Called in for some food and coffee, going on the rating of Google. Place was not busy but was told they couldnt do food because there was a large group in. No point advertising food if cant serve all.

First class restaurant visit twice a week

Small dinner in the middle of the square. Much cheaper option then surrounding restaurants, with the food just as good!

Visited while passing following visit to Lisburn's 'Tuesday Market." Made a very favourable first impression. A busy wee cafe, well decorated, coffee excellent, went in for a coffee & rest, ended tasting Latte, Americano and Cappuccino what's not to like, loved their americano in best. Very comfortable seating, spotless. Good free WI-FI reception as well. It will definitely be my place to visit for refreshments when in Lisburn. I can't wait for an excuse to try their food which looked appetising. Very friendly member of staff who served and delivered or order to table. As Arnie said."I will be back!"

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Our food was very basic though. My partner ordered ham, cheese & tomato toast, but there was no tomato in it. (Coleslaw was nice though). My tuna salad was very basic too, felt like it was lacking some ingredients as the dressing for it was very acidic and the smell of canned tuna was overpowering the whole thing, probably needed more veggies and some toast or bread with it. Such a shame after at least 35min wait as you can do better at home. Also, we were not offered a full menu e.g where we could order beef stew or soup as we saw many reviews about it. Not too bad, but probably would not come back.

Visited here the other week for a lovely tuna salad for lunch with the prettiest looking cappuccino. They do breakfasts also, along with baked potatoes, toasties, wraps, paninis and also a selection of loaded flatbreads on their lunch menu 😍 I've never had a bad meal here. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a nice breakfast/lunch/brunch! 🥰

Lovely tasty food at a good price , and service was fast friendly and efficient, the carrot cake was delicious as was the home made coleslaw. Coffee was beautiful. Many thanks . Support local businesses.

My son and I visited, and he was over the moon with the attention to detail in his hot chocolate- he got a Mickey Mouse face in it! Lovely food, lovely staff and a nice little place!

Lovely little place, food is great! Would have been five stars but the customer service is abysmal, the girl in there slammed our milk on the table, don’t think she spoke one word whilst bringing food over. The guy was just as rude, everything seemed an effort, when you catch them talking about a customer who asked if they could clean the table..well that’s something else. It’s a shame as I would love to go back, but when you’re treated like that it’s a definite no!

Ordered two toasted sandwich waited ages for them. They were very tasty but omg the guy behind the counter was ether very shy or rude. Hardly spoke and everything seemed an effort

Cracking wee place for coffee /tea/bite to eat. Warm and welcoming - staff lovely especially Scott who served us with a smile (behind the mask) and some good old NI banter.

Been in a few times since new ownership, always for coffee just but here’s the point - it’s clean, the coffees good and most important the owner knows all about service. Not sure there’s a friendlier place in Lisburn.

Brilliant menu, huge selection for a small operation. Staff attentive and great value for money.

Staff not very welcoming.!! ! As part of my order I asked for a bottle of coke. When the staff member brought it down I asked for a glass with ice, this seemed to be a chore for him.! When he brought it down for me he said “ now do you want me to drink it for you.!!!!” This was totally unnecessary.!

Staff not friendly, as part of my meal I asked for a soft drink, staff member brought it down, I asked for a glass with ice, when he brought this down to my table he said “ do you want me to drink it for you”!!! An extremely rude comment, won’t be back.!!!

Greats gluten free tray bakes that the staff knew all about. Really enjoyed the coffee and current squares.

Had lunch here Oct 2021. I had the special which was pastrami and gherkin with ranch dressing on a brioche roll. Strange to find such an authentically American sandwich in the middle of Lisburn! Food was delicious. Service was fast and efficient. Also bought some traybakes to bring home which were also delicious. Almost 360 degree views of Lisburn square with plenty of light in the deli. Perfect for sitting and a bit of people watching while having lunch.

