The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Holywell, St Mary's Oxford South East

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal out. Food fresh, very tasty and plentiful. Service excellent. Saw me using fork to pass over some couscous to my husband and before I knew it they had noticed and brought me a spoon. I had dropped some couscous off my fork onto table and suddenly we were brought a plate with extra couscous. Would definitely return if in the area.

My partner booked this place for our anniversary, thinking it’d feel like a piece of Spain. The restaurant was packed — everyone chatting over tapas, sipping wine, thinking they were in Barcelona. But to me, it felt like a very British version of Spain: clean, well-run, and expensive. £8 for patatas bravas made with British potatoes sums it up. It looked right, it ticked all the boxes, but it didn’t feel right. Still, if you’ve never been to Spain, maybe it’s enough. For me, it was just a reminder of how far home really is.

Overcharged!!!!!! We didn't check bill properly!!!!!!!!! By £17!!!! Very small portions of tapas. Not value for money at all. Will never visit again!!!

This might be my favourite restaurant in Oxford. The food is delicious and very fresh. We usually share dishes from the mezze part of the menu – Baba ganoush, Tabouleh, Foul Modammas and Zahra being four we order regularly. The staff are great and the prices are very reasonable. Love it!

We had burger, shawerma, shrimp pasta & Salad Portions, quality & the service were amazing. Highly recommended & definitely will go again.
