Great quality and flavour. Nice range of dishes. Feels like a hidden gem.

The food and service were both exceptional. The young lady that served our table was really great at her job, very polite and punctual with a really genuine manner. The only reason I didn't give five stars is the service charge of 10% doesn't actually go to the service staff. We asked to leave a tip by card and asked to make sure the service staff including the lady that served us got the tips and she said if paid by card they don't get them. I believe they should. The owners of this business should be exceptionally proud of the staff, they are doing a great job and should be rewarded for it when tips are given by customers.

Never disappoints, friends came to visit so took them here. Everyone praised the food and service .

Best Korean restaurant in Scotland. Delicious, friendly staff.

Very poor experience The sizzling beef didn’t sizzle and was pretty grey. The staff hardly spoke any English and were not great. The soft shell crab tempura was a joke, they served us tempura vegetables. When we asked why it wasn’t crab they took It away and we were still charged. We were asked to be quiet when we tried to complain. The sushi looked like it had been sitting out all day. The plum wine was nuclear hot and not just warm. We won’t be back. I usually photograph meals but this wasn’t worth taking a picture of. Very disappointing and nothing authentic about it having travelled to Japan.

Overall okay food and atmosphere. However you name the dishes you want with numbers and they messed up my order , I didn’t touch the incorrect dish but was still made to pay full price for it.

Ramen was okay and quit big portion.

Hands down on of the best Asian food restaurants in Aberdeen, if not the best! Food was delicious and staff were great, so friendly and caring. Sushi was fresh and well made. My fav new place for Asian food.

Visited here for the first time with my Korean husband as we were travelling up from London. We were craving Korean food really bad so we decided to come here but it was overall a horrible experience. Nothing like Korean food, the food was clearly cheap quality and there was paper that went over our grill for bbq… this is not normal, not even in London. I believe this is to save them from doing dishes but it leaves a plastic scent in the meat which we were sensitive to. Will not be coming back here. We have been told there are better places in Aberdeen for korean food. Would not recommend, super disappointing.

The food was great! The staff was really helpful in guiding us to use the stove. It was really a great experience. The meat was freshly marinated and all the veggies were fresh. Will definitely be returning here.

This was easily the best meal I’ve had in ages! My husband and I chose to celebrate our anniversary here and we felt so valued and appreciated. The service was above and beyond and I was blown away. I honestly could not have asked for a better meal or evening and will 100% be back. The food was SO fresh and flavourful and I am excited to try more of it. My only wish is that they sold their kimchi in massive to go quantities 😆

Was looking forward to this meal. But when I sat down and wait 30mins and not 1 staff to ask about my order. Heck didn't even offer a drink at all. They did eventually ask if we ready to order as soon we put our jacket on to walk out. 30 mins waiting with no staff ridiculous.

My food was served extremely late, to the point where it was abnormal. This happened because my friend's order, which was placed at the same time, arrived almost 20 minutes earlier. The staff walked past without paying any attention to my table. 👎👎I asking a tall girl with a round face ,😨 but she was standing there picking her nose, I am asking 😰😰She scowled at me loudly.😢 My food still not coming and I see she didn’t check my food 😒😒I waited for another 10 minutes and my food not come my friend have to ask for me again!! This is the second time!!My suggestion is that they should provide better service. I won’t go back again and and I will tell my friends not to go back. We are know a lot of people in Aberdeen!! and I will tell them at the same story.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Fantastic food, one of the best Asian places in the city. Loved everything that came off the grill

Probably the worst Korean BBQ meal that I have ever had. Pretentious bbq set meals are over-priced and lacking condiments and taste. The staff were mainly Mandarin-speaking Chinese with the exception of one young man who sounded like a local Scotsman. The pickled cabbage (kimchi) and cucumbers tasted like the vegetables had only been dipped into the pickle sauce that day and lacked a lot of taste. The miso soup was flavourless and should have been a clear radish soup. Missing were bean sprouts, crispy fried anchovies (?), pickled radish, strips of omelette and a couple of others that I forget. The meat didn't look well marinated and the larger pieces needed cutting, something other restaurants offer to do for you. The hot plate needed to be covered with a sheet of grease proof paper (?) which I presume is to make their job of cleaning easier. Does nothing for the taste. The pork belly was too fatty. A better cut was preferred by all. We ordered bibimbap from the "hot pot" menu. When we queried this we were told they don't do hot pot. The dish was served in a stone or metal bowl but hadn't been cooked long enough to get the rice to burn around the base. The accompanying sauce was like a poor substitute for tomato ketchup and not the expected spicy Korean chilli sauce. The best part of the whole meal was the teriyaki sauce on the chicken. I was so looking forward to this evening but it was spoiled and I fear that others may eat here and think this is the standard for Korean BBQs.

