it’s very off putting when you just want to order and see a lot of young staff standing chatting and having a laugh. Won’t be back 😡😡😡

Red Sail Room in the old Adelphi in Portrush, will make a great restaurant … some day, but not today. The places has been closed and re-opened for some forthcoming major events in the area, and it feels premature. The decor and ambience are first class. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, however the staff that were available were pleasant and hard working. We (2 x couples) were given menus and immediately told that several items were unavailable and that the size of the steak had been incorrectly printed - but a great confidence boost right at the outset. This was followed by being told there was no wine list or cocktail list. There was a substantial delay in taking our order due to the busyness of the place. When starters arrived they were very nice, well presented and substantial. Main courses arrived promptly and were delicious. Through the single lens of food quality, we had a great experience, however it’s very clear that the re-opening had been rushed to cash in on the motorcycle races and British Open in the next few weeks. It would have been well advised to either drop prices for a soft launch, and delay opening until everyone and everything was ready. I will go back, but not for a while.

We called in on Friday 4th April, 25 at approx 10.30am. There was one lady in front of us trying to choose a scone, 3 of the staff were attending to her, we were ignored. We were looked at, no smiles, no conversation, just ignored. Other people came in behind us who also had to wait. This is not the first time we have noticed this response. We left, we will not be back. Would not recommend.

Went for lunch a few weeks ago and I have to say that the food was excellent and perfectly cooked. I was just annoyed that the food which I had said I was taking home, was taken into the kitchen and binned. Not only was good food thrown out but I still had to pay for what was the staff's wrongdoing. Sadly no apology, just a case of "its in the bin, we can do nothing about it" Really spoiled what was otherwise a lovely lunch

My husband and I visited this morning with our little dog Bailey as we had seen online that it is dog friendly. I had sourdough and scrambled eggs while my husband had the large grill. The food was delicious and Bailey was provided with water and a treat (they asked my permission first which I really appreciated). We will definitely be back!
