I took a friend who I owed a lunch to & as I drove through New Cumnock he spotted a cafe open. It was a delight to find this lovely cafe selling Greek food. We had coffee, traditional Greek pie(homemade) followed by baklava & a cinnemon iced bun. We chatted to the owner who had moved here from Athens to be cloe to his Mother in Glasgow. The coffee was so good we had a second cup. On paying the price was reasonable at £22.80 for two. We have already recommemded to friends & neighbours & will return. Open 7am until 4pm.

Tony and his cousin are such kind generous hosts. The coffee blend is perfect. Cappuccino and lattes are so tasty and refreshing. The home baking is phenomenal. I'd say the scones are the best in Scotland. The lunch panini and sandwiches are so fresh and tasty. The attention to detail for service is exceptional. Plum crumble cake, pineapple cake, brownies and the savoury cakes are delicious. It's not well sign posted but its next door to Coop Funeral home and across from the Butchers.

Gyros is a great little Greek restaurant/café in Ayr. The atmosphere is chilled out with relaxed friendly service. The Greek coffee is excellent and you won't find a cheaper coffee in Ayr. My partner and I have been twice for a light meze lunch and will be back again: a new favourite.

Just home from a very disappointing visit to Lido, Troon. Firstly, service was very slow but it was busy and not enough staff on the floor so........! I had a delicious caeser salad to start, hubby had garlic bread - huge portion of garlic bread so nothing to complain about for starters. Mains - well, what can I say?? I ordered the haddock goujons and my hubby ordered tagliatelle carbonara. Three goujons which were all batter, hardly any fish at all. Huge plate of chips (possibly to disguise the lack of fish), mushy peas and tartar sauce. Would really have preferred to have some haddock with my batter thanks. Husband's tagliatelle was basically tagliatelle swimming in cream. No flavour to his meal at all. I did mention the lack of fish to the member of staff who cleared our plates and, to be fair, she deducted a small amount off the bill for my batter and chip lunch. Didn't bother staying for a coffee and, will we hurry back? No, not for the foreseeable future.

myself & my girlfriend were sat at Table 9. I got a Bundaberg ginger beer (£2.95) and my girlfriend got a can of Coke (£2.45). I ordered a cheese & onion panini (£6.25) and my girlfriend ordered a club toastie (£8.45). They both came with a small side salad, drizzled with balsamic vinegar. We also shared a portion of fries which cost £3.25. My girlfriend thought her toastie had no flavour to it and that it definitely was not worth the price they charge. Overall, wouldn’t return - would go to Wetherspoons if in EK shopping centre again as you get better value for money.

I met a friend here as always frequent other coffee spots and forget about this place. Was very busy as schools had just stopped. Nice enough and girl who took order friendly however 80p for splash plant based milk is ridiculous and likely wouldn't go back on this basis. I love coffee but almost £5 for coffee is not for me - no excuse for that price!
