Came for lunch today- food was delicious & our server Alana was great. Will definitely be coming back soon!

My friends and I went on Friday night and we had a lovely time. Alana served us and was wonderful - very attentive and great customer service.

Me and my sister were served by a girl called Alana I think, she is one of the most lovely people and really informed us on the menu and her personal favourites. Would go back again due to the fantastic service and the open posh lamb doner !

We have a lovely date at Megan’s in st. Albans, the food was yummy and fairly quick which is soo relevant when you have younger children and our waitress Lucy was top! Very friendly with the little one and attentive, very good recommendations also! Thanks xx

We had a lovely dinner with friends on Thursday 23rd May. The food was really delicious and the service was superb. Our waitress Stella was so kind, sweet and pilite. I will definitely recommend Megan's to my friends and family.

Pretty decor, some nice vegetarian options on the menu, a good place to meet friends for brunch. Not loud in the day time so you can hear each other talk and there is a child friendly menu with colouring in to help keep the kids happy. When we went our server Lucie went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and space for our pram, which was appreciated.

Just had an awesome brunch plate. This is now my favourite breakfast destination in St Albans. Nice work guys!!!

I have gone a few times and a very good meal, but today, I was not impressed with their Megan's breakfast. The bacon had been cooked and kept in a hot plate for a time not cooked to order, the Greek sausage all I could taste was the herbs, not the sausage, the rest of the meal was good. Excellent service from the staff.

Food is always delicious and quick service! Vegan options are amazing and my partmer was very happy with his full grill! Alana, our server, was lovely and welcoming!

A family friendly restaurent. It offers a wide selection across its menu's. There is paid parking available within a stones throw from the restaurent.

We arrived, were seated by a fairly diffident young man who hardly acknowledged us, then waited for 20 minutes before leaving as no one came to take an order. Table next to us were in the same boat, having waited even longer, so we went elsewhere. Seems quite nice inside but obviously can't rate the food as we didn't get that far. Maybe we were unlucky on the day and they have staffing issues but it'll be a while before we try again.

Food is average, typically cold by the time it gets to you. It's also on the expensive end. Serving staff are both unhelpful and forgetful. The only positive I can think of is that it normally has space. Not surprising given the quality of food and service. There are dozens of places in St Albans that do a much much better brunch so don't waste your money here.

Just dropped in on a busy Saturday lunch hour. No problem getting a table for 4 . Friendly efficient service. Food was good and was a bit of a Mediterranean - American fusion blend ...

Came for dinner at Megan’s Saturday evening after staying overnight in the area. We had the skewers for 2 with extra halloumi, fries and flatbread. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Our waiter was very friendly and pleasant. Glad we found this little gem and will definitely be coming back and recommend highly.

Great atmosphere, small but incredibly tasty plates, nice Middle Eastern influences . Perfect for sharing and nibbling. Everything is prepared well and the menu has stuff for everyone. Service is great , staff are friendly and they have a decent bar. sometimes there’s a wait so at busy times it’s best to have a reservation!

Really loved our meal here. The server Jaymie was wonderful and very thoughtful. She looked after us and made sure we always had drinks and that everything was okay. The food itself was excellent. A great selection of meat and vegetarian/vegan options, so there was something for everyone.

Oh their open kebab is everything!!!! The hot sauce that comes with chicken... Watch out for that. It's lovely!

Just had the set menu for our wedding Anniversary. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Food, service etc were excellent. Will recommend and certainly be back.

The place is lovely , lighting and the atmosphere felt good . We were seated and given menus very quickly. Great start. Then we waited and waited for someone to take our order. Eventually we got someone's attention , we only called in for tea and cake. After a short wait the cake arrived ,carrot cake , which was delicious but no drinks . We eventually caught the attention of a waiter who brought the drinks which felt like they had been stood a while. We then wanted to pay but there was nobody around to get the bill after waiting for an age we went to the counter to settle up. I didn't realise until we left that we were charged for service . Had I known there was a service charge I would have refuse to pay it because the service was very poor.

Redeemed! I had written a review a year or so ago. After multiple visits we became disappointed for many reasons. We decided after a year to come back and try it again. So happy to say that we'll definitely be back again soon. The meals were beautiful! All plates were empty by the end 👌 Thanks for a lovely brunch and lovely service 🙏

What a perfect evening! I came for dinner with family and we were very well looked after. Special thanks to Nora, Jamie and Austeya. The food and drinks were delicious, will be returning very soon.

