The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in St Peters St Albans East of England

The food was delicious. Fresh and cooked perfectly. The lady serving us wonderful, helpful. A lovely little cafe, worth trying their tasty Greek food and breakfasts. Coffee good and fruit juice freshly made. What a wonderful way to start the day :-)

How had I not been here before? Food was great and so was the service. Will be back soon.

Went Sunday lunchtime, not planned. Very pleasantly surprised as expecting normal Mediterranean, but this was more. That the chef took the trouble to separately poach the pear in cinnamon and brown sugar as a garnish to the deep fried goats cheese with apple chutney, is an example of the care and effort taken here.

Very disappointed and will definitely not be ordering from here again. Late lunch midweek takeaway - so at a time where there’s no reason stock should be low and definitely a quieter time of the day. Mixed mezze for two, the saddest thing, half a tomato, half a cucumber and a drizzle of salad leaves? I’d understand this for one person but the lack of food for £15 is not acceptable, falafel also very hard on the outside. Moussaka inedible - absolutely swimming in oil, couldn’t taste anything else. Seriously need to up their standards, maybe they just don’t care when it’s a takeaway, who knows.

Had a fantastic night in aspava, staff absolutely wonderful and fantastic food for great price!

Don't go on a weeknight. Allegedly open til 11pm but very keen for you to pay and leave as early as possible.

Took my daughter for pancakes at Megan at the Old Bell after some Christmas shopping. Lovely place pancakes were delicious and service was sweet. Will be back with the rest of my family! Thank you