Decent coffee, lovely bright coffee shop with outdoor seating also available. Large menu on offer for both breakfast and lunch. Worth a visit.

Great food and excellent service

Went for the first time to the Glasshouse. Pre-booked a grilled breakfast came as ordered. Must same not often all is grilled rather than at least bread fried. Warm and tasty. Still think will go back to fried bread.

I am very pleased with the quality of the food and staff are all really lovely. I sat in and got a veggie flat bread and a latte, it was a perfect lunch. Highly recommended ❤️ there is outside seating, you can purchase bags of ground coffee and coffee beans.

First time visit for me, pleasant and friendly atmosphere with social distancing in place. Worth visiting for snacks and hot drinks.

Great selection of tea and coffee with lots of dairy free milk alternatives. I had the Colvin which was a lovely veggie panini. There is also a wide range of tray bakes, gluten free and vegan options. The service we got Was first class. Would definitely recommend and I will be back

If you like your coffee, there is no better in Lisburn. The Glasshouse serves great food, tray bakes and coffee. The staff are very friendly and there is always a lovely atmosphere. We call in regularly for breakfast, and they offer a slimmers menu as well. I would highly recommend to everyone!

Had the pleasure of working in Lisburn square in November and found this lovely coffee house. Breakfast is perfect with poached eggs cooked to perfection. Can’t fault the staff or the owner and looking forward to being back in Lisburn for another great breakfast

They put a lot of care into preparing their meals and I don’t know anywhere else where they can do a poached egg as CC well. Good menu that has a few mild twists. Love it. Very nice staff too.

Was parked nearby and spied this lovely coffee cafe with few people inside with really nice food. A lovely breakfast menu with nice variety of more unusual choices. Tables service for orders and pay at end. Tea and breakfast both arrived promptly. Food was well presented and very good. My only negative was the 2 waitresses. No chat and definitely no smiles. Other customers too were trying to get conversation but it wasn’t happening.

Called in today for brunch and not for the first time. The menu has a great choice of everything from scones to a full breakfast, cooked to order. The staff are attentive and very helpful.

I passed this restaurant often - but decided to try it for breakfast this morning as it was close to my Podiatrist's (where I had an appointment - in 30 minutes).Service was very prompt; my order (poached eggs on toast, on granary bread) was taken quickly and served within ten minutes.At one point I dropped my fork; the waitress noticed this - and brought me a clean one without me having to ask! The decor is simple, mainly large glass windows. Fairly spacious, with a large square table in the centre. Comfortable seating.My eggs were poached "just right" and the granary bread was delicious (lightly toasted).The atmosphere was restful, with no loud "canned" music. Three young girls at the table beside me added to the ambience - as they were celebrating a birthday - and in jovial form.A most enjoyable experience as I was able to enjoy a cooked breakfast within 25 minutes (and keep my podiatry appointment). I plan to come again soon, with my wife, and have lunch.Recommended.

Have just discovered the Glasshouse this month and have visited 4 times, first time we went was with friends over from England on a pre Christmas visit. 5 people for breakfast, great choice on Breakfast menu, service was slow and when it eventually arrived mine was cold, Pancakes, didn’t say anything as everyone elses food was fine and didn’t want to make a fuss. Second visit was for lunch, we just beat the rush and food and service was good. 3rd visit was Christmas Eve for a late breakfast, food was good but again it was a bit busy and the service was slow, we had to order fresh coffees as 1st was getting cold waiting, how about complimentary top ups. Went today I actually think our order was forgotten two groups in behind us were served before us, we had to remind the waitress, by the time we received our food, approximately 40 minutes after ordering, we had to rush it down and leave within a few minutes. We were given our 2nd tea and coffee free but that didn’t make up for the slow service. As my title suggests it has potential and I’ll most likely be back but if I’m anyway pushed for time I’ll be giving it a bye!

Food always tasty and simple - great service - a little more heating would be good otherwise 5 stars
