The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Oundle East Northamptonshire East Midlands

Wow! So me, my mum and my partner came in this afternoon for Sunday lunch. We haven’t been since the refurb/change of hands. We were promptly shown our table and given menus. I personally had the beetroot and tofu wellington, my partner had the roast lamb and my mum had the roast beef. All were delicious and packed with flavour. Unfortunately there were a few flaws; my mum’s roast beef meal lacked roast potatoes (which are a staple in any roast dinner) and to be honest, were not roast potatoes at all. They seemed to be mere chunks of new potatoes and lightly sautéed but we understand that the kitchen staff are still learning. Also my partner said his roast lamb was delicious but had a little too much fat on it for his liking. But other than that; lunch was delicious and we will definitely come back to try out the other meals on the menu. Dessert was delicious; both me and my partner had the chocolate brownie and it was not too overwhelming or sweet but very soft and enjoyable. Also our server Susie/Suzie was very helpful and very friendly! Thank you! Will be back soon!

Visited on a busy Sunday and had an excellent bowl of Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash soup, as well as an excellent latte. There is always a good atmosphere and it is a relaxing place to visit.

I love going here on my lunch break. I've been working near by greedy piglet for a while and I'm always trying to make time to spend my lunch time there. It's very welcoming and has a nice calm atmosphere. The staff are very, very pleasant and accommodating. The menu is straightforward and they more than happy to serve food thats not even on the menu. The food is always fantastic. And they have NEVER left me wondering how much longer my food is going to take. An absolute, no hesitation to walk in and enjoy. You'll not be disappointed.

With this being the only cage in Oundle that takes orders on just eat I was hoping it was going to be good… I was disappointed. The pizza base was bland tasted like cardboard and completely ruined what were decent quality toppings. The chips were ok. The waffles are clearly store brought despite how easy it is to make a bowl of batter in the morning. They were reheated in a microwave which resulted in about a quarter of each waffle being hard and burned on the inside. I won’t be ordering or visiting again.

I had the most delicious prawn sandwich that I have ever tasted, the bread was soft and freshly baked and the prawns were high quality, crisp, fresh salad and generous portions. The staff were lovely and friendly, I would highly recommend a visit !
