We stopped in for a cream tea after a nice walk through the woods and enjoyed the cream tea. The scones were delicious- best we’ve ever had! Lovely ladies too! Highly recommend :)

Always call in when cycling through the Poldice Valley from home and then back through Twelvehead, Chacewater to Blackwater. Wonderful choice if fresh healthy foods and amazing cakes. Staff are always brilliant

Absolutely a hidden gem 👏, we visited today 23/3/2024 and we had the best service and food we have had in a long time. The place was spotless and the food was amazing (but the cakes were 10/10 i highly recommend trying at least 1 😀) We arrived around 1.30 the place wasn't too busy and we were seated really quickly and served shortly after which we always like xxx there was a good selection of great coffee's, drinks, food and a great selection of homemade cakes 🧁🧁. We went for the ploughman's lunch (which is difficult to find this time of year in cornwall so that is a bonus👍), and also the bacon and cheese toastie, with a white coffie and a can of coke. This cost us £32 which we think for a small business with great service and amazing quality food is very good value for money. “Ridiculously good” was my son’s verdict about his burger at the Woodman’s cafe today! My daughter and I had the all-day breakfast, which was buy one, get one half price, and they were great as well. Quality ingredients, well cooked. The eggs had the yellowest yokes! I wish I’d known they had had hash browns as that would have made it perfect! This is such a great little cafe, brilliant for a bite to eat after a walk in the woods. It was raining today and we were nice and dry in their shelter. People don’t seem to know about them, but it’s great there! Go, eat good food, and support a local business!

Grabbed a coffee on my way into Truro and stopped again for another on my way back past. Received a £100 parking fine for returning to the car park within 3 hours
