The best restaurants in Northern Ireland

I've eaten out of here a number of times and each time I haven't had too much left over. I'd go for the brioche roll with bacon and sausage plus a latte which all goes down very well.

I met the chef of Milly's coming out of my cousin's butcher shop next door to the restaurant. I got talking with said cousin about it and he told me I should give it a try. I thought it was a good sign that they were buying the meat from such an excellent butcher, so 3 of us made the pilgrimage to Tempo. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere was very relaxing and we had a superb meal and a very enjoyable evening in Milly's. We will definitely return as soon as is possible.

A lovely quaint cosy place to stop for a coffee or a quick snack. They usually do a selection of 3 soups with home made scones to go with them, and then there's a range of homemade buns and cookies. There's artisan felt and paintings both on display and for sale, and they have classes to show you how to do them and also how to make their menu items. Always a warm welcome and lovely views over the Mournes countryside. And don't forget about Freddie their big friendly dog getting everybody- and ever hopeful to scrounge a little treat!

Went with a group of 10 men, from our shed , and we were served right royally. Had a substantial tasty home made brunch. Made on the spot and served with a smile. Can`t wait to go back,

Excellent restaurant! I cannot recommend The Street Kitchen enough, the food is absolutely Devine! The staff are so so kind efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can have a conversation. Definitely recommend to visit the restaurant it’s a very special experience! Well done to all the staff and the menu is catered to all tastes and dietary requirements! I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Enniskillen!

Had a cuppa while I waited for my bike to get serviced. Great coffee, amazing fresh raspberry and white chocolate scone. Perfect. Friendly staff , and you get to check out the bikes while you're chilling!

Situated on Central Promenade, Newcastle, Co.Down the covered outdoor seating gives a truly Mediterrean atmosphere as you admire the views of the harbour and Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northern Ireland, as it sweeps down to the sea. Choose one of the fabulous Base Coffee drinks or select from the range of herbal teas. For morning snacks try the sausage rolls, croisants or scone with fresh jam. Then later in the day you must try the home baked apple pie of one of the delicious (but huge) tray bakes. Base Coffee is not just a coffee shop, it's a hub for many regulars and undoubtedly you will very quickly feel welcome.

Drinks were good!! The food was terrible!!! The worst waffle I’ve had in my life!!! Potato hash (Hash browns) tasted like it’s been microwaved!!

This place is legit! Delicious authentic Thai food. Yum!

Had the most relaxing friendly experience at this café today I got the fry that was very tasty indeed coffee was delicious apple cake and custard was 10 outta 10. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later what a plesent experience

Lovely relaxing location with views over Belfast Lough, very close to Belfast but a world away. Conor & Bernie were excellent hosts. The tasting menu with matching wines was fantastic, particularly the carrot soup with coconut and sweet chilli prawns, the scallops with crispy leeks and the fillet steak was amazing. Nice touch to have complimentary port in the bedroom. Breakfast was also delicious.

Very clean tidy and staff are lovely.. My fry was really good and reasonably priced.. will deffo be back..

We went a few months ago - I meant to review sooner! It was amazing! I was actually hoping to go back tonight! The food was amazing- really delicious menu with attention to detail. The staff were so friendly. It was for my 40th birthday and they really made me feel special! I can’t wait to go visit again - I live 2 hours away but it’s well worth the journey!

Nice friendly stuff .We both loved our boba milkshake so much so we forgot to take pictures but they tasted amazing.highly recommended 👌 😋 Update..we are now regulars.we absolutely love the place and the friendliness of the staff.we cant stay away unfortunately we have now gone into a diet for a while so we wont be seeing them for a bit.But we will forever be loyal customers
