I had the Karn Yarek because I LOVE Aubergine and it hit every spot! Stunning! I’d love to come and dine in sometime!

Brilliant! Manager sorted out our issues with Groupon vouchers. Food was excellent and Tasty.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and the food is awesome and best of all it just tastes fresh. What separates this visit was the service I received. The hospitality I received from a brother called 'Wa-el' was phenomenal. He went above and beyond more than a normal person. I wish him all the best! I will be back again!!

Had a reservation booked for an anniversary for weeks via a groupon discount I was given for Christmas, got a call today on the day of the booking to let us know they decided not to accept them 3 days ago because they’ve lost too much money and regret letting people use them, guy on the phone that rang me was very rude and apparently isn’t his or their problem, told me to ring groupon to get a refund from them instead. Won’t bother trying now.

Lovely setting, lovely food but freezing cold restaurant. The toilet were cosy warm! Wear a jumper and do not sit near the window as there is a draft!

I had a great time with my mate , we had the shawarma and kabab The service was very friendly , Hosam was exceptional with good service and left us dying in fits of laughter. And we got tea on the house as well Will be back ! Highly recommend

Amazing experience Yamen was great

We’d never had a bad experience here - until today! We decided to get take out using the Bab Tooma website (which offers 20% off) but clearly the order hadn’t been processed because when I went pick it up I had to wait 20 minutes. “At least it’ll be fresh!” My wife said. But the chips were cold and the kibbeh barely warm. So, a bit disappointing - up your game Bab Tooma!

Had an incredible dining experience at Bob Tooma on Roundhay Road, Leeds! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and looked after by Tareq, who provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed chicken fillet, chicken livers, mixed Kebab and finished off with an amazing koonafa—each dish was full of authentic Syrian flavours and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a great meal. Highly recommend Bob Tooma to anyone looking for top-quality Syrian cuisine in Leeds. We’ll definitely be back!

My family visited Bab Tooma after a while. The place is much better than before . The food is of reasonable portion and affordable price. I loved the chicken manifest platter. We did not like the rice side, but the restaurant offered a replacement and apologised too, which I think is very important and well mannered. We will definitely visit again.

Let me just tell you, Bob or Bab Tooma is absolutely unbelievable Jeff. Especially shout to my guy Hassan! Unreal customer service. Will be back.

I had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday dinner and it was an unforgettable experience. Yamen, was excellent throughout the evening—attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. We started with the Kibbeh. It was hearty but not too heavy, and every bite was a delight. Next, we had muhammara, which was a standout dish, a dip that hit all the right notes, and when paired with the soft, light bread, it was the ideal combination. Shish taouk was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. To wrap up the meal, Yamen recommended the kunafa for dessert, and it was the perfect choice. It was a sweet, indulgent treat. Every bite was pure bliss. Overall, the meal was fantastic, and the service from Yamen made it even better. And not to forget the complimentary lentil soup, tea, yummy baklava and the birthday song from all the staff made it really special. A must visit again.

Our first visit to Bab Tooma in Leeds. I have to say the food was superb and so delicious. Service was excellent,,,different first class. We were looked after by Yamen, Jwana & Ghalia who were welcoming and so lovely. We definitely visit here again.

Came here for my birthday with the family and it was perfect! A special Thank You to Husam and Aminah for amazing customer service, you made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to help. The food was fantastic, very flavoursome and huge portions. There was something on the menu for everyone, kids and vegetarian husband very happy..the lamb shank was super tender! I would recommend for good vibes and food.

Good value of food with group on voucher.Good ambiance, friendly staff. On top of our group on offer of 2 course meal for 4 + drinks included, we ordered 1 mango juice extra. The staff waive the mango juice when we asked for our bill. It was a great meal out and we will go back again.

Really tasty food in huge portions and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Only complaint is that the service could have been a little bit quicker.

The food was lovely as was the service from all staff there and the lighting /decor was cozy so would definitely recommend to others. My only negative comment, which is why I knocked a star off, is that all both the starters and he main were brought out together, whilst we were still having the soup. Not only did this clutter the table but meant the main went cold by the time we finished our starters. This was a shame but everything else was lovely.

Feedback: We had a wonderful experience at Bab toma,Leeds! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly cheerful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The variety of vegetable-based dishes was fantastic, and everything we tried was delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised to be served Arabic teasuch a nice touch! Although fatayer wasn't on the menu, the staff kindly agreed to prepare a special batch for us, which we greatly appreciated. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

First time here and we had a lovely meal. Staff seemed a little disorganised. Our table was missing cutlery and drinks got mixed up with another table along with the starters. Food was lovely though and served hot and fresh. Our waitress Joanna was very helpful and guided us through the menu. She was very pleasant and smiley ☺️. We will definitely return!

Sorry for the poor review. The food was outstanding and I would go again but sadly the level of service was poor. I was charged double for a group meal and despite having proof that this had happened, the issue still wasn't resolved. I'm afraid, I will not be visiting again, based on this, which is a massive shame as I had a great meal, which was cooked to perfection.

Food was amazing with lots of flavours, service was very friendly and the food arrived quickly. Staff sang happy birthday too which was great! Although, attending in winter we asked for the heater to be turned on as it was cold inside, the food was also cold before we could finish. Overall I would definitely recommend going.

Friendly staff and the starters came out very quickly after ordering. Unfortunately there were a few issues with the mains. Half of our table didn't get ours until the other half had almost finished eating theirs due to delays, one dish came out stone cold and the rest came out barely warm. One person couldn't eat theirs because the chicken didn't look properly cooked.

I had the lamb chops, and my partner opted for the lamb skewers – both dishes were absolutely amazing. The meat was tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight. We also had a complimentary Dental soup which was amazing! The venue itself added so much to the experience. It had such an authentic atmosphere that it felt like we’d been transported on holiday. The decor, music, and overall ambiance made it a truly memorable dining experience. If you're looking for delicious food paired with a unique and immersive setting, I highly recommend Bab Tooma. We’ll definitely be back!

Restaurant is full of character, cosy and very clean. Our server was lovely, we could not ask for more. Great value for money,. I was quite surprised when received the bill because I assumend it will be a lot more. Gluten free menu available, with great choice of GF dishes.

I went to Bab Tooma in Leeds. I had a fantastic time, meals were tasty, I had some grilled lamb chops and it was grilled to perfection.
