The Spanish Table dining experience was a great evening . An excellent tasting menu fro Andalusia with paired wines . Great service with descriptions of each dish . Lovely to share our experiences of Andalusia with the staff. Finally a great value for money evening. Looking forward to next event. Thank you all at Iberica for a memorable evening.

We visited for my husbands birthday in August this year after pleasant meals here previously, but unfortunately this one left us disappointed. Before our table was ready we went for a drink in the bar and had to sit on seats which were very low to the ground. There was no table to put your drinks on so you either had to put them on the floor(!) Or hold them and have condensation drip all over you. Our tapas dishes came and went and were average at best. I have never had a Spanish tortilla with less flavour. The paella which one of us ordered came 20 minutes after the rest of our food had been and gone ( paella took well over an hour to arrive) it was very bland and had SO much salt in it. To spend almost £300 and leave so disappointed was heartbreaking. We have written twice to complain after receiving an email asking for feedback, which we were advised would be responded to but we are here 1 month later with no response.

Great service at this great venue. We started with a pleasant greeting and were show to our table. We were a party of 7 celebrating 3 August birthdays in our family. The tapa menu is perfect for families as its such a wide choice there are dishes suitable for all ages and tastes. Staff were very kind and attentive. Food served was an excellent range of flavors. And cocktails after the meal a perfect ending. The service charge is shared by the deserving staff. Thankyou for a lovely lunch.

Called in on Saturday afternoon for a negroni or two. They are usually excellent here. What a let down, no good at all, no punch, weak flavour. Come on iberica, we'll maybe give it one more chance.

The place itself looks lovely, we were greeted very warmly by staff. We want to point out the staff are the reason we had a somewhat decent experience. A while back, my boyfriend had told me how amazing the food was here and I love tapas so, I was ready to try it. When we arrived the lady who seated us was very kind and asked if we were here for a special occasion and my boyfriend explained it was for my birthday but I didn’t want a fuss, the lady offered us a quiet free glass of cava each! And we have to say that was absolutely lovely cava and such considerate staff! Service was impeccable! Sadly we were sat right by the bottom of stairs where the food was being brought out so sadly lots of stomping down the stairs past us loaded with plates in each arm. We were having to keep our glasses centre table as we were both concerned somebody would whizz past and knock one off, but this was a very minor issue and didn’t ruin our night whatsoever, just maybe the table could be placed somewhere else. We wanted a bottle of wine however the cheapest one was actually a jug of sangria, we both enjoy sangria so that is what we got. However, for 29 pounds for a jug of sangria we didn’t expect it to come looking like a 12 pound pitcher from Wetherspoons with mason jars to drink out of with paper straws.mason jars are more for coffee or cheap cocktails, considering the interior design of iberica we expected some normal nice looking glasses. Nevertheless we still enjoyed the taste of the sangria. The food it self, where do we start. For a tiny meat platter it was 15 pounds, nice ham and salami, the truffle one was my favorite but the chorizo was like a paste and didn’t taste that good. Wouldn’t say it was worth the price. The chilli garlic prawns, absolutely not. They were vile, one of them still had the poo in 🤢 the sauce wasn’t even garlic or chilli it was like a fishy water, the prawns cost 15 pounds and we got four or five on the place, they weren’t even cooked properly they were most definitely frozen, so disappointing and overpriced. We then ordered patatas bravas, these were nearly 8 pounds. The potatoes were also frozen and undercooked and the sauce was all at the bottom of the bowl, no flavor or seasoning, the fact that we couldn’t even get proper fresh roasted potatoes for such a simple dish is concerning to me. My boyfriend was disappointed as he told me when he went a while back everything was fresh and astounding, maybe we came on a bad night, maybe a change of chef or management has taken place. Neither of us like to complain or like confrontation, however looking back we definitely should have sent a lot of it back as we both paid nearly 60 pounds each for the whole thing and yet both left hungry and feeling skint afterwards. I would say the food was the main reason we came and yet was the biggest let down. I still stick to my word that the service was great! However the quality of food and drink was really poor. For something so simple like tapas they really undersold it. We mostly likely will try ambiente next time.

Despite a beautiful venue and decent service, the real disappointment here was the food - extremely bland for a restaurant of this quality not to mention extremely overpriced. We ordered a variety of tapas dishes and needless to say we did not really enjoy a single one. The olives were adequate but it’s not like you can really go wrong there… The rest of the food was just dull. The patatas bravas were effectively oven McCain chips - very strange. For a restaurant of this quality and price I really did expect better. The venue and decor were incredible, the floor staff were amiable and did a good job, but I certainly won’t be returning due to the poor quality of the food. Underwhelming. Re-strategise the approach with the food quality and this place has potential to be up there as one of the best in Leeds, but myself and my partner both left just feeling like we had been completely ripped off and disappointed. There are plenty of tapas restaurants in Leeds which do it better and for much less price!

