Great beer bar in the centre of Melton. It used to be called BeerHeadZ but changed in June. Anyhow, a few seats outside and excellent quality ales at reasonable prices. Well-recommended !

First experience in this lounge for a day out and as someone who’s been to many lounges I must admit I’ve never had service like it, Luke is so friendly and personable, asks how your days going, he’s relatable with the food choices and is such a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine Luke. I hope your manager appreciates you.

Called in here today for take away food, and while i waited in the very long queue i looked around at the place and it was filthy, the lights were covered in dust and spiders webs, the same as the fan above the door and the aircon, they were thick dust and fluff on them, god knows what its like behind the scenes, the toilet was very dirty too,it had months worth of grime in it and toilet paper thrown all over the floor and toilet system. The whole place needs closing down for a deep clean.

I felt it was quite an awkward place. You have to book in advance for afternoon tea when in reality it was dry, cheap bread with probably aldi ham in the middle and dry cakes. Upon arrival the owner was leaning over the counter playing on her phone. No customer service. Once the food was placed in front of us I noticed that a hair was in one of the scones. She then replaced it with a small shop bought one. The other scone was very hard and dry. The cups were dirty and we had no spoons. The milk was a little off as if it had been sat on the table all day. Overall not a great experience. I think the whole afternoon tea was chucked together onto a cake stand, put on top of sticky tables, costing a couple of quid but charging people so much more. The whole experience was very awkward and it didn't feel very welcoming in there at all which is sad because it's not the service you would expect from a small local coffee shop. Costa provides a better experience!