Came here Saturday evening, the food was fantastic, quick service and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Will 100% return again.

Had a great evening here. The prawn tempura sushi was especially delicious. The staff were lovely and even went out of their way to make the evening special for a member of our party’s 30th birthday.

This is not how u cut sashimi. The pieces are all uneven. I tried some of the maki - was such poor quality and they call themselves "authentic". DO NOT recommend

Service is great but the food is just ok. The Korean menu is better that the Japanese, for sure. The sushi is unfortunately better at chains like itsu than it is here. The bibimbap was very tasty, although a bit more pork would have been welcome. The place tends to be quite noisy and the smoke from the Korean barbecue sticks with you. Been twice now but not sure if I will return.

My sisters and i visited for our first time at a korean/Japanese restaurant, I'm so glad we picked here, it was such a wonderful experience! The service was impeccable, the staff we're so helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Food was amazing and everything so fresh. I can't wait to go back again.

One of my favourite places to eat in Aberdeen, so glad to have a good Korean restaurant in Aberdeen. Food and service has always been excellent, highly recommended. Menu is mix of Japanese and Korean favorites.

Missing my mother's cooking, I ordered the ox tail soup and kimchi and it tasted just like being back home. With enough busniess i hope they can start serving Korean alcohol one day.

Staff were attentive and friendly. We had maki for lunch the children loved them. Not particularly keen on vegetables ramen.

Tasty food at a reasonable price.

Went there couple of times. First time was with friends, ordered a bowl of ramen, to be honest the taste is acceptable (I've had way much better ramen before), but what made it worse is the service, was served by a guy and he seemed don't even want to be there and annoyed by our request (we asked for additional chili oil and soya sauce). Left with a feeling of unimpressed, but I was still being positive, maybe they were short staffed. Went there for the 2nd time by myself for a quick lunch, was looking forward to taste their other menu (still being positive, maybe this time will be better since there weren't many customers). Was served by the same guy, and I asked the size of their bimbimbap, he seemed annoyed with my question and replied with ' It's a big portion because it's a main course ??' with a tone like I don't know what bimbimbap is (being Asian, I grew up with all kinds of Asian food and 80% of my meal everyday is Asian food including Japanese and Korean, and have tasted the same food in few countries including its originated countries) , but choose to ignore it. Then I asked whether the battered enoki mushroom, comes with enoki mushroom only or mixed vegetables . And he corrected me with ' That's called tempura, and it's prawn not mushroom' , eventhough the photo literally shown enoki mushroom, again choose to ignore it. Then I asked another question about portion of their kimchi jigae, but this time he answered it nicely, maybe he noticed the change of my facial expression. Anyway, ended with baked salmon sushi which tastes alright, and kimchi jigae which very salty. Came home with husband asked my experience, and whether we should go for their Korean bbq (both of us Love korean bbq) and I said don't bother.

All service were absolutely great. Food looks beautiful, but without taste. Ramen without umami. But the worst suprice was green tea from bag. I couldn't believe I get green tea from bag in Asian Restaurant.

Fantastic, high quality food with very friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to help understand the menu if you are uncertain. Highly recommend the Tonkatsudon Pork, best I have had in many years. After all that the price is phenomenal for what you get, £36 for myself and my partner to share a starter and enjoy 2 main courses with drink. 100% will be back next time we are passing through Aberdeen.

Odd situation. Got seated at a weird table then got the meals were coming out at wildly different times for our table did not see the same issue at other tables and got the wrong cutlery for the meal.

I arrived in town about an hour before my check in and Seoul was the perfect post-train meal! I had the dolsot bimbimbapp (pork). Pork was marinated to perfection, vegetables were SO fresh and the egg was exactly the right amount of runny. Miso soup was just divine on a misty day. Definitely worth your time if you're a fan or Korean food.

My fiance and I came here last night for a long awaited date night and didn't have a great time. The sushi we received was stodgy and flavourless, the tempura veg was 60% fried batter and 40% actual veg. Along with this, the tables were unpleasantly sticky (our glasses took some tugging to actually come off the table) and the music was pretty overbearing for a restaurant. In addition to this though and more worryingly, there was seemingly no understanding of food allergies or intolerances among the wait staff. On asking for an allergy menu we were met with an almost pitying 'no, sorry', with no suggestions of how they could help or even an inquiry of which foods we needed this for. My fiance has relatively mild gluten intolerance and sushi is generally fine in this regard so he explained that this was the case and the waitress agreed that he would be able to order sushi without issue. Despite this he received one item which was in tempura batter despite not being advertised as such on the menu, meaning he was unable to eat this. Our request for gluten free soy sauce was also met with a mildly pitying 'oh we don't do that here'. It's worth noting that every other place we've ordered sushi from has had an allergy menu/gf soy sauce as standard. Thankfully we were fine as the intolerance is mild and we know what to look out for but for someone with a severe allergy this place would be very dangerous. I can't imagine we'll return - there is far better sushi on offer elsewhere in Aberdeen where dietary requirements are actually understood.

