The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in City and Hunslet Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

What a gem this place is. Walking through the door to a bright welcome, and smelling the gorgeous aromas we knew this was going to be a good choice. The decor and ambience is spot on, super clean bathrooms (always a deal breaker for me). The food was 10/10, absolutely delicious. A particular highlight was the aubergine dish which I’m still thinking about now. Price is very reasonable for top quality ingredients. What makes this place so good is the service. It’s a long time since I’ve experienced such friendly and thoughtful service in this country. Our waiter in particular was attentive & super friendly. We will most certainly be back next time we’re in Leeds.

Came for lunch here and had the Seafood Paella and Churros for dessert. Service was lovely, and the seafood was great quality! Will definitely come again next time we visit Leeds

A mate of mine who lives in Leeds recommended this place... OMFG... recommendation of the century! Had a pitta with falafel, hummus, extra aubergine and pickles. Everything top drawer!! Shame it’s so messy or I’d be taking some back on the train home for the family

A mi novio y a mí nos encanta venir a comer algo rápido para almorzar. El servicio es rápido, personal amable y comida deliciosa. Las envolturas de shawarma son enormes y absolutamente deliciosas: una ganga para 3. 50! Las opciones de ensalada también son muy sabrosas. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente para un almuerzo rápido barato y alegre pero delicioso y auténtico!

Después de que le vendieron el lugar, estaba feliz de finalmente tener un sándwich y ¡es como si el dueño anterior nunca se hubiera ido! Sabe preparar un buen desayuno en cualquier momento del día. Sin embargo, el tocino es un poco grasoso. . . Aparte de eso, es un lugar muy bonito.

Out for a cocktail and went in early ish Saturday night, good cocktails, great knowledge and a nice looking place. However, the music was way too loud for a bar that was empty (maybe it was my age), I mean way too loud! Drank up and left!

After watching the Leeds United Championship open top bus celebration, we didn't want the day to end, so booked a table at Ambiente in Leeds. The staff were so welcoming, a great atmosphere, as it was full of other Leeds United fans. It wasn't rowdy, but buoyant. The first hit was a wine recommendation - absolutely wonderful - Valdepalacios, Rioja - if you're interested? We were then shown to a booth, chose our tapas dishes/sharing platter/nibbles. Everything was beautifully presented and utterly delicious. There were 3 of us, we all shared everything, we were all absolutely full up and sadly couldn't manage a pudding, but felt we had had the 2nd special experience of the day. Thank you.

La primera vez que vine aquí, hace unas 3 semanas, a tomar un café con un amigo, esto fue solo porque el café al que he estado yendo estaba ocupado. ¡No estaba seguro de qué esperar! ¡Me sorprendió gratamente! El personal, no está en su cara, la comida es sin prisas, el ambiente es perfecto lejos de la ciudad ocupada. La primera vez solo íbamos a tomar café y pastel, pero cambiamos de opinión y tuvimos una tortilla y un sándwich, la comida recién cocinada era preciosa. Tanto que hemos vuelto, otra tortilla más y aguacate en tostadas. Deliciosa. Este es ahora mi café de elección en Leeds.

El restaurante cerró pero no reembolsará una tarjeta de regalo comprada por £ 200. Desgracia. No me dijeron sobre el cierre previsto, llamaron y dijeron que no podían hacer nada.

The food was rotten & smelly. This place should be visited by the authorities & inspected. The whole room is stinking as I am typing this. This is such a big let down as we love Lebanese food. The food we were sent is simply not fit for human consumption!