Booked a table this evening for me and my partner, amazing service from the mangers nora and austeja, fabulous cocktails especially the espresso martini made by annabel. Will be returning.

Waited too long to review them! All credit for a great kids menu. It’s not just chicken nuggets and chips. Healthy options for little and big kids! And such good value for money. Adult food and drinks good as well. Such a winner to come to! You can’t go wrong. Love love Megans. It’s on special request frequently with my little boy.

Memorable and a relaxed evening at a lovely restaurant.

It's a pretty place. The service was great and so was the food, I will definitely go back again. The cocktails were nice although I would have loved my Spritz to be a bit stronger

The portions are a little small but good taste

We waited almost 20-25 minutes for someone to take our order and offer us a drink (the restaurant was empty). The food was ok but nothing special. Even once we finished our food it took them over 20 minutes (and still counting) to take our empty plates, it gave me enough time to write this review. Every time we interacted with the staff we had to call them over. Very poor service and won't be returning.

Very friendly especially Lucie. Menu selection for breakfast made a welcome change. Hot, tastie, great coffee. We usually walk past Megan's to go to other places in St Albans but we wanted to try somewhere new. We are glad we did and will be going back.

It is always a pleasure to come to Megan’s in St Albans. The staff are always courteous. Friendly and professional. Nora, Ellie (Our waitress) and Harvey have a special knack of remembering your name and making you feel part of the family when you are greeted by your name as you come in and leave. A rare gift and one that separates Megan’s St Albans from the rest. Must say though - Not to sure about the Greek sausage in the Megan’s Breakfast. Too much Garlic for me. Ellie our waitress was brilliant. We really enjoy coming here for our Sunday Morning treat. See you soon. Mark and Alison. X

Fab delicious food and service was good. Only complaint was that there was a dog in the next booth who was promptly sat on the bench at the table and was fed food from it's owner's plate. I am not a fan of dogs in restaurants, but can tolerate them if they sit quietly under the table. My partner is very allergic to dogs and if he had come and sat there afterwards he would have had a bad reaction. Cannot understand why the staff allowed this and have never seen it in any other restaurants.

Service somewhat slow despite it feeling like a quiet Friday night out. Once plates cleared from the table, we were not checked on once before asking for the bill over an hour later. Zorba the Greek was a nice addition to the playlist and gave some atmosphere, however.

Amazed at how perfect this spot is, with their £25 bottomless deals you can certainly have a fun time here with friends under the tasteful boho Mediterranean decor. The menu is comprehensive with many great sounding dishes and the staff are super friendly. The crowd seems very family friendly and middle aged yet fun, I can’t wait to come back here again and try other items off the menu, instant personal favourite.

Celebrated my husband’s 40th here with private dining. Space was beautiful and perfect with our families and several small children. Food was delicious…three large sharing boards of starters, mains and dessert and something for everyone, from the 80 year old grandparents down to a fussy five year old. The cheese fondue, halloumi, tenderstem and chicken thighs were all particularly popular with the family and the brownies, baklava, cookies and ice cream were a huge hit with everyone. The staff were attentive but also relaxed and made the entire day feel super chilled and easy to celebrate. Will definitely return.

Service was very standard and food didn't taste very fresh. Long wait time in between ordering and having to ask to order mains. Drinks took ages to come. It very quiet and staff just not attentive. It was my Birthday and not acknowledged as didn't check I booker, just sat us down. I could see the kitchen staff on their mobiles because it was quiet. Handling food and mobiles is not hygienic. Disappointing as usually enjoy coming here.

So food was amazing! And beautifully presented. Lots of cocktail options and they tasted amazing. Our server was so kind, nothing was a problem. Already looking forward to going back and after showing friends/family photos of the food, they also look forward to going.

They never clean the tables or seats. Seriously, ive never seen a place that doesn’t clean tables! I’ve been here three times and it’s honestly been worse each time. Overall the food is good but the service is lacking. Staff doesn’t have any idea about customer service and they all seem quite grumpy like they don’t care at all. I’m not coming back even though the place itself looks nice

Delicious bottomless brunch, the food was very fresh and the drinks kept coming. Huge thanks to Hassanna who looked after us and kindly stopped and chatted when pouring our next drinks. She was fabulous and made us feel so welcome.

