The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Mexican food

This is the best burrito you will get anywhere. This is a complete must have when visiting Newquay. The food is very well priced and is flavoured as well, the staff are also very friendly.

We thought our booking was for Saturday but realised it was for Friday after Taco Boys debited £96 from our card. Phoned and e-mailed holding our hands up to our error and appealing for a refund or to keep the £96 but credit a £180 voucher as we would struggle to enjoy a meal with the charge on our minds. Given the £180 voucher was for dinner and drinks for 2, the £96 charge amounts to a 114% mark-up and presumably 100% margin for 2 covers. Keeping £276 for a table for 2 when the drinks are still in the bottle feels avaricious and money, rather than customer focused. This review was sent to Taco Boys before posting. Still no reply + Robbie really comfortable with taking, what for me was an upsetting call.

Stopped here for a light lunch with the family while visiting West Bay for a couple of days. As lovers of Mexican food we were more than satisfied. The loaded curly fries with the chorizo chilli were fantastic and the chipotle lamb tacos couldn’t have been better. My partner had the special of the day which was pork chilli on a toasted tortilla with a fried egg and more than reasonably priced at £5. She couldn’t have been happier with it. Learned that the restaurant had been forced to move from its location in Bridport on the high street to the quayside which was of benefit to us as we wouldn’t have found it. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is amazing the food is very good, the staff is friendly. I enjoyed the music the food everything.

Had an excellent take away delivered by these lovely friendly people. Had pizzas,mussels and squid bites-all absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this place!

Had such a fabulous time at Taqueria……We tried a bit of everything on the menu and loved it all. There wasn’t one thing that we didn’t enjoy and it was nice that it was all authentic and felt like a true Mexican experience. We particularly loved the chickpea and chorizo tostada and the sweetcorn dish, but all were delicious! It’s very hot upstairs, so that made us eat less I think, so more fans would be good . That said, I think it was the hottest day of the year!! The staff are really lovely and friendly, and happy to talk through the menu. The drinks are awesome…. We had frozen margaritas, they were delicious and tequila shots hit the spot ….. the best way to end a Mexican meal!! Highly recommend this restaurant, it’s a great find and stands out amongst others in Glossop. Really looking forward to going back. It’s hands down the best place I’ve eaten for a long while and 100% the best Mexican food I’ve had.

This is the best breakfast I have ever had! Came from manchester and visited here for brunch, got 2 of the “brunch” (full english with fruit twist!) and 2 drinks. Very friendly waiter, service was excellent and food came very quickly. 100% recommend

We stopped at the newley opened cafe rio There are only open for take a way Due to corona virus It was nice to sit outside in the sunshine We was served by Jackie the owner She is very friendly and helpful Are food was yummy And I will be going back next time I'm in brighouse. I'm look forward to been able to sit inside for lunch Thank you Jackie for a lovely breakfast

Absolutely amazing place! Ordered the OG dog meal, 8inch hot dog with onions, mustard and ketchup in a really soft white sub roll with hand cut triple cooked chips which are unbelievably good! And a complimentary cup of coffee all for £6.50, bargain! Very very clean kitchen 👌 the staff here are so friendly and make you feel at home! highly recommended

Not sure what happened to Once Was Lost! We went last year (summer 2022) with friends and had really great and tasty tacos outside. The atmosphere was busy and fun, staff were attentive. However, visiting in February 2023 and it was a completely different feel. Staff did not greet us when we entered or give us any clue they knew we were there. We asked if they had a table and they disappeared to prep a table. After sitting down we were given a menu and apparently they only do pizzas now? Not sure why they’ve had a menu revamp as the tacos were fantastic and unique. Ordered drinks but the coke tasted more of the soda mixer. We ordered 2 garlic breads which came out at different times and when pizzas came they had got the toppings wrong on 2 pizzas. We made do as we were in a rush. The pizzas were tasty and straight from the oven. They did have a very charred/burned taste and also came out at different times to one another. Staff felt inexperienced. Simple customer service things were not done but they were not rude. Staff were friendly. Pricing seemed fair.

Nice tasty tacos. These are street food guys and it’s what you expect - no frills tasty food. Fries were also absolutely brilliant as a side. Will return

I got a delivery from here last nice again the Beef Burritos and full of Meat and being Honest rather difficult eat without it slopping all over my face which is perfect for sitting back on a Friday Night in front of the TV. The Beef is succulent and very Tasty, I had the Dirty Fries last night was draped in Cheese and Chilli Con Carne, very nice to much for 1 Meal and have had to put some to one side

Stopped by today and had such a good experience. Charae and Grace were really friendly and made me feel welcome straight away. The service was great, and the food (chicken and beef burrito and chicken gyozas) were top quality—fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re around!

Absolutely delicious. Had a beef burrito just now and I wouldn’t change a thing. Service was great and the food was even better.
