Visited to buy food for breakfast and lunch. The shop is tiny but is absolutely packed with delicious food. We came away with almond croissants, a loaf of sourdough bread, salami, a delicious courgette quiche, some superb local butter from Bungay and a round of Baron Bigod cheese. This was all consumed very quickly and we’re planning our next raid.

A big thank you to the management and staff for a wonderful afternoon and lunch in the garden. Always so well organised and professional under these extreme circumstances. Great food and service as always . Welcome back and it’s good to be back!

Had brunch here. Coffee and tea was OK but mushroom with mashed avocado, which was not particularly mashed and was soggy.

Normally the food here is good but absolutely not this time. Roast pork mostly fat and tough. Inedible. Vegetables all underdone and cold. Roast potatoes greasy and edible but only just. A thimbleful of gravy. Cheeseboard had few biscuits and very little cheese. Wine ok. But at close to £90 for two this was appalling.

We Love walberswick Lovely pub Lovely staff Excellent breakfast Lovely rooms No GF lagers We Stayed for my hubby 65 birthday for 3 nights ..we had a great time . I am coeliac and the evening menu was a little limited .. but the pub always do their best to adapt but to offer cheese and crackers with no GF crackers is a little silly I think .. Also I have asked and cannot be the first to ask for GF lager to be available and still there is no lager for coeliacs . Why serve GF foods if you cannot have a GF lager ?.. it’s understandable it’s not available through Adam’s but surely it can be purchased elsewhere ?? It easily available ? There is nothing more frustrating to find the most beautiful pub and area and the manager cannot offer such a simple drink for their customers . I do not like GF ales so please have a GF lager on offer so I can soon return !!! There must be other customers with health issues asking the same questions?? Hope to see you all again soon Dawn
