Easy online booking system is a huge plus for me. The atmosphere is very good, all the decoration is very nice. Food was fantastic. Especially the cold platter and the desserts like Grande Kunafa (should be Kunafa grande btw). Tea was nice as well. Theres was a £11 service charge which I wasn't aware, perhaps it was written somewhere in the menu and I didn't see. But overall the food and service was very good so didn't mind. It was a special treat dinner.

I ordered on Uber eat the £39 meal for 2 and received 1 small 8oz rice for 2 people very greedy!!! Hot potato was terrible as shown in the picture. Salad was missing. Phoned up the restaurant asking for a missing item they told me well it is on the description but we not serving any more with this order! In regards of the rice it’s not enough for 1 person not for 2 I don’t know why it’s advertised meal for 2! The grilled meat was ok but cold. Will be not returning any more

The place is lovely. Tasty food. But the quantity is not right. It could be more to fulfill the group.

Today I went to the restaurant, but the food was very bad, the meat was dry, and the chicken was burnt, as is clear in the picture. The employee also lied to us and said that the service charge is a table fee and not for the staff while it is for the staff and he forced us to pay it because I came before this time and canceled it. The restaurant was better a while ago, but now it's bad and this is the last time I will come there

An amazing experience overall. The food tasted very good..The meat was very juicy and cooked to perfection. I loved the fact the service was very quick and we were well looked after. A definitely must place to try out if you are in Leeds. To note, there is also a car park right across the restaurant where you could park for free upto 2 hrs.

We arrived before our booking time and we were told that we don’t have a booking so I mentioned I called and was booked in for this time. The staff then seated us down. While we were looking at the menu we were told to move tables because the table we were sat at was reserved so we had to move. We found that unprofessional because I made reservations too so don’t understand why we had to move. The food came fast and it was okay. We all got different dishes, it was okay but found the lamb chops over cooked and hard to cut into. Felt like I was fighting with my lamp chops. We were served by different staff. When it was time for our bill. We saw that there was an extra dish added that we didn’t order so lovely Mohammed went and adjusted. I would say that it was kind of disorganised. We did not see the point of being moved and being told that the table was reserved when we made a reservation too.

The service too bad they didn’t organise the table for us, And we had waited for a long time . The food had been served after a long time.

Had a wonderful experience at Bab Tooma! Lots of authentic and tasty food. Particularly recommend the Feast for 2. Great service and was offered soup, arabic tea and an extra piece of dessert because we were 4 people on the house! Highly recommend!!

Food was ok, but most annoying thing is adding a service charge of 10% to the bill. Not sure why places do this, making people feel obliged to pay it. Wasn’t worth the extra 10% which came out to a fair bit considering we were a table of 10

I expected proper home made food in such a small restaurant, the balanced quality quantity reported to the price was disappointing. Nothing special about the same "commercial food".

Food is alright. Service was quick. But this place is by far the most expensive place with the worst value for money food. Taboule - consisting of parsley, mint, onions, lemon juice, salt and olive oil, barely 50 grams.. is it really necessary to charge £8? Same for every other salad. The beast, £80 worth of mostly chicken, 2 lamb chops & skewers… barely worth £20. Extremely overpriced. Never again.

ALHAMDULLILAH, first experience in ramadan. Food was lovely jubbly, fish as fresh as you could catch, shawarma as soft as succulent as the sauce. lamb was lavishly cooked, my mate devoured the entire lamb shwarma. Service was excellent as they had prayer mats. MAN LIKE YAMEN, BIG UP TO HIM, ALL SMILE WITH TEETH AS WE ENJOYED OUR MEAL. DEFFO WORTH A VISIT IF YOUR IN LEEDS!!!

Food is excellent and a lot of variety. I had a lemon-mint drink and noticed that they allow you to BYO alcohol although they don't seel it, and this should not be a surprise as it's a Middle Eastern restaurant. Super busy on a Saturday night and a bit to wait but we and our friends have not been rushed and we ended up spending there 3 hours (!!) till closure time. We enjoyed all the food from the starters to the dessert and can only recommend Bab Tooma!

Amazing decor and vibe with an authentic feel. Really tasty food and desserts to die for 😋 There weren't really any vegetable side dishes available - meat, meat, meat! The only downside was the price which seemed considerably more expensive that anything I've seen recently (even considering recent inflation) at circa £20 per main.

Had ro wait a long time for our dishes as they had also a big group. Portions are small. Bit dry quite disappointed.

They demonstrated amazing waiting skills, good communication and a friendly attitude. I had so much time on my hands, I had my dates with a knife and fork, also note the dates must have been delicious, because the bugs inside left nothing behind.

Had a lovely meal at Bab Tooma. We were a group of 6 people plus a baby. The restaurant was accommodating for the baby and 1 child in our party. Food is great. Large delicious portions - possibly the best lamb fillet I’ve had. Food cooked to perfection and super tasty. Great staff super helpful, really polite and went the extra mile at every turn. Will definitely return. Really enjoyed our meal.

A quiet Thursday night with a small group of friends, but we had attentive service and high quality, tasty Syrian food. Babtooma is always a safe choice for a good quality meal.

Really overpriced!! Our bill came to £106.00- I was left thinking for what did we pay that much. At a different restaurant the amount of food and quality would easily been around £60. Won’t visit again