We ordered two bibimbaps in pork and beef, the taste was fine. However, the taste of BBQ pork set was quite strong, I suspected much monosodium glutamate was added and made you feeling very thirsty after dinner.

Fantastic all round, tempura sushi was full of flavour, staff very helpful when it come to navigating the large menu. would definitely go again.

This is a good restaurant. We tried the Korean stew (for two people) and we had plenty to eat. While this was good, it was a bit too salty and we would probably go for the bimbimbap or the BBQ next time!

Tried Seoul tonight for the first time and was not disappointed. Staff immediately were very friendly and while the restaurant was very busy I was seen to very quickly. I ordered food for takeaway and there was a seating area where they brought ice water with lemon to have whole I waited. I had Korean pan fried beef with udon noodles. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be returning in future.

It is the only Korean BBQ in Aberdeen and I recommend that you book it in advance to ensure you are allocated a table with the BBQ grill plate and hot plate. Real tasty Korean food and go down well with soju.

Gorgeous Korean and Japanese food. Portions generous and fairly priced in terms of local competition. Authentic atmosphere and attentive service. Would recommend this as a dining option for small groups and couples. Option for BBQ of your food at your table.

Nice people, nice atmosphere, nice decor but none of the sea food was fresh at all. It could be a really nice place if they had a decent fish and shellfish supplier. Grill had not been cleaned well and the grease proof paper over the grill gave a cardboard flavour to everything too.

Excellent sushi. Highly recommend this place. I never knew it existed. Food was amazing. They need to do something about the extremely sticky tables. And the toilets need some repair and a good scrub.

Absolutely wonderful place. The place was quite full when we got in but at no point it felt too crowded. The food was fantastic, and the sheer amount of different food items will surely make you come back to try more things. The sushi we had may very well be the best ones we've tried in Aberdeen (and believe me we tried quite a few places). It was also my first time trying barbeque at the table and it was a very fun experience. The waiting staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Ended up spending around three hours in the restaurant and we didn't even feel the time fly. Wholeheartedly recommend giving this place a try if you like Korean and/or Japanese cuisine, and surely bring company.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. Menu is very impressive as there’s loads of stuff to choose from. The food are very good. Probably the best sushi and kimchi I had in Aberdeen so far. We also had the korean grill meat set which is a big portion so totally worth the money. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to anyone who likes Japanese and Korean food!

Had a bbq table here. First time had this outside Asia but impressed as was my wife who is Thai. Staff very friendly/helpful. Daughter severe nut allergy so always good to have informed staff. Had set pork bbq, kimchi soups, gyoza dumplings etc, plenty for three and couple beers. £20/head total, can't fault that. Defo recommend and they get extra points having Guinness. Definately be on daughters go place who's up there and next time we're in Aberdeen it'll be first port of call.

I went with my friends. We only ordered from the Korean menu this time ( Japanese menu is reserved for our next visit). There were four of us and we ordered two BBQ sets. It came with the appropriate meets, miso soup, leaves, rice and dips for each person. That alone was enough but we also tried the kimchi fried rice, ox tail stew and some kimchis. Everything was REALLY good. Can't wait to go back! We actually ended up being the last people to leave but the staff were to sweet and did not rush us at all. They even helped us to pack the things we could finish and have us bags to carry the food in.

This place is amazing! We had a family dinner. It took us a while to decide what to eat as the menu is really long. The staff is very nice and patient. We ended up ordering a starter , 3 main dishes and sushi. Everything was AMAZING! The seasoning, the texture... words can't describe how good they were! The price for the value of the food and the level of service is low! I definitely recommend this restaurant! We will be back! And that's a promise (not a threat!) 😊

we’ve been here a lot of time and every time something went wrong. last time we waited more than an hour to get the food. this time there’s a hair in the soup and we asked 3 times for just 2 bowls of rice and still have to wait a while for them. we were really disappointed this time.

First time I've been to the restaurant. I can say I will be back many more times in the near future.

New kid in the block! Definitely go and try it out! Pumpkin crouqet was crunchy! My eel roll and the prawn futomaki was light and delish. The miso soup was just right. we will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

The food was unauthentic, the service was abysmal and chaotic. The fish was clearly not kept in accordance to the standards of real Japanese foods as the sashimi was frozen straight through the middle to the point i felt as though i was getting brain freeze. I felt heavy after the meal and had an upset stomach for a while.

