The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Aberdeen City North East Scotland

Bonito rolls were fabulous and chicken wings were loveley. Highly recommended, with very friendly staff. A fresh hot sushi spot in the perfect location 😋

Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. First, the service was painfully slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to place our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. When it finally did, the sushi was subpar at best. The fish did not taste fresh, and the rice was either overcooked or hard in several pieces. The menu prices do not match the quality of the food. For what we paid, I expected something much better. To make matters worse, the presentation was sloppy, and some of the rolls fell apart as soon as they were picked up. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend it to anyone looking for quality sushi.

This is our favourite Aberdeen sushi place! Always good food, excellent sushi and ramen. The staff is always helpful and polite.

My family and I came here while visiting the UK from America. First I will say, I hope you go during the week because the weekend there was a line out the door for this place and the food is decent, but definitely not worth waiting in line for. There were three of us and I was the only one whom enjoyed their meal. I did have to add a significant amount of soy and hot sauce though. The other two didn't even finish half their meals as they found them to be completely bland and flavorless. All -in-all it seemed trendy and all but the food was certainly not worth writing home about
