Excellent food staff were fantastic, great location. Do not serve alcohol but you can bring a bottle. No corkage charge, provide glasses and ice bucket. Brilliant atmosphere highly reccomend

Love it! Great service, exceptional food. We will return and recomend it to everybody. Each dish full of flavours, fab desserts and lovely drinks. We even get complimentary soup,. Restaurant is full of character, cosy and very clean. Our server was lovely, we could not ask for more. Great value for money,. I was quite surprised when received the bill because I assumend it will be a lot more. Gluten free menu available, with great choice of GF dishes.

I went to Bab Tooma in Leeds. I had a fantastic time, meals were tasty, I had some grilled lamb chops and it was grilled to perfection.

Great food and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced also.

Sam was very kind and provided excellent service. We got a complementary lentil soup each as it was our first visit and all of the food was lovely.

Went this evenig with my kids. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent quick service. Complimentary soup a nice touch. Good selection of food for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Well presented food. Waiters first day, I think (Shahab). He was polite and comprised on kids meal selection. Would go again.

This is my fourth at Bab Tooma, I'd want to thank Jawana for going above and beyond to ensure that our dinner experience was exceptional. Their sincere welcome and excellent service made all the difference. Our server, Jawana, was just fantastic.

We tried a lot of different starters and mains, they were all amazing. The food was good and authentic. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was impeccable Update: went for a second meal. 10 of us. Food served lukewarm, on metal hot plates but with no heating. Restaurant was cold, so any remaining heat in the food disappeared in minutes. No sauces with meals. Chips cold. So disappointing after first meal which was 10/10. This was 6/10. We spent over £180.

Delicious Meal at Bab Tooma (Roundhay) with wonderful atmosphere. After the delightful mix grill mains we had a sweet slice of traditional baklava with cardamom tea.

The food is delicious, I would rate is one of the best Mediterranean meals that we had. Lentil soup was complimentary .The cold and hot meze were very good, the kids finished them all. Portion of the platters is decent compared to similar outlets. The staff are very attentive and the ambiance is great. There was also a complimentary tea pot to finish the meal. The kunafe was ok but not the best. Will visit again for sure. I think that they do breakfast buffet as well- check their website for promotions

Just found out about this gem. Excellent service, very good ambiance and delicious food. We tried the usual lamb chops, kebab, chicken skewers and the portions and the taste was good. Will be definitely visiting this place often

The food was a 5 ⭐. Plus the customer service specially from Shahab who serves our table. First time visited will always recommend.

The food is normal, nothing special, and the service is considered bad, especially for an employee wearing a suit We asked for tea and dessert after the meal. They brought a tray of tea and dessert and the table was not cleaned. They just removed the lunch dishes and not all of them! I asked the employee to clean the table and he did not clean it!

Hard one to review really as although we enjoyed the meal, it was in essence just an expensive mixed grill, not sure what I expected but there was nothing flavour wise to make it stand above a mixed grill say from a pub?, we chose The Beast which was for 4 people (£80) but in reality was just about enough for 3 people and one was a light eater, the complimentary soup and Muhammara probably helped. It’s a beautifully decorated space but was totally empty at Saturday lunch and it was cold inside which is strange as that’s the second Oakwood restaurant this week which didn’t have heating! I’d still recommend but probably wouldn’t rush back.

Food was hot and delicious and served quickly. Stuff were amazing. And the most important thing is the hospitality of the stuff

Tried very hard to make our experience pleasant. Ordered a normal mixed grill to feed 8 on waiter’s recommendation, but was not told the price was x2 that of comparable restaurants. Felt like I was in London without being in London 😆

I cannot implore you enough to just try this place. The food is out of this world, the lamb fillet is the best I have ever had. The salads are bright, fresh and zingy, the cheese rolls, divine. The staff on point, very attentive but not invasive, just go. Track me down if you're disappointed.

The service was perfectly ok but it would have been nice to felt a bit more welcomed. We waited quite a while before the server came to take the order - it might have been nice to have taken a drinks order while we waited.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bob Tooma, and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Muhammad provided excellent service, attending to every detail with care and professionalism. Shahab, the manager, ensured that everything ran smoothly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The food was absolutely incredible — authentic Syrian cuisine that was bursting with flavor. Each dish was prepared with passion and tasted amazing. The combination of delicious food and top-notch service made the entire experience unforgettable. Highly recommended! We will definitely be coming back!

Delicious breakfast buffet, lovely staff and quality service (Sam). The eggs and bread selection was delicious, would also highly recommend the chickpeas and beans. Would be great to add some humus and halloumi to the offering.

I love the food there. Went with a friend for dinner and ended up also taking back home a box of baklava varieties. Coming from a family of excellent amateur and professional sweet makers I can tell the difference between average and excellent. These sweets are something you have to try!

We had a lovely selection of dishes that came really quickly. There was one dish we didn't like that was quickly taken away and assessed and taken off the bill. The service was delightful and we've had a great time.