Came here in the middle of the week for dinner, the food was really nice (meze platter) but service felt a bit rushed as it was quite late.

Very cosy place! I don't know what else could they do better 10/10. Perfection! The staff is super friendly, so attentive and they know what they are doing! :) on point all the time :) Food is good 👍 it's Turkish cuisine, so they have quite many vegetarian and vegan options as well as meat options. Dog friendly, and it's not just tolerating dogs , but actually dog loving restaurant 🐶🥰 our dogs have been take care of with a bowl of water and treats 😊 it just straight away made feel welcome with our puppies 😁 Atmosphere cosy, the music vibe let you enjoy the time, but not overpowering. All in all, it's 10 out of 10. Perfection!

We went today for late breakfast/lunch. Both dishes were very tasty, tasted fresh and like nothing i have tried or can compare to.. really nice flavours. I loved the passion fruit soda. The staff are all friendly and efficient. I love the evil eyes hanging from above, and the decor in general is just really nice and pretty.

10/10 great place for families amd kid friendly

Had to wait 40 minuets to be served. 7 guests that sat down after us were served first. We waved at 3 different servers and all of them ignored us. Manager with Karen haircut was rude when we asked if we could be served. Waitress with long blonde hair also ignored multiple times until after we had finished our food. The only highlight from this visit was the 4 dogs sat next to us. Would not recommend unless you like your time wasted.

Excellent service and very child-friendly with colouring provided, a great child’s menu and delicious food and coffee.

The food was good, the service was adequate, but the restaurant was not full and the noise from people talking was very loud added to which, there was music playing the whole time, making it very difficult to have a conversation. While I would be happy to try a different branch of Megan’s, I will not be going back to the St Albans restaurant.

Lovely Loreta at St Albans was so kind and everyone who looked after us during our visit was brilliant. Great food, great value. Would definitely revisit and recommend to friends.

This place has really improved. My last visit was negative due to a rude front of house. That person no longer works here and my visit this time was very different. Lovely, friendly staff and great food. Very happy with the vegan mezze and the sangria. Great value too.

While the food is usually good, unfortunately service is typically very slow most times we have visited. In our last visit, we had asked for a side of sauce and were charged £2 for a small amount. Prices could be better and small charges such as this example, more transparent.

We celebrated a baby shower in the private dining room. Everything was great: good and affordable food, friendly staff and easy communication.

The food was very average. Service was terrible one of the waitresses didn’t specify correctly what is halal and confused my order and when i confronted her about it she was rude. Had to speak to 3 different waiters to get my order which came half an hour later than my husbands. They charge for filtered tap water… shakshuka has alcohol in it…

Nice decor. Underwhelming, expensive shakshouka with stone cold halloumi on the side. Our coffee arrived after the food. Lacklustre service. Wished we'd gone elsewhere to be honest

Tasty food but unfortunately it was less than half full on a Saturday evening (7.30 -9pm) so it lacked atmosphere. There was a big dog at the next table and whilst I'm a dog lover prefer on to diner with them. The drinks are rather pricey so I wonder if that's putting off diners as I'd recommend the food.

Have been a few times and it’s a great place for brunch. Went for a special occasion and Loreta was great and made it more special with some cake and a candle. Great service and tasty food.

Very average and quite expensive small lunch. Went in and we both had the open chicken kebab which was tasty. I was presented with our water after we had finished our meal. We were offered tomato ketchup which has a thick skin over it. My wife ordered wine which was 14 quid a glass. They charge 4.90 for a very small portion of skinny fries which is in my opinion was extortionate.

Me and my partner had dinner at Megan’s last night in St Albans. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant itself felt extremely relaxing and we really liked the decor. Overall a very positive experience.

Unfortunately on the evening we came for dinner the service was just really bad. The waitresses gave off a vibe like we had ruined their evening by even being there, even though we had booked. We had to wait half an hour for pre dinner drinks and then everything from then on just seemed like it was too much trouble. It’s such a shame because the restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night, but the food was good and we spent nearly 200 pounds for dinner and drinks from a party of 3 ladies. Megan’s management- please train your staff to be more proactive and to enjoy their jobs or at least occasionally smile. I guess it’s good for brunch or lunch, but I couldn’t recommend this place for dinner. Thanks !

Everything was amazing from the food and service. We had Fran as a waitress and she was super! Would recommend highly :)