Went for dinner one Saturday evening in January: very welcoming and beautiful surroundings. Good menu selection, however the quality of the products didn't live up to expectations at all; for the pricing I'd want a bit more quality. The mussels were small and stringy, meatballs could've been Fray Bentos - just to name a couple of things. Drinks were excellent, and servers were all lovely and helpful (albeit it took a while to get someone's attention due to the large party in at the same time). Desserts were also delicious, which saved the rest of the meal. The place obviously can do better based on rave reviews from family, but on this occasion I left a little disappointed.

Came here for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Food is simply beautiful and lovingly presented. Wonderful wine too. The staff are great-thank you Vicky, David and Facunda for making it so special! Don’t miss this place if you are in Leeds!

This was our first visit to Iberica Leeds which is set in very pleasant surroundings with very polite staff but the eating experience was very disappointing. A bill of £126.96 for two with the only alcoholic drink being a half of lager represented extraordinarily poor value for money. The restaurant was empty other than ourselves and I can guess why. The food was served on cold plates in dishes which were cold too meaning that we were effectively eating cool or at best luke warm dishes which, at best, could only be described as very average, of the meanness portion sizes and poorly presented. I have eaten widely and have had wonderful eating experiences all over the world with better value for money in Mayfair. It was clear to me why we were the only couple in the restaurant experience lunch. I’m afraid that we shall be joining those with no intention of returning. If you keep your business model as it is, you will continue to disappoint the discerning customer. At the very least serve your food in such a way that it is properly warm to eat…. On hot dishes and warm plates.

I don't generally write reviews but our experience was disappointing. Portions were very small and overpriced. The food was bland. None of us felt like we had had a satisfying meal and we had each paid quite a lot. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend.

Unbelievably bad. Travelled 200 miles to meet up with family and friends. Reviews suggested the food would be great. It was unremittingly grim and massively overpriced. Toasted bread with tomatoes - £5.50 one piece of bread. Meatballs with potato parmentier; tiny meatballs totally lacking in favour with mashed potatoes, definitely not parmentier. Calamari - not sure there was any calamari just tiny bits of batter with a vague taste of squid. Prawns - 6 tasteless prawns with a sauce to match. We ended up cancelling the remaining food. Olives and patatas bravas were fine. Impressive wine list but little choice under £40. I have no problem paying over £40 for wine but it should accompany high quality food. In respect of what was on offer at Ibérica any wine over £25 would have been excessive. It was my treat and I'm was so embarrassed to be served the worst Spanish food I have ever tasted. Never written such a damning review and hope never to have write another one.

Not up to the hype in my opinion - maybe just an off night but they need to step it up in order to keep the reputation they currently hold. No welcome at all at the bar - not a single word was said - no good evening: no what can I get you - nothing but a blank face as though we should not be there - thankfully a more enthusiastic young man tipped up to save the moment - but as you don’t get a second change at this ‘first impression’ a little too late. So onto food, what we had was ok and just that nothing special, delivered in wrong order, some plates arrived teppid - all a bit confused and then cheese - 3 small bits straight out of the fridge - no biscuits, bread- unappetising. Wine was delicious as was Victoria whose delightful personality and knowledge saved the day but all in all not the wonderful event we had hoped for.

I booked for mid afternoon tapas for my family and friends to start our wedding day celebrations. We were not disappointed. There were 13 of us and we were accommodated in the bar area. The Iberica team were fantastic, from the online booking and helping me to select the food, to the actual team at the restaurant on the day, nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful and very tasty and just what I had wanted. It felt like a little bit of Spain in the middle of Leeds. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed it. We will be back very soon.

Attended friends wedding and wow! All I can say is the food was orgasmic! The octopus “pulpo” canapés were to die for! Quality wines and drinks available and such an exquisite venue ! I will definitely return for a meal sometime . Staff were friendly and super helpful.

The BEST Spanish food in Leeds. Amazing staff, food and building! Great for couples, friends and families.

Dinner for one is rarely a momentous occasion - usually, eat, drink and depart. Not so with my tapas supper at Iberica last night. A warm welcome when I walked in, shown to a great table where I could see everything that was going on. Menus and a wine list were offered together with suggestions of favourite dishes. I chose three dishes (pan con tomate, grilled prawns, and chicken with romescu) and a 375m carafe of Pasos de Capula which at £16.50 was good value for what turned out to be three glasses. The ambiance is great as was the service - heartily recommended.

There are some old favourites and some new ideas on the menu here, and that’s what makes it interesting. The service is really good, attentive and friendly, the space is lovely and airy, but it’s the taste that matters, and you won’t be disappointed here.
