The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Ribston Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

We booked 5 rooms over a year in advance for guests for our wedding at Goldsborough Hall. We confirmed the rooms again with the Bay Horse, 3 months before the wedding. After this, we were not able to get in touch with them to pay for our rooms, despite trying to call multiple times. They finally got back to our facebook messages to them, 9 days before the wedding, to say these rooms would not be available due to electricity issues, which we could see from their facebook had been an issue for a long time before they eventually got back to us. We were so disappointed with the Bay Horse Inn - with very poor communication in the months preceding and the last minute cancellation, causing huge inconvenience for our guests and last-minute stress for us.

Arrived today after a long car journey , so was really looking forward to a nice meal , we read the house rules , which included no phones - fair enough if that’s their policy , so my 90 year old mother , being a stickler for the rules , got her phone out of her bag to turn it off , and was immediately told no phones , so she continued to try to turn it off and got a bit flustered, whilst being stood over and told again no phones , I then said give her a minute please . And then the guy who was stood over her went behind the bar and told the staff not to serve us , we were in disbelief and the way we were treated , and left very disgruntled and in total shock to be honest My poor mother was distraught , on her 90 th to be thrown out of a pub for the first time in her life Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff

On the evening spa break,ordered the burger which tasted greasy and disgusting and inferior to Mac Donald’s! My wife ordered the flatbread and pigs cheek small plates-again all precooked, tasteless. Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Dreadful. Worst coffee I’ve ever tasted.
