A fascinating exhibition of new work by Cambridge born, London based artist Ian Rawlinson. The exhibition runs from 5th October - 1st November 2024 at the Edge Café. The preview takes place on Saturday 5th October from 6.30 - 8.00pm. REFRACTOR is an exploration of collective memory as seen through East Anglia's military past. Prints and collages are inspired by connections to places and structures in North West Norfolk. Rawlinson adds intrusions and abstractions to the images, drawing out the notion that these places are portals where different timelines meet. The EDGE CAFÉ is open Mon - Sat 09.00 -16.00

The nicest people, the perfect coffee

A friendly, relaxed place with a unique communal atmosphere. Unlike many other cafes on Mill road, the place itself and the tables are rather spacious. We took a guest from Europe here to have the English breakfast experience. There are several sizes and varieties, all reasonably priced. It was quite nice, but the bacon was not crispy enough.

Great selection of Belgian beers!

Very dissapointed about today’s experienced. Ordered 2 meals and after 40 minutes of waiting when I asked about the food, I was informed about some problem in the kitchen without specifying the reason, instead of informing customers before that order would probably take longer time to wait for. No communication and lack of any respect towards customer’s time. On the top of that, after asking for refund, it took another 10 minutes to sort it out, got the receipt with the refund but money still hasn’t came back to my account. I’m really dissapointed about the service and definitely not going to come back to this place. I do understand that problems may happen anywhere but all what I’d expect is the basic level of communication and respect towards my time. Can’t recommend this place.