Been there 4 times so far and I always had something different from their expansive menu. Great food, both the Japanese and Korean fares are very tasty. The Korean BBQ tables are great for parties. The staff is very attentive too.

Incredible restaurant with great food options for Japanese and Korean. I've not been to a restaurant where you can BBQ the food at the table yourself since South Korea in 2017 so it was great being able to relive that experience. The food is delicious, pricing is reasonable and the staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back

Great food, friendly staff, good value.

Really disapointed. We ordered a shared plate for 2 (Menue C if not mistaking), we received obviously the sides, and 3 poor peaces of meat for £17 or £18 per person. We mentionned that to them as I really think it was a mistake and we had portion for 1, they told us they would get back to us with info, which they never did. Had to order 12 Makis to end up as we were still hungry (we are not big eaters btw).

We went for the Japanese menu. Excellent. Will definitely be back to try the Korean grill next time.

It’s disappointing as the reviews mostly have been good It’s harder to get people out and through the door with the cost of living etc and you want to feel like you’ve enjoyed the evening out but sadly not our experience tonight. Service was terrible, waiting ages, we were sat at the worst bbq table right at the back and booth seats so far away from the table we had to perch at the end. No instructions on how to use the grill or what to do or explaining the menus. One set of tongs for 2 ppl wasn’t practical. No option for forks and the chopsticks are metal and don’t grip anything. Tiny plates to eat on and no real space. No check to see if we wanted any more drinks. It was busy but the staff seemed to struggle forgetting tables, bringing orders to us that weren’t ours. No attention paid. For a meal out it was real hard work and expensive for what we ordered. The food was alright, best dish we ordered was the Kimchi rice, but Sirloin steak was expensive and cut so thin it could have been cheap frying steak and it wasn’t seasoned at all. The booth table at the back feels like a forgotten after thought. All in all we waited 15 mins for the bill with the table 1/2 cleared and ended up walking to the bar. I had to say we haven’t paid the bill or else we could have just left without paying.. no one really knew what was going on. Chaotic maybe that’s just a Saturday but we won’t rush to visit again I was disappointed and wished we’d saved the money.

Well I can't say very much about the service as it was very very poor but I thought the food was not bad. I wouldn't rush back but its something different in Aberdeen.

We walked in on a relatively busy night without a booking and the staff kindly found a table for us, no fuss. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and a reasonable price with good size portions. Great selection of foods on the menu and the food came to the table quickly. Brilliant, will be back again! :)

Excellent food and proper Korean bbq experience - a great new addition to Aberdeen! Despite a small mix up with our booking the staff sorted it very quickly and provided us with a bbq table and the service was excellent - all staff were lovely and welcoming. Food was incredible, such large portions for very cheap and we definitely will be back!

Amazing food, good price, well looked after

The Korean menu is extensive and authentic. The BBQ along with the side dishes such as kimchi were fantastic. They also have ssamjang and sesame oil dip, which goes very well with the meat. It’s very reasonably priced for what you get. Definitely go for Korean BBQ if you’re looking to try something new.

cheap...and bad service, low quality...and too much MSG!!!

I wish I could give this 0 stars. The location was near to us and we kept passing this place so thought we’d try it out. Walked in, the staff were very dismissive of our questions about the food. The salmon was ice cold and the sushi smelt and tasted like sweaty feet. The tuna and the yakitori made my eyes water. I went to the loo for a leak and to my blood-curdling terror found a log crowning in one the toilets. None of my friends finished their food and a member of staff made a disrespectful comment about my friend’s weight on the way out. The worst was yet to come. I’ve spent the last 2 nights suffering from catastrophic diarrhoea. I’ve had multiple accidents. This review is coming straight from the bog. It’s so bad I can barely think. I just wish this would end.

I went in on a Tuesday evening, the place was relatively quiet but it still took some time for the staff to seat us. It then took a further 20 mins for the staff to take our order and another hour for the food to come. At this point my wife was quite upset as we had called in advance for her birthday. When the food eventually came the sushi rolls involved refrigerated rice and the dumplings were undercooked. I will not be going back to this restaurant. The service was not great and they even charged us for the ‘birthday service’ on the cake I had brought for my wife. This ‘birthday service’ involved one candle and a sad attempt at singing happy birthday.

First time trying Korean BBQ since there have been no places around in Aberdeen until now. I absolutely loved it and the staff were amazing, so pleasant inside and all-in-all a great experience. Will definitely be back again!

Avoid this place!! I got such bad food poisoning from this place. It’s cheap but it’s cheap for a reason. Korean food is absolutely poured with msg and the meats and fish… definitely no fresh
